👍👍 Great place to visit specially in the summer. It’s exactly in the center of Hofgarten and so close to Englischer Garten. You can simply visit this place after English Garden and then exit it to the Odeonsplatz (another interesting place to visit, which a live music program is usually held there). People often mention Hofgarten, garden,

The Diana Temple is the centre monument at the Hofgarten north of Residenz and an interesting thing to see if you plan to spend time in the garden before or after visiting the Residence. What you will see is an early 17th-century, Renaissance style gazebo with eight arches and a dome topped by a bronze figure of Tellus, the female symbolic figure and secular patroness of Bavaria. The interior of the gazebo features a patterned floor and shelled fountains embedded in the closed arch sections. Overall, The Diana Temple is an interesting historical structure to see. Give it a few minutes if you find yourself in Hofgarten and enjoy this type of sightseeing during your travels.

Great place for dates or to rest during walking around the city. The Diana Temple is a twelve-sided gazebo from the Renaissance period with eight open and four closed round arcades. It is the crossing point of the main and diagonal axes of the Hofgarten where it stands. It was created in 1613-1617 in Italian style together with the Hofgarten. It serves as an unofficial and informal meeting place for dancers, and sometimes here coming street musicians.

One of the best places in Munich. In summer street musicians are playing here or dancers meet and dance salsa, tango ect. It's a magic place.

Was eine Atmosphäre:)

The Diana Temple is in the Munich Hofgarten, the garden of the Munich Residence. It's a large twelve-sided concrete gazebo from the Renaissance period with eight open and four closed round arcades. Plenty of seating area inside.

Park full of beautiful flowers, statues, artesian fountains, trees that offer natural coolness when is hot and a good place to practice or learn...new dance moves. ^^

Nice enough structure, not really a pilgrimage worthy thing thing to visit but here are some seats and shaded cover, for a sunny or rainy day.

Beautiful outdoor garden space with symmetrical balance and vast green space for relaxing. Very relaxing atmosphere in the city when trying to get away from the fast moving crowds. Definitely recommend!

A beautiful historical monument at the centre of the garden. Since everything was covered in snow, the only structure that stood out was the Dianatempel. You can sit on one of the benches around it and admire.

A really interesting building in the middle of the Hofgarten. It has cover which was good for us since it was drizzling. There is also a statue on the top of it.
