Great place but like anywhere gets busy and noisy in summer. Scuba diving allowed in march-may and sep-nov but parking options have been severely limited close to the lake.

It was a lovely afternoon to visit the place. Nice to sit and enjoy the fresh views. Relaxing and fun to be under the sun and have a chance to swim in the river. Recommended to enjoy the last days of summer!

This is one of the best lakes in Munchen. Not far from the center. Very nice to walk and have a bath. Very easy to find parking. Also it offer much fun for little ones as it has two very nice and not crowded playgrounds.

Impressive artificial lake very close to Messe. Fine sand banks and plenty of people enjoying a swim. A short walk from Messe and the conference centre. Would definitely recommend checking it out. Plenty of walking area around. A 10 minute walk from the car park though. Accessible for wheelchair users.

It is a very nice, big park, the lake is amazing , fresh water where you can swim in June to August, the hill there gives you a nice view and you might lay on the grass in a sunny day to take a sun bath , while in winter it is amazingly covered by snow and the lake is some times peace of ice

It is a very beautiful and lovely place with a fantastic view with swimming possibilities .

Great place to walk. The neighboring area has parks for little one and well maintained floral gardens. Lots of people enjoy the lake which is a very pretty blue color.

Nice place to spend your holiday!! You can plan to swim here and it's allowed and you can enjoy some sort of water sports too.

This place is on of my favorites place in Munich. If you like to swim in nature then this is on of the best place in munich. I also go this place for jogging very good for walking in the nature. You can see other people doing activities which also do motivates sometimes. Highly recommend to visit for swimming, walking and running

Beautiful place but very crowded.

Outstanding for open water swimming! Clean, calm and pretty warm in mid-June. May be a bit crowded on a sunny day tho. Good infrastructure with toilets is also available.

Not crowded on Sunday, good playground for the kids. If you come early - we have been there around 12.30 - you can find a free table also. Its better to come by car or bike if you dont or cant walk from the ubahn or sbahn around 15 mins to the park.

Lovely lake with a huge park and cycling track. Beer garden nearby is nice. There is a mall at walking distance. Good location well connected to ubahn
