We stayed at the Campanile for 2 nights. The rooms are clean but small. Tea and coffee making facilites are included, breakfast was extra on top of our rate (we didnt bother, we eat breakfast in Amsterdam) the hotels main selling point for us was the free car park and the fact that it was right next to Gaspaarplas metro station which gets you to Centraal Station in about 20 minutes. The "extra" child bed wasnt of a great standard, but sufficed.

despite instructions to leave towels in the sink (if you want them changed/cleaned), we repeatedly found that our used towels hadn't been changed. We stayed one week, and the linens had also not been changed for several days (instead the duvet and pillow covers had been turned inside/out and upside/down a couple of times) wifi connection was also very slow. apparently reliable (it didn't outright disconnect us), but it was actually good enough only for loading a few simple pages

After a 14 hours drive we arrived to be told they didnt know we had dogs and they we not happy we did have them ( we booked and paid for this room months in advance and selected dog friendly hotels ) , the manager was very rude did not want to help , said our dogs smelled ( she never saw or met them ) she spoke to her co workers in dutch although she spoke very good english ( hiding her comenets ) , she was clearly unhappy we had arrived . Later asked me moved my car as in was in the wrong place ( a marked parking space with other guests cars ) If your English they dont want you here and I would never return .

Rooms very basic, could be cleaner. We were greeted by a bloody towel in the bathroom. Some of the staff are friendly, others are not. In general breakfast is pretty okay. Tuesday eggs were cold and there was no bread. I asked for some and was told sometimes the girls don't feel like it. 😅 I guess they didn't feel like keeping the eggs warm either. All the other days that didn't happen. We ate dinner twice there and that was very nice. Small menu but good cook and friendly service. We still have an open issue regarding the taxes we were made to pay. It just doesn't add up to the information you find on the city pages. Very close to the metro station which is a plus but nothing to see in the neighborhood.

Good location even if you dont have a car as the station is right next to it. The food there is also pretty cheap, which is great. Not what we expected but did what it needed to do and staff are friendly.

Scam hotel I booked 2 nights for 156€ via check24.de. 20€ of the money was for TAX, which was clearly written like that on the booking page of check24.de When I arrived at the Hotel, they asked me to pay 21€ TAX because „ever hotel in amsterdam does that“ He showed me that the room is 133€ + 20€ TAX I showed him on my phone clearly that check24 booked 156€ and that the tax rate was included and that I already paid the TAX, but the staff still insisted me to pay them another 21€ tax.

Great location right next to metro station. The rooms are basic, service is ok. Price/quality ratio is not ideal

The room was nice and tidy, we stayed there for a long time and appreciate the service. Staff was very helpful and friendly, I would give them 5stars, but the hotel manager was not very nice. She was even rude sometimes and seemed to be upset, that we were there and she had to talk to us.

very good hotel. We were looking for a hotel with a guarded parking lot because my car had a trailer. We were allowed to park our car and book rooms without any problems. clean rooms, small but perfect size. The bathroom is very well lit. Free coffee available at reception. Beautiful interior to relax downstairs near the reception. The service was very nice and the prices in the bar for alcohol and drinks were very affordable. I am satisfied with the service. Employees very nice. The perfect location next to the metro station is great. the only minus was the fan in the bathroom that worked all the time. it was noisy and I had to close the bathroom at night.

Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the room next to me. Finally I had to stand up and call someone from their info sheet at 03.26 a.m. A sleepy guy said he would call them. Then 15 min silence and back to party in their room. So a sleepless night in A'dam.

Luhtitalo tyylinen hotelli.

A bit far from the center of amsterdam but over all it’s good considering the price.

Didn't use the overnight stay facility, but the restaurant for a business acquaintance. We chose this hotel to meet, as it is very conveniently close to the highway. Both of us received a ticket to leave the private parking lot for free. Staff was friendly.

I stayed here for 4 days last month with my partner. We had stayed there 2 years ago too. Both times were great experiences. Close to metro, friendly staff, lovely park at the back. The place was under rennovation. The room was fancier this time around, really nice and modern!

No frills motel. Beds are comfortable & shower was good. Rooms are a bit dark/dated but it's ok when it's comfortable. It's far from the city centre but it's very easy to get the metro straight into central.

Best place to stay if you are visiting Amsterdam by car or van. They have a good parking lot and are situated directly beside a train station. ~30 minute journey into the center. Not the best service, and bad wifi connection, but if you have a vehicle to deal with it is a fantastic budget option.

The hotel has many things to improve. I know in Amsterdam is not generally hot and you don't need AC, but it would be nice to have some solution for those horribly hot nights. The humidity was so high that we could not sleep, and the room had no ventilation. The staff was not very kind in general. I had a problem with my sheets (I brought my own ones) and they lost them due to a confusion, but when we told the girl from the reception she wasn't very supportive about the whole situation, which I consider a very bad service. People are extremely kind there in The Netherlands, except this person, who needs a class in kindness. I had to told them what to do about the problem, because they intended to do nothing about it. Breakfast was ok given all the Covid-19 situation. The location is very good (subway right around the corner), although at night, if your room faces the park you're gonna hear all the young people partying and drinking - very noisy. The hotel has been reformed and rooms are much better!! They are clean, too! But mattress not good at all.

A bit expensive for the room you get. But all you need was there and it was clean with a very good breakfast buffet!

A very good option if you don't plan to go out at night, as was my case. The hotel is right next to the Gaasperplas tube station, which is about 22 minutes from Central Station (line M53). Take an unlimited 24h or 48h pass and you'll be okay. The rooms are small but adequate and confortable, and the staff are nice and friendly. The price per night is about half of central Amsterdam and, in my opinion, it is a nicer area as the centre can feel a little like a theme park for groups of young adult males (red light district, access to drugs, etc).

Very nice place to stay in Amsterdam if you are travelling by car. Rooms nice, clean. Staff very friendly. Located a bit far away from city centre but 5mins away from underground station

It's okay. The location is okay (next to the metro, which takes you to the center within 20 mins) but on the other hand, it is a motel without charm at the edge of the city. Rooms were okay and reasonably clean. Nothing to phone home about. The restaurant is okay (there is nothing else in the vicinity) but expensive.

We picked this place because we were walking the Floris V-pad and it's right off the path. It's right next to a metro stop also that will get you into central Amsterdam. Much quieter and much cheaper than staying in the center. Peaceful location right next to a huge park. Aldi and several restaurants about a 15 minute walk away. Rooms were nice, nothing fancy but clean and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

I really loved staying at this hotel. The accommodation was great. The hotel is near the park, away from the traffic but next to the metro station and the bus stop. Due to this perfect location it is very quiet and during the day you can hear the birds singing from the park. They also have big parking on site, we were not driving though. Need to mention that the room was spotless clean, and beds really comfortable. Staff was very nice and pleasant. I would definitely return here when we come back to Amsterdam. Thank you Campanile Amsterdam and all the staff there for making our stay so lovely.

We had lunch here on the first day that the restaurant of the hotel could host guests from outside again. The staff still needed to get used to the new rules, but was very friendly. The pizza was nice.
