A beautiful place with a view with a really sweet owner. He spoke some French with us and taught us some new words in Bahasa Indonesia! He's really nice and passionate about doing things right. Their hot chocolate (cokelat panas) is delicious! Best one I've had in my life! A bit pricey but I guess you pay for the experience. Worth the experience, recommended!

Super friendly owner and staff and exceptional food and drink. It took a while until the food was served, but the owner gave us a heads up because they are currently understaffed. Nice concept, as well. Only using healthy, sustainable and local ingredients

I'm sad that I can't give more than 5 stars ⭐. By chance, we stopped by this place for lunch while on a trip north west Bali. It was rainy 🌧️ and foggy but the food warmed🌡️ our hearts 💕 and bellies up! *Balinese music 🎶 in the background* We were lucky that the owner was around and explained about how he cofounded a 👩women's co-operative for a nearby village to cultivate luwak, a type of civet cat 🐈 coffee, but with a noble mission of getting it from wild civets and rehabilitating 🤕 injured ones. We had a cup of their civet coffee ☕, and it was one of the best we ever tasted. We also had nasi / rice 🍚 dishes and they were delicious! Can't remember the names now, but check 1-4 in the vegetarian 🥗 menu. This is a no frills place, so don't set your expectations to a restaurant. Food is freshly prepared, and might take some time 😉. Last and not the least, try the desserts. We had Lak Lak, which is a Balinese green pancake with fillings inside. Best paired with coffee. Thank you 🙏 eco cafe, we'll be back soon!

Lovely coffee shop overlooking the hills and valleys of Munduk. Several tasty blends. The owner does a wonderful job of supporting the community.

Eco Cafe is own by cooperative of local farmers They grow in the area the Luwak coffee. The civets animals are not in cages and not demonstrated to tourists. They are free in the fields. Here the Luwak coffee is clean from chemicals and other industrial things. Here you can get the best Luwak coffee and know that no harm was made to the animals and nature. Here is the best way to try the Luwak coffee, better than the coffee shops in the cities that seems to be very commercial. Eco Cafe has several locations and this is number 2. The view from it fantastic and it is great place to sit down. The people here are very nice and offer a good hospitality.

Perched above a jungle, this simple Café offers cruelty free luwak coffee and delicious balinese desserts. We even got to meet the initiator of the collective and got to learn ways in which it is improving the lives of local farmers and the animals themselves.

This cafe is sustainable, delicious and friendly. They are very clearly committed to sustainability, and this can be seen from how they source their coffee, treat their customers, and empower their staff and female community. The luwak coconut milk cappuccino was delicious, and the nasi goreng too! The gentlemen was so friendly and shared details on their cafe and their mission. Thanks for having us!

The owner has very well coffee knowledge as he is one of the founder of local Coffee Farm Community. Great snacks too, the green pandan sweet rolls are definitely my favourite!

If you are looking for a place to buy coffee (beans or grounded) from ecologically right treated luwaks it’s the place to go. You find a great shaded terrace with a wonderful view of green surroundings and ocean there. Owner is very nice. Explained about the Programm of animal welfare for luwaks and mathematic program for rural people in the region. I just love initiatives like this. Also check out eco cafe 1, we had the time of our life there in front of a beautiful waterfall.

They offer a unique way to enjoy coffee 👌 Great view from the rooftop cafe, friendly owner and staff. They worked with women's coffee cooperative in the village, which makes this more inspiring.

Very kind staff, that will tell you everything you might want to know about the authentic luwak coffee. Probably the best coffee I had worldwide. Instead of holding the luwaks in cages, like it is mostly done, there they can explore the area free and it is an eco friendly organization with education to the locals. Part of all revenue will go to community and ecological projects in the region.

Delicious, ecological and fair coffee and desserts. Come here not to have a quick sip, but take in the amazing view on the lush rainforest and get inspired by what Budi has built. (They also have plant-based milk - best coconut cappuccino I had here)

Great food - all is prepared super fresh and can be custom made for spiciness. The drinks were also very good, a few good cocktails and local beer. Super friendly staff and the menu is available in a few languages.

Amazing place with a real Luwak coffee prepared on your table. The food is good also and the view is really nice. The farmer is smiling and take care of injured Luwak. A must visit place when your travel to Munduk.

Food and service was absolutely amazing! The view is also worth going there. If you are in munduk - you have ti go there - especially in the evening time when the fog starts fading away and the sunset comes out. Especially the me goreng and the corn fritters were absolutely insane!

Best cafe in Bali by far!! (My opinion) If you like rustic, tucked away nestled in the mountains of Munduk and a scooter adventure to appreciate and support a business that supplies only local produce direct from the farmers this is the place! The business is Fair trade accredited with %100 of the income going to the co-operative. We were lucky enough to meet the owner ‘Budi’ while he was at the cafe serving in between running another business and he was kind enough to teach us about Luwak coffee and gave us a wonderful insight about Balinese culture. If you are luck you will also see monkeys on the trip up! Best wishes Budi and co. from Harry & Sophie! 🇦🇺 let us know next time you are down under! ☺️

Delicious food with a beautiful view. Lots of vegetarian options—many more than other places we’ve visited. We went back to try their coffee and tea. They are a women's coop focused on sustainability and owner provided a great history behind this. The coffee with red ginger was the best coffee I have had in Bali. Had to buy some beans to take home. The view is stunning!

A Munduk *Must* Do! We stumbled upon this place by chance, needing a late night dinner in off season.. the menu has an extensive range of traditional Balinese & Indonesian cuisine we hadn't seen anywhere else. I didn't record the name of the dishes but we tried a style of Balinese chicken curry with the most exquisite flavour (we were trying to contain our moans, it was *that* good), a corn fritter dish with all the delicious little traditional side dishes & one of the best sate ayam we have had. We couldn't help but try the black rice pudding dessert with ginger, lemongrass & coconut milk, the flavours were incredible. Everything was amazing & far exceeded expectations. We were sad we didn't have time to come back & sample their coffee & breakfast! If you want authentic flavours at a top tier standard, definitely make sure you eat here in Munduk. 10/10.

When I visited back in February 2020 the food was superb and the coffee was excellent. Definitely the place to go if you find yourself in Munduk. The owner is also lovely and this is a great place to try sustainable Kopi Luwak.
