My friend and I came in without a reservation and the staff were really accommodating with letting us dine for an hour and slightly more despite a table being reserved after us! Their drinks were delicious! I got a rather refreshing passion fruit drink and my friend a Radler which she loved. I got the pork snitzel, and it was a little dry, but otherwise the food, despite the slightly high price considering what was offered, was still tasty! Would definitely recommend booking in advance though.

Had dinner here tonight for the first time, atmosphere was Bavarian, service was great, food was excellent, kaiserschmarrn dessert was the best I've ever had in Germany

Very good food, very good beer, a nice place to eat or drink in. Staff was very polite and quick. I recommend it. And sizes were generous.

My absolute favorite in Munich. It’s my peach pit and I love the atmosphere, great local food and Augustiner! The staff is extremely lovely and I can highly recommend this restaurant.

The manager could have calmly explained that we needed to add a tip If he chose this option then he would have got a LARGE tip and a GOOD review. Instead he chose to be rude and aggressive about it and didn't even give us a chance to correct our mistake. Now he had NO tip and a BAD review. And that's his fault. I have 7 years experience in hospitality and have always been patient with tourists regarding local customs that they couldn't possibly know. But that's me. (Decent food and drink)

Great local Bavarian resto outside the tourist area that is frequented by all the locals. The food was great and the serving sizes generous. They do have an English menu if you ask for it, but I am also uploading the English menu as I couldn't find it online anywhere.

If you have a plan to visit the museum, this restaurant could be a good choice to enjoy some traditional German dishes. Staffs were helpful not too heavy. If you want to have some green do ask for some green salad for side :)

Very good food, the young woman on staff is very helpful and nice and the older guy is a fun character. Prices for food are a bit higher than usual, but fit the quality. The beer is good and priced fairly.

This place was exactly what I was looking for. Food is straightforward and tasty: we enjoyed a pork shoulder and Vienna schnitzel, chased down with cold beer. Interior is traditional but not tacky; service unassuming and capable. Bonus points for having a fancy high chair for our kid and being super accommodating of our little family. Highly recommend.

Our hotel recommended the restaurant and we were highly impressed with the delicious, traditional Bavarian foods served in a welcoming, friendly environment. Without a reservation, we found the staff eager to find comfortable seating and provide attentive and thoughtful service. We would not hesitate to repeat!!!

Lively atmosphere inside. In terms of food, I had the best strudel of my life in this establishment. The main course, currywurst - was good. Overall, I highly recommend it.

First time in Munich and first night...great way to kick it off. Had special Pumpkin Dumplings, Spinach Dumplings, Pork Loin, and Roast Bratwurst. Everything was delicious, service was quick and portions were very filling. Really enjoyed it all...and the atmosphere was nice.

Amazing lady waited on us (likely owner/manager). We were hungover from Oktoberfest and had trouble finishing our delicious food. The schnitzel was fantastic. She saw we were struggling and asked if we'd like to finish the meal at home. We happily agreed and she carefully boxed everything up and wished us well. Great experience. Thank you!

Me and my family got to know this place during our first stay in Munich and we were so pleased with the experience that we came back another time a few days later. Food (Bavarian style) was delicious and abundant, service was perfect. The waiters patiently helped managing the space needed for putting our little child at the table with us. Pros if you have a baby: there's a changing table in the bathroom! Also if you have a baby, cons are that there no room inside for a stroller, you have to stay on the tables outside. I recommend it strongly anyway!

It was the right atmosphere, food and good service and staff who speak English. I ordered Currywurst which was really good, great taste with a little bit of a spicy kick to it. It was quite expensive but the food was still great, despite that there were not a lot of staff and quite crowded with people we got our food quite quickly.

We ate here with a big group of people. Food was served relatively fast and it was nice. My cordon blue was very tasty and tender and also my friends were happy with their meals

Ordered the kaiserschmarrn and schnitzel and it tasted really good. The sauce paired with the shredded pancakes was smooth and yummy! Had to takeaway as it was full house, remember to make a reservation if you want to visit!

Table was booked at 20hours but had to wait ca. one hour to get the table. But waiters were really making it up for the mistake and fully compensated the inconvenience. Food good as usual and helles from barrel excellent

This place had amazing German food at very reasonable prices. The käse spatzel was the best we had both ever had and the crispy onions were top notch. The fried Camembert cheese with the tart jelly sauce was also incredible. Overall will definitely be going back there when returning to Munich.

One lady in the front was doing so much; she was waiting all the customers, taking phone calls, taking orders, serving the food! They had an old school phone that whenever it rang, brought back memories of childhood. My partner and I ordered the Weisn-roaster plate (with pork) and "Seabian" cheese-cabbage (spatzle) noodles. The Weisn-roaster was a little on the saltier and richer side, which would have been good with a more citrus-type beer like a Hefeweizen to cut some of the grease. Otherwise, the lady serving us was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely :)

Good Bavarian restaurant. I ordered a Schnitzel and fries along with a beer. The food came fast - like 5 mins. The food was good. Service was quick and friendly.

Very traditional restaurante. The food was great and staff friendly. The place is small and quite busy, so reserve in advance.

I took a Bavarian sausage salade and it was very good. The server was really cool and they let us stay for a while as we were talking.

The bar/restaurant is pleasantly comfortable and the food is typically good. The wammerl (roast pork belly) at lunch was not as juicy has it can be but nonetheless tasty. The cordon bleu was delicious. The coffee was surprisingly good and the beer is Augustiner. Friendly staff. There are seats along the bar, which I like. I'll go again.
