Had a post Oktoberfest lunch at this place on a Sunday - interior was lively and the service was prompt and friendly. I had the fried Leberkase with eggs - normally this is one of the dishes I use to judge a Bavarian style restaurant. It was delicious and they accommodated my request of having fried potatoes instead of potato salad. Would come back again if I was in the area!

This was a hidden gem perfect to be the neighbourhood bar for all. Great german food and obviously good old Augustiner drinks. The old world german charm takes you back in time. Staff is friendly and food is good! What more can one expect!?

It’s my local and i have come here for a few years now. A great place for a quiet drink on a week. If he or during the warmer months when you can sit outside and enjoy a lovely atmosphere. It’s located on a residential street so no traffic noise. Food menu is extensive and the food is generally of good quality. Service is ok and you do need to ask if you want someone to pay attention to you. It’s reasonably priced and I like it.

We came here for Münchner Schnitzel and some Weizen and were not disappointed. Excellent and fast service. The Schnitzel was fabulous and overall we had a splendid experience!

This place was great. Came here for some weisswurst and a wheat beer and the woman attending was very friendly. Very tasty food and beer and I was happy with the prices. Would return here in a heartbeat- worth the 40 minute walk

An authentic German restaurant with tasty traditional Bavarian schweinshaxe mit kartoffelnodel, however i did find a caterpillar in the salad. Also let down by the fact they did not take card however the server allowed us to leave and get the required money from an atm. Overall average food but great service!

Very colorful and cozy place, beautiful atmosphere. There are English menus available, as well as English speaking personnel. The dishes are not so good, my GF didn't like sauce and roast beef. Cordon Bleu was absolutely perfect for me. There are many locals in there. I'd return to this place to drink very delicious and mild Augustiner Lager.

I had lunch here with my friends while visiting. It was nice but we were asked if we had reservations and the place was practically empty. It would have been nice to have had a regular table but we were seated in a back corner at a high top like table. Not the most comfortable. The food was good but when we left about an hour later the place was still relatively empty.

Very relaxed atmosphere at outdoor seating area. Prompt courteous staff. Excellent Bavarian cuisine and fresh cold drinks.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, nice vibe. Schnitzel was fresh, super lekker. Big portions, I can imagine how lit this place gets during a football match. Great pub ❤️

The best WienerSchnitzel with Preisselbieren (lingon berries?) That I have had in Munich. Quiet, off the tourist path, (near the Covid test location though), with an outside seating area. I had a .5L Weissbier and the schnitzel, and Omas Apfelstrudl for dessert. The server was patient with my German, and was very friendly and welcoming. Everyone spoke perfect English but I felt it my responsibility to speak German. Only small complaint is the ash tray on the table. Seek out this special place!

A booking is encouraged while it is a popular restaurant... we managed a meal before the booking for the table was due. Well served and tasted good in a table in shadows !!

It has a traditional while trendy interior design. The beer is always crisp and fresh from Augustiner. Food never disappointed us, fair price but in good portion. Sometimes could be quite pack but the nice waitresses always help to get us some seats! The best is reserve a table before going for peak hours visiting! We always return there and still loving it 😍

Service was a little slow to begin, but dinner and dessert were both lovely. We sat outside as I was in my wheelchair and it wouldn't have gone inside. Staff were really friendly and perfect English.

Nice typical bavarian food in a pub-like ambiance. The prices are reasonable and the food was decent. The proceeds tables have hearing lights so you can stay out even when it's cool, that was very nice.

Nice local neighbourhood bar with a good selection of foot and drinking available. Staff were very friendly and helpful with ordering. Food was delicious, would definitely recommend the Schnitzel Wiener Art. Building does seem to block out mobile networks so ask for the WiFi when you arrive.

An absolute hidden gem! I was skeptical based on recent review but was hungry so decided to see for myself. Atmosphere was warm and cosy and I was immediately welcomed upon entry. I didn’t have a reservation but that didn’t seem to be an issue and I was seated promptly, the staff was also really accommodating even though it was super busy. The service I received from the staff was friendly and fast. I was informed they will do best with food but that is to be expected during busy lunch time. I had Cordon Blue and I have to say it was the best one I have ever had in Baveria and I have been here nearly 5 years. Highly recommend!
