The place is amazing by itself when you see that bot totally out of its “natural space” the sunset it’s INCREDIBLE during the summer and also there’s a lot of cool and pretty people hanging around, dont miss the small biergarten behind the bot where you can enjoy music performances and have pizzas and other yummy stuff to eat! Perfect place for a first date or just have a nice end of day with your buddies!

Unique place to eat, drink and hang out in Munich - inside a ship repurposed as a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available. There are separate eateries with Middle-eastern/Indian and Senegalese cuisine. Plus another one just for desserts.

Wow🥰 It’s a really unique place for drinks & dinner with live music session. You can find seats in the little forest or in the upper deck of ship where it’s the best to see the sunset! How cool!

Really cool location, full of quirky people. We got Glühwein and Münchner Spies with sweet mustard. It was snowing and we ate in the charming old one-propeller ship. Would recommend any time 👌👌👌

One of the best spot of Munich. I love it all seasons. But they need to put powerful heaters to 3rd floor, otherwise this floor is useless in winter term. Therefore capacity is 1/3 is lower in winter season. Don’t go there in Feb without rezervation

The old Utting is an old steamer, which used to carry penguins at the Ammersee, so that they didn’t have to swim so far. I made use of it several times. Nowadays the old Utting can be found in Munich. It is awesome, you can sit inside and have a fun night with some boat feeling there. Truly recommend. 🐧

Just an amazing place! Food, drinks, location. Reservation needed, as it gets quite full! A lot of different kind of food - local, African, burgers etc. Partially suitable for kids (maybe at the lower plattforms).

Love love love this place!!! Highly recommend to spend your evenings here when in Munich Food is great! So many options to choose from! Vegetarian friendly! Really nice vibe overall. Everything is paid by cash except drinks. So don't forget to bring cash with you. If you want to come a bigger group then reservation in advance would be great. There are generally live performances in the evening otherwise also the music is great here!

What a unique concept. You are on a boat on a bridge over the road. The atmosphere is chill, the food excellent and reasonably priced. The pizzas were really good.

Amazing bar/restaurant, an old boat installed over a local road offers great views over the city. The atmosphere is amazing. This is the spot where locals go to mingle.

It’s a really cool place. Don’t get me wrong. How could it not be with it being a steamer ship hoisted in the air, rebuilt and renovated to have a bar inside! We were just there in November of 2022, it was chilly but we sat outside with our glüwine to keep us warm. It’s a bit out of the way from the city center but we wanted to make the trip as we enjoy finding “off the beaten path” places. I’d suggest going there if you feel the same. The only issue we had was that we definitely did not feel welcome. The bar tenders were not very friendly to us (maybe because we didn’t speak German). We don’t normally like leaving reviews like this, and I would always like to mention this is the first time in Germany that we felt this way. Perhaps it was just an off day for the staff and next time we will try again.

Great place here in Munich and really a special atmosphere. But be careful the food places here close before the bar. Therefore at some point you might get hungry from the alcohol but won't be able to get food. In addition at some point you are not able to get your Pfand back instead you get kicked out (friendly kicked out). Soooo that's a bit annoying especially with the high Pfand they want.

Thats hard to describe, its a bar that is a boat over a bridge. A must have experience while in munich. The scenarium by night is a bit Tarantinos style. Beer with a regular munich price (4.5$ for 500ml), foods are ok, prices around 12$. Lots of vegetarian options.

5 stars for unique setting... but the food was so so. Maybe we just weren't in the mood to have no wait staff. This is a beer garden on a boat that was lifted onto an old railroad bridge. There are several food stands - quasi Indian, an African stand, pizza, and crepes. But when we went the crepes stand was shut. Seemed like a great place to drink with friends however! And the views were cool from the top of the boat.

Something unique in Munich. Best place to hangout with friends. Drinks are but costly but worth for the atmosphere and beautiful sunset view. It’s quite huge than how it looks from outside. You actually can sit inside the Engine room. Lovely place .. must visit at least once

A super unique Biergarten, definitely one to check out. They have events most nights. However the night we went there was supposed to be a dj but they didn't start playing or we couldn't find them at least. The different food options are nice.

It is a unique boat restaurant located on a bridge. It has live music & a great view . Must try if you are looking for a unique atmosphere & experience.

Super cool restaurant that's built in and around a boat on a bridge. Staff were very friendly and house-made drinks (like the hot chocolate) were quite good, unfortunately but a bit on the pricy side. The inside of the boat is also slightly chilly if you visit in the winter. Can't comment on the food, but imagine it would be nice to visit here in the summer when the patios are open.

Super nice place, the atmosphere is magical.🪷 It feels like on a short holiday here. 😎There are different concession stands, where you can find food for anyone from meat lovers to vegans.🤤 They have an attractive program with flea market and concerts. 👍🏼 The only negative thing is that it's super expensive 🙈 still a must go place in Munich 💝

Love everything about this place. A perfect place to hangout with your friends. The aura and vibe is simply awesome. There are multiple food stalls ..one has to go and get the food and drinks by themselves. Everything is self service.

Very cool place with lots of little stands of international food. Tried the African one, some rice and meet stew and it was delicious! You get your plate and then take it to a bench and enjoy! Recommended!
