Nice cocktail bar with great music. The part which aren't satisfied is that we dint get the food we ordered. After asking couple of times, the waiter finally said that the kitchen is closed! Though we ordered long ago! But the good part is that you don't need reservations here. We had to stand in queue for a while to get in.

The waitress literally tried to rip us off. Felt like she took advantage of us being foreigners. Charged us almost 10€ extra, didn’t bring the ticket to see each item. We paid with 10% tip, but asked for bill as it seemed too much. After the bill we asked for the refund, she made it reaaaally difficult and rude, at the end she gave back the money for the extra items she charged, but not enough of the tip back. Also all other (German) tables around us got a free shot when they paid, not us.

No reservation, got right in. The staff was very friendly. We came on Taco Tuesday = half priced tacos! My wife and I ordered a few to share along with chips and salsa. The food was really good but nothing to make us want to come back. Out of the 4 tacos we ordered, my wife liked 1 and I liked another. They were busy, neat environment but will not go out of our way to come here again.

Disappointed. We ordered chicken burrito and beef burrito. Chicken was forgotten and we asked do they have it in order they said yes and ran out for a smoke. After 15 min we again asked different waiter and she said no it was not in the order. I waited 1h more for chicken burrito. Taste related:bad but eatable. Sos that is in the plate and represent some Mexican sos please don't serve it, it is canned and super bad. Chicken burrito had no dressing at all. 13 EUR for something like that is a robbery. I am not coming back here.

Place looked empty when we arrived, but the first question they asked was without even a hello, was whether we had a reservation. The tone made it seem like they wouldn’t have let us in if we didn’t. Luckily we did but rather than sit us in the outdoor seating or near the front where several separate groups were seated, we were placed in the very back counter by ourselves. I understand social distancing, but we were literally the only people in the back while other groups enjoyed the fresh air. We would have been happy to show our vaccination status had they asked but it seems more anti foreigner. Drinks seemed pricy, even at happy hour prices but were pretty good. Waitress while very nice, did tell us all cocktails would be on happy hour but when delivering the bill said she was incorrect and one was full price. She did bring us some shots to make up for it, but would have preferred to spend the amount we thought we were going to spend. 5 stars for the music though.

Worst Sausalitos, 30 min to get a drink and 45 min to get some chicken nuggets ! We booked for 7:30, the waiter told us we have to leave at 9. Then it turned out he lied. OpenTable's reservation is valid only for 2 hours and half. It means the table have to be freed up after 2h30. But we have been told that one could mention how long to stay in the OpenTable reservation if you plan to stay at Sausalitos longer than 2 and half hours.

Really cool bar with great cocktails. The staff is very friendly and help to find the roght cocktail for everyone. Some are very strong. Prices are ok, sometimes there is happy hour for some cocktails.

Service was absolutely inattentive. Drinks overpriced and the food was super salty. Ordered a burrito: basically got a chicken wrap including French fries and a weird salad I did not touch. Bar staff needed several tries before I got their attention and were generally unfriendly and more occupied with playing on their phones vs paying attention to guests

Update: very nice parties on Saturday. Great place to have tasty mexican food and drink a nice cocktail. The restaurant is always full, make sure you reserve a table (preferably 2 days ahead). During weekdays, they have an offer for each day. The best is food Monday during which a collection of select platters are offered at half price, same huge quantity and mouth watering taste. Indulge yourself with drinks during their happy hour (from 5 to 8) during which a collection of cocktails is offered at a fixed price. Order the jumbo cocktail as the difference in size is not proportional to the difference in price.

This place has a fun vibe and friendly staff. The drinks are good (I recommend to get them during Happy Hour) and the food is really nice as well.

On Monday food is half the price! The environment and the music is really nice. There are a lot of different cocktails, and the food is quite good.

Probably the guards outside this Sausalitos work with the imigration department, you apparently need a hard copy of your passport and no other document to enter. Perhaps they also have a baggage policy? We were not allowed to enter cause we had no passport, we had other IDs and even a soft copy of the passport on the phone (cause let's be serious you do not take your passport with you to a bar) but the gatekeepers said 'no passport no entry'. Ridiculous!

I am giving it a one star and that is because there is no option to give this restaurant/bar a negative rating. The location is great because it's near the metro stop and very easy to access and find. Inside the location, it seems to be clean, atmosphere: has low lighting, it is loud but it is a restaurant/bar so it's expected. The staff was very nice, even though our waitress did make a mistake of ordering the wrong nachos (unless what we ate was REALLY what we saw on the menu and we pointed it to her) but she was also nice. There are rules that need to be followed due to COVID-19, one rule which really surprised me is that there is a 2 hour limit per table and sure enough a very nice waiter came by to tell us our time was up. The drink/cocktail selection is very varied, too big for my taste because your head spins and you tend to look at the menu a thousand times before you decide what you want to drink. I ordered a San Francisco because i was driving and my husband and friend ordered a Mezcal Mule which we thought would come as presented on menu but it was very far from it. My drink was 7.90 size small and other drinks/cocktails range from 9.90 to 15.00 euro 😱! My biggest issue with this place is the food. We ordered nachos and unfortunately our waitress brought us the wrong version of nachos, the nachos was basically tortilla chips thrown on a baking sheet, thrown in the microwave, with melted cheese which you can clearly taste that it was melted by microwave (it was dry microwave melted cheese) with chopped up onions and some peppers, for almost 9.00 euro a plate I think I ate better nachos from 7'11. It was a huge disappointment. Then I ordered the tamale (i was very surprised that they even had this option), yet again another disappointment, it wasn't a tamale, it was polenta, slapped on a dish with dry corn and little spicy peppers cut around it (i am guessing to give it a color). I think if the tamale can talk he would probably cuss out the cook for calling him tamale, the tamale was heated up in a microwave. My husband ordered a corn on a cob (Mexican street food), i kid you not, the corn was the size of my thumb and in the menu they have advertised it with french fries and it didn't come this way, it was extra, we think. I ordered tacos with carnitas, complete fail, it was basically chucks of fat with sauces which hid the flavor of the carnitas but that might be a good thing. As a Latin American who has lived in Mexico and around South America i felt some what embarrassed about the food. I thought to myself, "is this what many Bavarians think is Mexican food?". This is the biggest problem with big franchise chain restaurant/pubs, they definitely do not reflect the delicious REAL Mexican street food or it's cuisine. All in all it's a good place to have a couple of drinks maybe to be on the safe side order french fries and have a good time with your friends but PLEASE don't think this is Mexican food. Frida Kahlo is turning in her grave.

Located around the centre of the city, with great atmosphere and music. They have a large range of cocktails which tasted really good. The food is amazing and prima. I would have given 5 stars except that they didn't seem to attend to us on time when we seated. Nevertheless the waiters and waitresses are very nice and friendly.

I love this place. Food is great, drinks are amazing. A lil pricey though. Recommend coming during happy hour. And one day of the week they're having a special at the moment where selected dishes are half price aswell.

It's so sad that I'm still in this restaurant but I'm writing this review out of disappointment. Who says Asada taco and burrito but puts a cold cut roast beef slice in it? Shame for the chef and whoever allowed this to be served. Chicken bites dry, Burger bun dry on the bottom, hot wings are actually sweet, and if you say no jalapeños in your fries they don't care. The waitress can't smile or look alive. The food came in different timings for entire table... But the atmosphere is actually good. The music and the vibe are spot on. Overall terrible experience on our first night in Munich. Avoid this restaurant! Save your money for some place worth.

During my visit last week, my dining companion and I were initially seated at a small table near the entrance. Unfortunately, this table was unstable and made us feel uncomfortable. I kindly asked the waiter if we could be relocated to a more secure table inside, but our request was declined. I noticed that the lighting in the restaurant was insufficient for reading the menu comfortably. It hindered my dining experience and made it challenging to select my meal. Also, we encountered an issue with hanging our jackets. There was no proper space available at our assigned table, so I placed my jacket on a nearby table. However, the bartender approached me and requested that I remove the jacket from that table. I understand that the availability of space for hanging jackets may be limited, especially during the winter season when jackets tend to be bulkier. While there was a small hanging option at the small table we were initially seated at, it was not sufficient for hanging two jackets simultaneously. Regarding the food, it was satisfactory, although the preparation time was longer than expected and the portion sizes were smaller than desired. I also found the prices at Sausalitos to be on the higher side. The small and unstable table I was seated at proved to be quite inconvenient. It made it difficult to enjoy my meal and affected my overall comfort during my visit.

Good food and very live atmosphere (almost always filled) with refreshing menu of Mexican foods and reasonable happy hour. The only issue is that if you drink their coctails there's a chance you get headaches next morning (this is based on several experiences)!

Food (burrito Pollo) was tasty. Also had two soda’s. Point of improvement for staff. To be exactly the employee who did run the bar. He was eating at the bar at the moment we arrived. Did not make any movement and talked from there to us barely unhearable. We walked towards him and mentioned our reservation. We where told to pick a table, no smile or welcome. This has nothing todo with hospitality. Also he did not register out precense in opentable app. Did not like the ambiance anymore and fiinished our burrito quickly. Later this evening i recieved a no-show e-mail. Did report to Opentable that this is not correct.

Drinks tasted good, ordered magaritas and apparently the machine is down and the bartender couldn't stop laughing that the couldn't use the blender... Instead ordered two mojitos, they gave us the jumbo size which cost 14 Euro per without even asking and then insisted we pay for them.

Nice atmosphere on a Saturday night, we got right in and the music was nice. Cocktails are around 10€ which is ok, ambiance was cool and the place was nice: overall you wish it stayed open later then 2 am.

Big selection of well mixed cocktails for reasonable prices (at least during happy hour). However waiters aren't the most friendly to say it mildly (side dish got changed without asking or excuse besides "ordered option not available so kitchen changed it"). Considering the relatively high prices charged for food, I would recommend sticking with cocktails on the next visit.

Great location to enjoy the cocktails, especially in Happy Hour. Such a pity, that some great cocktails they didn’t have them any longer. The service was very friendly and they really take it seriously with COVID situation..

Food is okay, drinks/cocktails are the best they have. I just wish the music was either lower so people can talk. Or louder and install a dance floor. This in between is confusing

Good food, good cocktails, very friendly staff. And they are strict about entry only for vaccinated people, which is superb.

Favorite bar, and unlike the Tal location here you have tall ceilings and it's a bit better in terms of temperature. However, in summer you feel you will die if you stay inside for 1 hour, so book a table out if possible. Other than that, the staff is nice, the food is great and the drinks are so yummy!

  • 2/5 KAREN B. 2 years ago on Google
Happy hour ok, however I would not recommend the food. The tacos are simply not tasty. My recommendation is to make a proper research about how a real taco should taste.
