It is the church with the tallest brick tower in the entire world, it looks quite spectacular, especially in contrast to the rest of the surrounding buildings which are pretty low. On the inside there are currently some renovations done (2019.04.06), so one can’t really enjoy the inside as much.

This is the landmark of Landshut, and there are less chances of anyone missing it from any part of town centre. The church is made of bricks, and 2nd tallest brick structure in the world. As with most churches in Bavaria and to most of Germany, the architecture style is Gothic. It has got a huge crucifix hanging from the roof directly above the altar. For me it was the biggest indoor cross I had seen. It's a good time to see all through year around, and gives Landshut Town Centre a definitive face. It does go without saying that visiting the church during mass is not allowed. A must see place in Landshut.

Not the golden glitter of the usual Roman Catholic churches but nice stained glass... especially one of them depicting Hitler doing something terrible to Jesus Christ... I was told it was the workers subtle way of showing Hitler for the barbarian he was. (Upon entering the side entrance, turn immediately left, second window, right middle.)

Great church, sadly there are still scaffolding inside so you can't see the whole architecture of the building

Every gothic style church is unique, this one has very beautiful high vaulting and tall tower.

👍👍 The location of the parish church Heilig Blut zu Berg ob Landshut is in the Berg district. The church belongs to the diocese of Munich-Freising. From the point of view of today's church, the early wooden building is said to have been replaced by the first stone building around 1180. In the centuries...
