Wonderful hotel and close to the main square of Munich! We stayed at this hotel at the end of October of 2022. At that time there was lots of construction going on near the hotel but we were placed in a room where you couldn't hear any of the construction. The room was always clean and the sheets were changed daily. They did offer breakfast in the hotel but it was pricey, however, there was a lot of options to choose from for breakfast so definitely a good option if you didn't want to go have breakfast elsewhere. On our last day when we checked out the hotel offered to store our luggage until we were ready to leave for no extra cost. Would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Munich!

Amazing hotel! Super clean, great location, and very quiet. I am a light sleeper and this is by far one of the quietest hotels I have stayed in. It is on a busy street, but I cannot hear a sound. I also cannot hear any noise from residents above or next to me. The service here is incredible too — everyone working at the hotel has been so kind and has gone out of their way to help me have a positive experience in Munich. The price cannot be beat either and so I will definitely stay here next time I am in town. :)

The only thing that bothered me was that the cleaning lady just entered the room herself two times but the hotel is the best one I've been in. It's clean, it looks really nice and has enough facilities. It's great.

We stayed for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. Excellent value for money. The location is great, and the hotel is comfortable and clean. Everything you can expect from a three-star - and a bit more!

Stayed at Premier Inn Munich for part of our family vacation. Despite this hotel as advertising that there is AC in the rooms, the AC in our room did not work. We spoke with front desk 4 times last night and the only thing we were offered was ice water. No one even offered to check out the room to see if they could fix the problem and they had no other rooms to offer us or even a portable fan. Our room was 28 degrees C by night time and we couldn’t keep the windows open because it sits on a very noisy/busy street. Nonetheless, none of us were able to sleep for 3 days straight. This pretty much ruined our vacation. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend staying at this hotel.

A very clean and ideally located hotel in the heart of Munich. Walking distance to all the major sights. I only had to take an Uber to the Nymphenburg Palace. Highly recommend!

A perfect affordable hotel in the center of Munich. My first time staying at a Premier Inn hotel, and I was impressed by this hotel. The hotel is located 10 minutes away on foot from the train station, and just round the corner to the neuhauserstraße. Check in was quick and the reception staff were always very polite and helpful. I asked if I could have a room over looking the street, and the receptionist was very helpful to give me a room overlooking the street. Although the room was facing the street, the room was very quiet, thanks to the good double glassing windows. The room was 408, very spacious, super clean and a sofa next to the window. The décor of the room was very modern and new. The bed was very comfortable and finally I stayed at a hotel that actually had pillows the way I like them. The room was provided with an electric kettle and coffee and tea. The room felt comfortable and AC was also provided in the room. The bathroom was also very spacious, clean, a good sized shower, and the shower gel had a very beautiful smell. Breakfast was also good, and it consisted of bread, sweet pastries, ham, cheese and hot dished (scrambled eggs, sausages etc.). All in all it was a great experience staying at the Premier Inn. Thank you for your lovely hospitality.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very modern, nice rooms, triple glazed windows and huge, heavy doors mean for a silent sleep. Its in a great location with buses, trams and trains going from a few minutes walk away. Super easy walk through the shopping area to marienplatz also. Staff were great. I didn't try the breakfast but it looks decent enough. There's a coffee shop a few minutes walk away so we had breakfast there instead. My only issue was that the bar wasn't always staffed. It's supposedly 24/7 but sometimes the person on reception is also the bar staff, so if customers are at the desk, there's no bar service.

I am a regular guest in premier in chain be it in Europe or Middle East and I always face the same experience. The prices are good; the hotel is usually clean and new but the staff need mor training. They need to smile at check in, avoid skipping room house keeping, avoid noise in the corridor and so on. I think if those issues are resolved than this hotel could easily get a 5 stars review

Excellent location, good facilities and top-notch service. Also some welcome reminders of home (my sons were delighted to see bacon on the menu for breakfast 😋). In particular, the bar was really inviting, with a nice chilled atmosphere and faultless service. The beer (a local Munich brew, naturally) was fantastic 😍

Our stay was great! The hotel location is superb - really close to center and at the same time walking distance to bus and train stations. We’ve arrived early, but the lady on reception was nice and we got the room - it was great start of the trip on a rainy day. The room is comfy, warm and has kettle and cups. Would gladly stay again

Great British Hotel chain, Nice staff and centrally located. The restaurant was closed during our visit because of COVID. The UK hotels do an awesome English breakfast but not sure if they have that here when it is open fully, if we ever go back to Munich we will for sure be back!

I am currently in my 2nd day of stay at the hotel for the weekend. Already my stay is quite pleasant! First and foremost, the staff are all very friendly and helpful; you are greeted with smiles and good humour, everyone asks if you are being helped and you can see they are all working hard. Very professional. The rooms are spacious, chic and super clean. The tea and coffee station in the room is particularly helpful. Double bed is wide, sufficient towels and pillows, a hairdryer and there is temperature control for the room, which is very responsive. The windows also open so you can get fresh air when you need it. The hotel lounge is also quite spacious and chic; a very cool atmosphere to spend some time waiting. There is a bar and a coffee shop. The location is unbeatable -- 10mins from train station, city centre is right next door, many restaurants nearby. I would say the best value in Munich. I would definitely come again!

Great location, within walking distance to Marienplaz where most of the attractions are. Easy accessibility to train station and airport. Staff were really friendly and were decent for a good night rest.

First the positives- great location, chargeable parking available in underground car park, modern hotel, English speaking staff, rooms and public areas all nice and clean. Great rainfall shower with plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, thick curtains to keep room nice and dark for a great nights sleep (which we had every night), no noise heard from corridors or other rooms or from outside at night. Now the negatives- buffet breakfast was ok but not great. Plenty of choices for continental but hot food not so great. Streaky bacon was greasy, sausages only warm, and overcooked, beans cold, but scrambled egg however was hot and tasted good. Wouldn’t have breakfast here again though on this experience. Secondly, hotel does not serve meals in evening - only bar snacks, and only between 7 - 10pm. Food available to choose from included pizza, burgers or toasties… Lastly, vending machine did not take cards, coins only. All in all our stay was ok, no issues with our room or sleep quality, and we probably would stay again however the lack of restaurant and breakfast quality did obviously effect our rating of the hotel.

I found a good price for my stay here. The staff were kind and helpful and the room was very good for its price. The only unfortunate thing that ultimately was a genuine red flag was finding a bed bug.

The location is superb, the beds and extra firm pillows are very comfortable, the room size is adequate, clean, heating and soundproofing done well, the hot water shower is reliable and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Check in and out process is also a breeze. My third satisfactory stay in a Premier Inn hotel - other ones in Nuremberg and Hamburg which I'd highly recommend as well.

We stayed there last week and it was great. The rooms were clean and pleasant to stay. Breakfast was great and the staff was awesome especially Marco from the reception. He helped us a lot and gave us good tips about the city, where to eat and shop. We'll defiantly come back again

I really enjoyed my stay here. Fair prices, great quality hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet, modern and everything was working as expected. We also booked breakfast, it was well worth it! The food quality and choice was great, I will stay here again when I come to Munich.

Great price for location and quality of room (we booked far in advance). The front desk receptionist brought up a set of sheets herself, for us to use instead of the hot duvet. There is some construction going on in the building next door but we were located on the other side and did not hear any noise. There is a good higher end burger restaurant across the street with several house-made vegetarian options.

This hotel was overall great. The water temperature of the shower was great and consistent, the Wi-Fi was strong and consistent and the location is unbeatable. Steps away from all the action in the center and right next to 2 major transit stations to go anywhere else. Staff was also friendly and accommodating. Great value, great location. The only 2 "cons" I would have is that the rooms are not completely soundproof. I could hear someone above or next to me snore the entire night in a different room and people arguing occasionally. Also the bed quality is really not great the mattress caves in like an old pillow. Would definitely stay here in the future.

We have really enjoyed our stay at the Premier Inn Munich City. It is well located, close to public transport, shops, restaurants and the departure point for the hop on hop off tourist bus (Big Bus). We had the buffet breakfast each morning - the kids ate for free and there was a wonderful range of options and they were all delicious! The room was small but had everything we needed and was cleaned every day to a high standard. We highly recommend staying here.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel is very central, within walking distance of Marienplatz and located just around the corner from an underground station. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were pleasant and efficient. There is a comfortable bar and lounge area off the reception which serves coffee/snacks/ meals. The breakfast was good, although my son wished that cereals such as cornflakes or Rice Krispies were available or pancakes. The only thing we missed from the room was a safe for storing valuables such as passports etc. Thank you for a lovely stay in Munich and we will definitely return.

Stayed from Friday last week to Monday, myself and 3 friends - excellent lication for trams, trains, walking etc. The beds were very comfortable and what a fabulous team of staff whom are very knowledgeable of where to go and what to do. The two receptionists (Elen, and little asian looking lady, whose name I cannot remember - apologies) were wonderful with a nice warm welcome and good knowledge of the area and the host with the most Alexandros on the bar was very informative also and great humour and warm welcome. Would definately recommend staying here and very reasonable price wise also xx

Location is good, near the Karlsplatz. Value for money was good too, with quite big rooms. Quite clean. Check-in process was a bit slower than we're used to in the UK or other countries but I'm not sure if this is just standard for Germany. A couple of broken things (one lift out of order, plus our bathroom door was difficult to close) but nothing major.

Premier Inn lived up to expectations - good value for money in central Munich. We had a family room for 2 adults + 2 kids). Space was limited but no more so than in other Premier Inn locations in the UK. Room on high floor was quiet but air con was not very effective - we were lucky that late June temperature was only 22-23 degrees. However, location was excellent - easy walk to main train station / S-Bahn / central attractions etc.

I can't review the room, service or location as we have not been there yet. However, we made a reservation for specific dates and I have a copy of the reservation however the hotel has sent me an email but it has the wrong dates. I have tried to call the hotel numerous times at International rates but all I get is "high frequency of calls, call back later" and they hang up. There is no email to write and the website says to contact the hotel directly but there is no local number and no email. How the heck do I get a person to talk to so we can rectify the reservation?

I can't say enough amazing things about this hotel! The price and location to downtown Munich are absolutely unbeatable! My husband and I have stayed there twice, once in winter and once in summer, and were blown away each time. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the room is luxurious for an inexpensive price, and they have the best downstairs bar area with great seating and music each night making it a wonderful spot to hang out at the close of the evening. The breakfast is also delicious with a good variety of options for a fair price as well.

Air conditioning stopped working in middle of the night on a humid evening. Control panel was complex and all in German (which is understandable in Germany). Decided to sleep in but was disturbed when housekeeping (I hope) entered our room whilst my children were sleeping and my wife was in the bathroom. This happened again an hour later. Told reception whose response was a shrug and "Oh dear." Have tried to claim under 'good night guarantee' but email and follow up completely ignored despite an automated 'we will reply in ten days.'

You know what you are getting with a premier inn and this hotel didn’t disappoint. Excellent parking under the hotel which was really convenient. Rooms were clean and furnished as expected. The hotel is quiet and we both slept well. The bar was comfortable and a nice place for a quick drink. Munich is superb and this hotel is well positioned to walk into the town centre, definitely recommend for those looking for a good standard room at a reasonable price.

  • 4/5 KunBin C. 7 months ago on Google
It’s clean, simple, too simple: no refrigerator, no safe box, no water bottles, no any personal clean utensils in bathroom, just two cup; the air conditioning is weak, no air circulating in bathroom. Is it for eco, cost-down or different culture habits? Front desk services are good, but a tall guy with casual dresses in back office is impatient and rude while answering questions.

  • 5/5 Pankaj B. 2 years ago on Google
Great hotel to stay at a very reasonable rate. Good service! Hotel room and its bathroom is pretty large. Along with this things the location of the hotel is at the city center, which makes it easier to access most of the Innenstadt by walking.

  • 3/5 S S. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel is good as the reviews mentioned but I got the room (x28) at the back of the building. I thought it saved from traffic noice but still I got the noise disturbance from neighbors. It starts midnight until now still.. 6.30?? It's kind of after party some where in the right side of the hotel building. It's yesterday and today.. Thursday and Friday's night.

I`ve stayed in this hotel for one night during covid-19 in march 2021. everything was super tidy and clean, it`s very close to the city center but anyway very quite, also if its located to a big street. the staff was very friendly and the italian girl at the reception gave me a very warm welcome. highly recommend

Really enjoyed our stay and it was very very cheap (only $70 total after tax). The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Everything was modern and looked new.

The location of the hotel is very good. The receptionist wasn't very friendly and hardly communicated with us. Our room was small but nice and very quiet. The breakfast, unfortunately, wasn't worth the 12,5€. Some of the staff didn't speak any German.

First time in Munich and went for a trip through the brewery’s. For sure I slept well! The bed was amazing and the team at the front office even better! Thank you all for being my hosts. Wish everyone just the best till the next time.

Nice hotel staff. Unfortunately it seems the upper management decided to turn off the central heating after 10:30PM, so if it's cold outside you have to freeze (if you didn't heat up your room during day time). ❄️❄️❄️ Also, really loud construction noise next door.

Pretty good price/quality rate. - good ventilation system - good sound isolation - great cleaning service However - uncomfortable bed and pillows, short blankets

  • 5/5 Alex M. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice and clean hotel. They provide kettle with tea and coffee in your room. Very friendly staff. The only negative the bed is on small size. The location is super, you are close to everything you need, tram, underground and you can walk to central places. For a premier Inn is a bit expensive

  • 1/5 Heike L. 2 years ago on Google
If you call the customer service Germany or UK no one ever answers the phone! The plugs and hair dryer in our room didnt work. When we flagged the issue we were offered to change our room: so we had to move after 1 night with a six week old baby without any compensation - not even a free breakfast. When we told the receptionist Sunday morning about our disappointment he didnt care and agreed we could chose another hotel next time. Clearly there is no customer competency.

  • 5/5 Heather R. 1 year ago on Google
Nice, clean and comfortable room. Only slight criticism was that there was very little hanging space for clothes and no drawers or other storage for clothes. We really enjoyed our stay. All catering and reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Absolutely outstanding ! Could not recommend this hotel more. Great location, very friendly, helpful staff. Top quality. A relatively new hotel and everything is fresh, superbly furnished, immaculate. We got a very good deal on our stay, which probably helps with the perspective !!

  • 4/5 CrediFin I. 2 years ago on Google
Perfectly located, nice renovated sleeper rooms, good breakfast with more than ample choice. Not cheap, but quality-price ok by Munich standards. Pillows could be more comfortable though and the windows often don't close perfectly, but besides that the room was very comfy and had all the necessary amenities. Smooth service to say the least. Would highly recommend.

actually good hotel but i put 1 star only because Sindy from reception must to learn how to speak with clients she is very rude and not polite with customers, she even raised her voice at me

  • 5/5 Barry P. 1 year ago on Google
Very clean, modern, and great value. Nice bar area on ground floor too. Very good location, 10 minutes to main station and similar to the edge of the old town. I love the shower and I slept better here than in my own bed. Highly recommended.

  • 4/5 Max D. 1 year ago on Google
Clean, friendly and seems premium. The price is fair for the room. Breakfast is pricy but tasty (Buffet with free drinks (coffee, tea, juice, cacao))

  • 5/5 Katey B. 1 year ago on Google
Great location, easy to walk to the Old Town. Rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. Only cons are there is no refrigerator or laundry available. Would recommend.

  • 5/5 Tomáš . 1 year ago on Google
A great stay! Loved the room design and the staff was friendly ♥️ the highlight of my stay was, however, the showe 🚿 the overhead rain shower is exactly what you need in the morning

  • 4/5 Andy H. 1 year ago on Google
You know what you're going to get with Premier Inn hotels. The room was a little small but beds comfy, and bathroom excellent (as long as you like showers and don't require a bath). Breakfast had good hot and cold options, and decent coffee too. Bar was ok as well for a quick drink on site. Only negative was the entrance and surround off a busy road and some homelessness around when walking to the local transport options. Staff were really friendly, and multi-lingual too. I'd definitely consider it for another stay in Munich
