One of the best dinners I have ever had in Munich, every dish was super delicious, great vegetarian options, and to top it all the service was incredible, which made it all such a good experience, we already can’t wait to come back 😊

This is my date night go to and has been for years. We've tried other fine dining all around the city but nobody comes close to matching the quality for the price that Zauberberg offers week after week. With constantly changing menus and an amazing wait staff lead by the always joyful Claudia, this place is just hard to beat.

What a gem! This place is amazing. The staff are skilled and lovely. The food is delicious. Best part: there is only one menu. You do not have to decide but are still surprised by well thought through dishes, which are mouth wateringly good. I am definitively coming back

Zauberberg is a hidden gem in Munich. Although I live just few blocks away, I had never noticed this restaurant. Then on a random stroll I come across this restaurant Zauberberg which in English translates to magical mountain. The workday 3 course menu is worth the money, decently priced and yet not lacking any quality, makes it a steal. The service was top notch and on my trip the restaurant was a little quiet which for me was perfectly fine. The chef is not afraid of being creative and adds some surprise elements to the course. For example we were served a basil sorbet after the appetiser. And the desert course was spectacular as well.

This place for me is a giant contradiction. The food quality and freshness is very much apparent, the staff was excellent and very motivated to carry out their work, and yet the food was quite underwhelming. I had very little to no expectations because I hadn't reviewed the menu or reviews before going. It was more of a "wow 4.9 stars?" and the pictures looked excellent. But the food was ehh. With the exception of the Scallop, that was quite possibly one of the best flavored pieces of seafood I've had, easy top 5. Everything else was just alright. The pacing of the food was also pretty damn slow. I'd hate to be there on a date that wasn't going well ... would be torture. Also, I was still hungry afterward.

Fantastic food and even better service. Great wine pairing. Do not underestimate the potato bread!

Restaurant Zauberberg is fine dining in a warm, intimate space. We selected the three-course menu but were in fact given two additional dishes. Claudia’s wine recommendations based on our palate preferences were spot on. The young man who waited on us was charming and courteous. These were the only two attending tables yet our courses were served in a timely manner. Surprisingly, the restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin star, but perhaps it’s better this way: the inventive menu is fairly priced. Go before more people discover this rare gem!

Absolutely stunning, ambience and service actually is at the level of the food, the chef knows what she's doing. We had a 5 course meal with the wine pairings, the amount of food was enough, the dishes beautifully served and conceptualised. This is a hidden gem and as of now my favourite restaurant in Munich. I am looking forward to the next time. Finally great food in Munich.

Mind blowing service.

We really enjoyed the dinner at Zauberberg. There were a few very creative ideas that were just spotted on (i.e. Basilikumsorbet and the dill oil in combination with soft fruits 😍). To make everything perfect, the staff/service (one of the best we have ever experienced).

Great food and amazing service! You pay for some number of dishes and they try to surprise you. Also there were some extra small dishes between main ones that were not counted:) Very friendly place. They did all possible to follow our needs: for example I do not eat onioun and prefer sea food and fish.

Exceptional food accompanied by marvelous service! simply a must-visit place in Munich! I will surely come back!
