Spied this on the map closest to my hotel, and decided to pop on for lunch. We were welcomed inside and the menu of the day was translated to us. The interior is very quaint and several adjustments were needed so that other patrons could maneuver about. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions of food are huge or typical American sized. I had a schnitzel, and my husband had the salmon. Upon leaving we were informed it was cash only and glad we had Euros on us, b/c it’s in a residential area, I’m not sure an ATM was near by.

Excellent service, food and interior design, which I have a very relaxing breakfast with my dog! The breakfast is very fresh and big! It is really costly with excellent quality! If you stay in Munich, I am sure it is one of the best choice! Thanks for the friendly service! My dog loves there very much too 💕💕 I am sure to come again!

Das Frühstückslokal ist ein schönes Beispiel wie positiv Social Media funktionieren kann. Warum? Nun, wir hatten die Wahl entweder in das total überfüllte Frühstücksrestaurant unseres Hotels zu gehen oder den Empfehlungen aus Google zu folgen und im Va bene zu frühstücken. Ob leckere warme Panini (Parma, Lachs etc.) oder ein reguläres Frühstück oder Rührei - alles war frisch und mit viel Hingabe zubereitet. Der Service ist auf demselben Niveau, nichts wirkt aufgesetzt. Va bene bedeutet in etwa In Ordnung. Hier war es mehr als nur ‚in Ordnung‘. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

A little gem✨ We visited this beautiful café the other day and left incredibly impressed and excited to be back. The atmosphere was so relaxing and peaceful, the food was fresh and extremely delicious and the service was at another level. Our waitress, Denisa couldn’t do enough to elevate our experience. She was attentive, thoughtful and incredibly friendly. We rate highly this little gem and can’t wait to visit again. Keep up the good work guys - it shows on every little detail!

Me and my friend were there one time when we went to Munich, We order cheese plates and coffees. The food there are really good and all the atmosphere is really peaceful, perfect to start your morning here! Would definitely go back if we have a plan to visit Munich again!

What a gem. Service was fantastic. The food was 🔥👌🏼, best I’ve had in Munich including some Michelin star places. Defiantly rely give it a try. Just bring cash cause they don’t take card.

This place was definitely my best experience in Munich. A small cozy cafe, delicious dishes that I will never forget to taste. The staff was very nice to us and really friendly, thank you for that. All dishes were on the table within 10 minutes. This place really seems like everyone here is doing their job with love 🙏🏻❤️

After a very long plane ride from USA we arrived in Munich and looking for a little cafe to enjoy some coffee and a little dessert. We came across Cafe Va Bene where we greeted by 2 ladies that invited us to come in and sit. This charming little cafe was exactly what we were looking for. I ordered an espresso and my friend a cappuccino. We asked for a recommendation of what to have that was a local favorite for a sweet treat to pick us up. The young woman suggested the apple cake which is made fresh on the premise and she was 100% on par. It was the most delicious apple cake we had ever had. We enjoyed our time at Cafe Va Bene and highly recommend you to patron this business!!

Wir waren zum Frühstücken da. Ein süßes Cafe mit sehr netten Bedienungen. Die Portionen waren wirklich reichlich und der Preis dafür auch angemessen. Da Frühstück wurde mit Liebe zubereitet und vorallem die selbstgemachten Kuchen waren super. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Klasse Lokal. Freundliches, aufmerksames und eingespieltes Personal. Das Frühstück wird hinter der kleinen Theke komplett zubereitet. Aber man rie hat es im Lokal kaum. Das kleine Lokal war voll, aber das Personal blieb ruhig und organisiert. und angerichtet ist das Essen auch noch super. Gern wieder!

Personnel was really welcoming. I ate an spaghetti there. the portions are good. I tried lamb chops and it was good too. The salad dressing was amazing.

Great cafe with delicious homemade cakes, fresh pastas and other dishes. The staff are lovely and the prices are very reasonable. The patio is nice and large for enjoying a meal outside.

Fantastic place. We ate here a couple of times. Breakfast was excellent as were afternoon coffee and cakes. The staff were fantastic and really helpful.

Really nice place. Sadly I had to take a star away for them not to accept cards, only money. No bill was presented, what also was a little bit annoying, seems like they want to avoid taxes, which is a no-no. But the brunch options are great, cappuccino is also lovely made, and the cakes are delicious!

The yogurt and smoothie each have a great mix of assorted fruits. The bread is delicious. Server was very friendly. I thought the scrambled eggs were okay, a bit overcooked. Wife's fried eggs looked better. Would love to come back next time I'm in Munich.

The menu offers a wide variety of choices. Food there is quite fresh and tasty on its own. My boyfriend and I have been there a number of times and when it comes to the service, I have dropped my knife several times by accident and they have immediately offered me a new one. I recommend starting the day with fresh good and a good does of energy.
