Unpleasant experiences with the staff upon arrival and departure. The room is of decent size, but a lot of things are missing, such as a place to hang a towel either in or out of the shower. Definitely not worth the money.

I stayed here for several nights with some family members and I would not recommend this place to others. There were a lot of issues that I found a hard time looking past… First, the bathroom situation is terrible. There’s no actual enclosed bathroom, it’s basically just the hallway into the room. The shower is glass-walled and totally out in the open, save for frosted glass from neck to ankles. In a situation staying with family members, there was practically no privacy and it was very uncomfortable for a situation with family/mixed genders. Additionally, the pillows on the bed are bad. They’re the kind that look really fluffy but as soon as you lay your head down, all the fluff moves and your head has no support. I was also really displeased the housekeeping. They came everyday, and I always came back to my belongings moved around. I understand needing to move something off the bed to be able to re-make the bed, but I would come back to my belongings on the shelf re-arranged, which made me pretty uncomfortable that they were touching my things (ex: collecting all of my makeup and putting it into one corner). They also never gave us enough towels (ex: would take away 3 dirty towels, but only replace with one clean one). They also always unplugged anything in the outlets, which I assume is to save power, but it was frustrating if I left my laptop plugged in to charge all day or to update and came back to it not fully charged. We also had two separate instances of having a random item from our suitcase being wet, and we could not possibly figure out why. It was in two separate suitcases, different days, and opposite sides of the room. No spills, no discernible leaks, no wet towels nearby, just random wet clothes for no reason. Really makes me wonder what housekeeping is doing in there while we’re out. They have a bar downstairs in the lobby, but they don’t have a proper bartender working it, rather the front desk staff doubles to make the drinks. The drinks were not impressive, and the person had to pull up the recipe on their phone to make it for me. If there’s a bar, would have preferred to have a proper bartender. I didn't use the fitness facilities, but was told by my family members that it was not an ideal set-up. They said that the equipment that's there was more aesthetic than functional, and was super small. This is a smaller grievance, but they only provide shampoo and no conditioner in the bathroom. Makes a huge difference for me as a carry-on traveler to have conditioner provided. Another more minor thing, but it’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the nearest U-bahn station, and I think if I were to re-book in Munich again, I’d want to be a lot closer to a train line (more like 2 minutes walking max). Makes a big difference, especially if you’re getting around with luggage! All in all, I would not recommend. For me, the bathroom situation combined with the housekeeping/wet clothes issues just makes this place no practical at all.

Great stay for one night in Munich. Got a free upgrade to a suite and it was nice. Great bathroom with nice sinks, soaking tub and shower room. Hotel had a sauna which was nice. Got free waters, perfume, and candy too. Hotel is close to a lot of restaurants, grocery stores and the train. Would def stay here again.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Schwabing. Great location near the U-Bahn stop and very modern room. Probably the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever had in a hotel. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I like how I got a 5 euro credit (at the bar) for not needing my room cleaned for a two-night stay. Only thing that I feel is a let-down for a premium hotel is no in-room coffee maker or kettle. Add a Nespresso machine and it is 5/5 all day.

Your staff was excellent. Eager to assist and problem solve. Overall, I enjoyed our 3 week stay with you. My comments are a way to make it even better! Loved the gym too.

Wonderful modern hotel in a great location - walk to the Englischer Garten (a must, but especially if you have kids) and walk or easy U-bahn ride to Marienplatz, Isartor, etc. We would stay again!

Cool new object with small but causy sauna and woody equipment gym. Like the simple furniture's concept, a bot Japanism minimalism but well thought. Located in packed with restaurants district. Walking distance to few very good eating spots. Next to U-ban station and bust stop. You should enjoy it!

An excellent stay for a great price! The sauna was lovely, but the jacuzzi was a bit cool. Quality design and extra friendly staff!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable facilities, helpful and friendly staff, super clean rooms. They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade and a nice welcome gift which made it all the more special for our first time in Munich and honeymoon. We appreciated the personal touch. Thank you for accommodating our questions before we arrived as well as request for changes!

Hotel is in a good location in Munich. Close to some nice restaurants. Also walking distance to Marienplatz (30 minutes) and close to the underground station. We stayed as a family of 4 for 2 nights. There is a parking garage which costs 25 Euro per day, on street parking is tricky. Rooms were clean in a modern style, staff friendly and helpful. There is a small hot tub. Breakfast is not included, it was 16 euros for adults and 8 for kids. Breakfast was ok, but there are good cafes nearby as well. Overall nice for a couple of nights good location close to the English Garden.

Loved our stay at your hotel. The design is awesome and very smart - I am an architect and I am very impressed and learned a lot while staying there on some of the good ideas employed to make a relatively small room into a very well functioning space.

First the highs. Good location near the U-Bahn and lots of good food options within walking. The rooms are modern and the lobby has a small child you section. Now for the actual hotel... The room was quite small for a "family room". It is actually fairly generous for a standard room, but small with no privacy when two twin mattress are literally placed on the floor in the family setup. The bathroom situation is odd,. With separate non-locking toilet and shower glass stalls straight off the entry hall. There was also not a separate light switch for the bathroom stalls. If a family member needs to use the toilet in the middle of the night. They must do so in the dark, or turn on the only light switch in the bathroom area, which is the main light switch turning on every light in the apartment. I feel this is more into the nitpick catagory, but the pillows are incredibly uncomfortable and the "spa" was minimal with an odd and small gym, a decent sauna, and a turned off jacuzzi. In all, I would not recommend for families.

We visited the hotel in June as s family to visit friends in Munich. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The cleanliness, the friendly staff, the attention to detail and the extremely clever use of space, which meant the hotel offered fantastic facilities throughout. Our little boy could play and explore. The whirlpool kept him entertained for hours due to him being a total water baby. The breakfast caters for everyone with plenty of continental options. We sometimes spent over an hour in the restaurant enjoying breakfast together with other patrons. The hotel felt like it was ours to enjoy, no restrictions or warnings, just the chance to relax and feel welcomed all the time. Being located so centrally we explored all over the city and visited many greats places to eat and shop. Because the hotel had a car park we were able to park there and drive out to the mountains and lakes just an hour out of the city. We had a truly wonderful break as a family and this is down to the relaxed nature of the hotel and all of its facilities. Thanks to Christophe, Nick and Sadie for all their kind words and consideration. We will certainly be coming back and recommending highly to friends and family visiting Munich.

Basic but nice rooms with updated bath at a fair price. Had no idea there was a jacuzzi until we checked out. Didn’t do breakfast, 16€ seemed a bit pricey.

On the whole a satisfactory experience in a hotel that met most of my expectations. Just a few small details marred the experience, and I mention them only in the hope that you can raise a good to an excellent experience: 1. We enjoyed the 12pm check out time and meant to take full advantage of it. However, on returning to our room at 11.45 we had been locked out. 2. We were told the jacuzzi was available 24 hours, but found this was not the case at 11am on check out day 3. The bedroom lighting is needlessly complicated.

Staff is super friendly, very responsive and helpful. Great breakfast, coffee & tea selection. The rooms have great space, very large bathroom in the suite , heated bathroom floors great for Florida people, appreciated the vanity mirror and hair dryer, sensible decor, stocked well with amenities, and toiletries. Has a bar downstairs in the reception area 24/7 and even bicycles for leisure sightseeing.

Beautiful hotel, discount will be applied to breakfast or bicycle rentals each day you opt to not have room upkeep. The hotel is only a few blocks from the English Garden and close to the train system. Only pitfall is the gym which seems to have gone more for style than practicality.

I thoroughly enjoyed your hotel and staff, mostly because it gave you a real European feel with modern amenities. I would consider this a boutique hotel in a very well established area of the city, close to public transportation for quick access points. A large variety of dining options within walking distance, all reasonably priced and highly rated. I would definitely recommend this establishment for the location (which is prime) for all business and/or pleasure travel. Thank you for the friendly service and fine establishment during my stay in Munich.

Excellent design and superior service! I loved the hip recommendations for a great time in Munich! I loved the hot tub and sauna as well. The rooms are so well designed for being so small - all the essentials are there for a great weekend!

Great hotel. Service was good. Nice attention to little details. Simple, clean and modern. No fuss. Would be nice to have bottled water in the room, I had to keep going to the supermarket nearby, but I got a free bottle when I checked out which was nice.

Great little hotel in a nice district of Munich. Great location, close to shopping and not far from the English garden park. Very modern and trendy, small rooms but very comfortable. Good breakfast buffet, costs extra but worth it. Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Good English for non Germans.
