El mirador was a very beautiful scenery. What you need to be prepared for is doing lots and lots walking going down the hills to reach the waterfall and then making your way up the hills to to leave. Bring lots of water and comfy shoes.

It looks like a paradise in the middle of this canyon. There are warm and cold water springs right next to each, so you could technically take a shower. Its even possible to bath and take a swim. At some points the water is enough deep to dive in, but check before!

It's a good trek, we enjoyed it, the view of the cañon's landscape was pretty pleasing. The waterfall was slim, still it was a nice experience.

Worthwhile hike to El Vergel including a visit to the dinosaur footprints, the viewpoint and the walk down into the canyon. It is possible to take a bath on the natural pools at the side of a waterfall. Remember that after that, you will have to climb the 970 steps back to the parking lot. Take water bottles and snacks as there is nowhere to buy anything.

The tourists posed on the cute little bridge. We did the entire canyon!
