We stayed 3 nights in Autumn 2023. Family of four with 3 & 8 year olds. The hotel is impeccably clean and well designed. Our room had a small but well functioned kitchen to cook breakfast and late night meals for our children. We find this especially helpful for family with kids. We also made good use of the fitness center, the laundry, and the lounge area (for coffee and for my kid's homework). The staff are very service oriented and had attended to every one of our needs. I'd like to make a special thank you mention to front office Ms.Kyoko for her help with our inquiries in regard to airport transportation. Her response was efficient, precise, and with a friendly touch. Top notch service indeed. We got to the airport safety despite the rain. Thank you and we look forward to stay again with your establishment.

Spacious rooms. Very clean. Lots of amenities such as a gym, laundry, a kids play area, a restaurant and a bar downstairs. There is also a food hall attached to the hotel. The location is pretty central to multiple areas you want to see in Osaka. 7 minute walk to the nearest station. Staff is friendly and helpful and very accommodating. My room had a stove, a fridge and a table. It was very good value. I overall thought it was a very very nice hotel especially for the price I paid. Lots of elevators available as well.

Having stayed in a number of hotels in Japan, I can say this was this best hotel we visited. We arrived to be greeted by staff that spoke fluent English and were quickly and efficiently processed! Our room was located on the sixth floor and was a very generous sized room with a fabulously modern and chic styling. Our room was very close to the residents lounge, where a fantastic coffee machine, drink dispenser, filtered water, cutlery and plates and an ice making machine were available. In terms of location, the hotel was a 2 minute walk to Namba train station and a 5 minute walk to Dontonburi, and all the restaurants! Thank you Osaka Citadines! We really enjoyed our stay!

Newly opened and very well designed rooms. Stayed as a young family and the children enjoyed the small indoor playground. Comes with a well equipped gym which I used. There is a common lounge for residents to use any time. Breakfast was decent and has a good spread of Japanese and western dishes. Japanese dishes. Highly recommend

The one bedroom double room was very quite and comfortable. Everything in the hotel was clean and fresh. The equipment in the room, eg washing machine, fridge and the microwave were very functional and handy. I really felt at home in the middle of the exciting, full of life Osaka city.

We have enjoyed our stay at Citadines a lot! The room is clean and spacious, and have the amenities that we need. There is even microwave, plate and some cutlery. There is a playroom for kids, gym, residents lounge ( which has some sofas and a simple but free coffee machine). The front desk staff are helpful and speak fluent English. The location is great, with few minutes walk to stations, market and popular restaurants. It’s also special knowing that the building has been turned into hotel use , from the department store Takashiyama before war. We wish our stay could be longer !

Nice place to stay while in Osaka. Spacious rooms and good facilities. We stayed twice in 2 different rooms, the double room one had little kitchen in it (with stove and sink and Balmuda oven), the other only have microwave. You cannot have early check in if your flight is a bit early but you can leave luggage and come back for check in later. Only one thing we found not okay is the service from Japanese guys at the reception, other staffs in reception and room service were nice.

Rooms are nice and comparable bigger than standard hotel rooms in City but found a lot of dust on top of shelves causing me a bit a of an allergic reaction. On the breakfast quote disappointing not worth booking it, by 9:30 buffet is empty nothing gets replenished and choices were poor . Location is great very walkable , the property has a nice feel to it but gym is tiny way too small, a little nice addition are the self service laundry and the communal room with free coffe. Overall was ok , staff friendly and helpful. A bit on the pricy side overall for what you get.

One of the nicer hotels I've been to in Japan, the rooms came with a lot of amenities, the lounge was very nice and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I hid some unopened ice cream in the lounge freezer when I left too so hopefully someone enjoys that. The location is also very close to good shopping and food. Would recommend.

I stayed here for 4 nights and it was great. The location was very convenient to a lot of places. I was on the floor with the lounge, so it was easy to get good coffee whenever I wanted. Also wanted to thank the lady that was working the front desk who talked to me about visiting Nara . Even though my Japanese speaking isn't that good, she talked to me in basic Japanese and I had a good conversation with her.

This hotel is fantastic. It is highly recommended. I stayed in Junior Room 1queen bed. There are a lots of space, washer, dryer, microwave, and full size refrigerator. Bedroom and the kitchen/living room are separate. There are separate glass door between shower room and restroom. This room was good for two, but it will be ok with a small child. Bathtub is the soaking tub, and room was very clean. There are one tv in living room, and one is in the bedroom, maybe it’s good if you carry the fire stick or Apple TV to watch different channels. Location: hotel is little bit away from the crowded busy area. Around the hotel, there are many convenience store, and it is walking distance to Namba station, Daiso, Don qujote and many food places . I recommend to carry a copy of passport because there are many store offer the Tax free if you are visiting from foreign country. I used Uber a lot. Very easy to hop on the Uber in front of the hotel and can go places easy. From this hotel to Osaka station is about 3000yen..Hotel workers are very professional, kind and Great service. At hotel, I sent two suitcases to next hotel in Tokyo. It was about 4500yen. I didn’t want to carry big luggages when I used Shinkansen. If you send luggage to next destination , it will usually get there by next day. I will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel by a Singapore brand. Front desk service staff were excellent, going the extra mile to help with my damage luggage claims from Yamato. Guest Recreation room was also comfortable with free coffee and tea. Rooms were comfortable and came with a fridge and microwave oven. Great for recharge after a whole day of shopping and exploring Osaka! Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend this place.

Fantastic hotel. Spacious, comfortable and very cleaned bedroom with a nice modern decoration. They also have a kind of public dining/living room with cutlery, dishes, microwave, fridge where you can have a free coffee or tea and there’s also an area with tables and sofas to rest or relax. We really liked this place and it’s very nice from them to provide it Service was also very nice and receptionists were very kind. Location was also very convinient, walk distance from the main touristic places such as dotombori and very close to a metro station. If we come back to Osaka, we will definitely come back to this hotel

I pleasantly enjoyed the lobby setup, simple modern classy. Room is very clean & nice, best of all bed & pillows is so comfortable. Front desk staff are all so friendly and helpful, especially TERRY. He was so approachable & extended above & beyond to assist me without asking. I was not feeling well & needed to visit clinic and he assisted me with directions & went out to flag taxi in order to speak japanese to driver on direction, unfortunately 2 taxi driver refuse to pick me & Terry waited & flag down 3rd driver who picked me up. Thanks to Terry his service was excellent and fantastic. Most other hotel service staff would not extend services like what I experienced. Citadines staff are all so helpful & friendly, Roy and Ricardo in front desk are also very friendly & provide excellent services. I would definitely stay here again when I m in Osaka.

Rooms are very generous size especially for Japan standards. Bathroom was neat , tidy and clean. Staff were very accomodation with storing luggage on our last day and even putting medication in the fridge for me. There were some neighbouring construction noises next door but they started around 9/10am so didn’t cause too much disruption to us. Very close to train station and Dotombori area.

Loved this hotel! Location was perfect for walking to markets, etc. Kyoka provided incredible customer service to us, going out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of and she has the best smile! Will definitely come back and stay here.

Nice hotel located very close to Dotonburi, Osaka’s primary foodie destination! Rooms were clean, comfortable and decently sized. Only downside was occasional noise from adjoining rooms. We really enjoyed our stay here, would recommend!

Excellent modern hotel in Osaka. Smallish but thoughtful, well-designed room. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Superb walkability to many districts. Relatively close to train and subway stations. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 4 nights in early September. The room was clean, big and had high ceilings. Location was good, within walking distance to Namba City and Namba Parks as well as Namba Station (about 10min speed walk). Staff were excellent. Ellie and Aashish deserve special mention. Ellie made us feel very welcomed when we checked in - like chatting with a friend. Aashish assisted us with luggage forwarding and was very kind. Overall, a great stay and I will recommend this hotel to anyone who asks :)

Nice hotel in the heart of Namba district. Easy walking distance to some tourist attractions, shopping, and the Namba train station. The hotel itself is quite large and the rooms are on the bigger side compared to other hotels in Japan. There is a self-service laundrette on the 5th floor, which was popular. The machines are auto dispensing laundry liquid. The staff were efficient and helpful with queries. All-in-all, this property met our needs and would return again.

Really comfortable serviced apartment with extremely comfortable beds and pillows after sleeping with flat Japanese hotel pillows for more than a week! Rooms were huge and very comfortable, with a microwave in the room as well. We stayed here during my partner’s birthday and they gave us coupons for a free matcha cheesecake for the cafe which was 💯 as well! Overall enjoyed our stay very much and this is my partner’s favourite accommodation in the whole of Japan =)

We really enjoyed our stay here a month ago, but unfortunately we had one designer belt missing from our luggage. We packed this the night before we checked out, so we can get a luggage transfer to our next hotel. But when we arrived and looked for the belt, it was not there. It's hard to say which hotel was responsible, but this is more of a warning for other holiday goers to beware of this and possibly take valuables with you.

We had a lovely stay at Citadines. We were upgraded upon arrival to a one bedroom apartment. The room was very clean and all appliances and amenities were in good condition. The hotel is very spacious and the hotel building feels very luxury. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Hotel is in a great location and walking distance to a couple of train/metro stations and the Dotonbori area. I would really recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Citadines Namba Osaka and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we arrived early for check-in. They kept our luggage safe and recommended a nearby market to visit while we waited. We were even able to check in earlier than the scheduled time. The family room we booked was really spacious, and we appreciated the humidifier provided in the room. One feature that stood out to us was the mirror above the sink that had a warmer to prevent it from fogging up during showers - a small but impressive touch. We also liked that we could connect an HDMI cable to the TV to watch shows from our laptop. In addition, they had eight laundry machines and dryers that we enjoyed utilizing during our stay. On the day of our check-out, the process was relatively fast despite the queue. The staff also allowed us to keep our luggage with them while we had lunch before moving on to our next destination. They even helped us book a taxi to our next location. The only area for improvement would be to provide more amenities in the lobby, especially during the winter season. They only had basic items like razors, a vanity kit, comb, and toothbrush/toothpaste. It would have been nice to have cream or other items available as well. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Citadines Namba Osaka and would highly recommend it. The staff were attentive and the facilities were great, including the laundry machines and dryers.

This hotel is beautiful, clean, large rooms, very nice vibe, and close to various all the food options and subway stations! Highly highly recommended. The front desk Yoshiae even helped us book buses which was extremely helpful since we cannot speak Japanese. Great service!

Great location, about 150m from Namba which is a famous tourist spot. There is a Lawson convenience store just next to the hotel which is open 24 hours. Rooms are nice size with a small kitchenette and a huge fridge (service apartments). Staff are quite good with English and they are very helpful.

Outside the hotel is just a normal classical building, in the hotel lobby is full of artistic display of items. I love the art pieces in this hotel especially those on the walk way and in the room. This hotel is less than 8 storeys tall, and I enjoy watching the floor indicator outside the lift, it's the pointer type. Yes I do enjoy staying in this hotel.

Very good hotel in Osaka. Especially for the price we got for 2 rooms. The highlight is the size of the room. They are pretty big for Japan and ours had also a very big Japanese bathroom that was awesome. The rooms themselves are quite generic and you can find the same in other countries. Even if we did not use it, we liked that there was a small kitchenette and a proper table. The hotel itself is massive and impersonal. Location is OK if you want to explore Namba but it is not near any subway or train station so be prepared to walk quite a bit. There are many eateries nearby and you are just at a 10 min walk from Dontonbori. Overall a good hotel.

Very far from the train station . The staff was friendly and spoke English. All though it’s quite far from the station, it’s close to the shopping mall across the street which is very nice. There is a lot to do there. There is also a lot of great restaurants in between. Laundry room was very nice. 300 yen for the washer and 100 yen for the dryer both up to 5kg which is easily a full load. The washer automatically puts soap in with the clothes so you don’t need to put anything in besides the money. Compared to other hotels which were charging 400 yen per shirt, this was a god send. But you need to dry it twice for your clothes to actually be dry. There is a kids play area next to the laundry room with a ball pit. Thought that was neat not that I used it. We also got to check in at 2pm

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights in Jan 2024, and my friend stayed in another room down the hall. Both of us loved the hotel. It was conveniently located in Osaka, common spaces are nicely renovated, the lounge with (good) coffee was nice. The room was spacious and comfortably decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend this to others visiting!
