hotel is great; not the best location tho as it’s in between the more interesting areas but it’s right next to the metro stop and a few min walk to buses. good rooms, good bathrooms, great front desk service. they’ll allow you store bags early or pick up after checkout. good AC, good showers. right across from a 7-11. for the access to the great osaka transport system and the quality of the rooms the price is a good value. recommended if you don’t mind traveling around the city to see the sites; it’s in the business district which is also close to the castle and the im river but the action is everywhere else. still, recommended.

I would give 10 stars if I could. For what I paid, the room we got far exceeded my expectations, the shower/bathtub especially was a standout. There was plenty of space for us in the room. Very handy location right next to subway station and opposite 7-11 and Lawsons. Staff did a great job cleaning the room and one day when we requested for the room not to be cleaned, they even left us a box of towels, coffee, tea, slipper by our room door. Reception staff was always friendly and helpful, we will stay here again when we come back to Osaka. Thank you for making our stay in Osaka memorable.

Brighton's rooms are a terrific size for its price, and its washrooms are similarly excellent in this way. The location is close to many of the good subway stations. I will say that we had a poor experience with its communal laundry services. There are 4 machines total in the hotel. As is the case with most communal laundry services, there will be people who keep their laundry in the machine long after everything is already dry, preventing anyone else from using the service. When we asked the front desk if there was a bag we could use to remove the previous person's load and keep it on top of the machine instead, they refused and instead advised that we should leave all the clothing articles inside instead. Previous hotels we've stayed at had policies in place where if clothes were left in for more than 10 minutes, staff would remove the clothes and store them in a bag at the front desk, which is more than reasonable. At Brighton, the finished laundry stayed in place for more than an hour, with us giving up on checking it after that point in time. This, along with other other interactions with receptions, gave a bit of a sour impression of the customer service at the hotel, as people did not seem flexible.

Our room was clean and modern and extremely spacious for a Japanese hotel - there was almost room for an additional bed in our room and the bathroom has both a shower and tub. Based on our short visit, the location was okay, but could definitely be more central. It's only a couple blocks away from several metro stations though, so getting around is easy. Check-out is at 11am which is a bit early in my opinion, but they'll hold your bags for you.

A great hotel to stay in Osaka. The rooms are very clean and there’s even a laundromat service. However, there are only 4 washing machines in the hotel and it will tend to get crowded. The hotel is well situated, it being walking distances from restaurants and a few subway stations. There is also a Seven Eleven and a Lawson right in front of the hotel. If you don’t feel like eating out, there is the Dukeya restaurant on the main floor that sells great food at a low price. They are closed on weekends unfortunately, except for breakfast. Overall a nice experience and a hotel worth booking.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Hotel is near Kitahama Station. Able to get to the hotel via the underpass to the building next to it. There is a supermarket at the building as well! Hotel also provided bottled water for free which I greatly appreciate! 7-11 directly opposite too. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Room was spacious enough for 2 luggages and many shopping bags 😆 Although the toilet is small but it came with a bathtub! The closet is kind of useless as the bar to hang clothes is too shallow. Room also came with a Sharp humidifier/air purifier. There are washing machines in the hotel but I didn't not use them as they were always occupied. I went to a nearby coin laundry instead, fast and good. As I did luggage delivery from Kyoto to Osaka, my luggages were already in my room when I checked in, so kind of the staff to do that! Will highly recommend to others to stay here as its worth the money!

Stayed here for our honeymoon. Beautiful place. Good spacious rooms with friendly staff. The breakfast is a bit limited (only two options) and the English option was basically a Chicken Caesar salad. Better to find locally sourced breakfast.

I have stayed for 4 nights. The bedrooms and bathrooms are bigger than most other hotels at this price range (€60-100 per night). The staff is friendly and will clean up neatly everyday. They also leave you water bottles everyday in your room for free! Few markets are less than a minute away from the hotel. Only downside: it's a bit far away from the main metro or train lines.

Serviceable, clean, and with friendly staff. The best virtue of this hotel is the location, which is centrally convenient, close to transportation and convenience stores, and in a quiet neighborhood. Room layouts are typical of Japan, but a bit quirky for Western expectations: you'll need to climb over the bed to get to one side of your double mattress. Not the most luxurious stay ever, but very comfortable and pleasant.

This hotel made our stay in Osaka very enjoyable. It’s in a great part of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from main subway stations. The Seven Eleven right across the street is handy. Our room was spacious enough to open our suitcases (unlike our room in Tokyo!) and the laundry facilities worked great. Great bathtub and shower, nice decor, quiet rooms. We recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Osaka!

Good hotel with great service and reasonable price. The room is spacious compared to other Japanese hotels. They serve free bottle water at lobby floor. It is located near by subway station(kitahama)

Great location. 1 min walk from station so catching train for umeda sky building (2 stops) , station or anywhere was just so easy. Just walk to the right after coming out of hotel and as the road ends there is a staircase which leads to the station. The staff is great service is great view from window is great, there is 7-11 and Lawson in case you wish to grab snacks for the trip. If in Osaka this will be one of the best places to stay

Best hotel we stayed in Japan and the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The bed and pillows were so comfortable allowing us to rest after a busy day. The amenities were nice and I especially enjoyed the shampoo and conditioner. I would stay here again and would recommend for others as well. Hotel is a few minutes walking to the train stations. Overall, we loved our stay here and were sad to leave. Can’t say enough nice things about our stay.

There were pros and cons for this hotels, some of the pros: for the cheap price, it has pretty nice amenities, 2 laundry areas, nice bathroom, decent room, friendly staff, nice lobby area, etc. The cons: the room was pretty small and the bed was only a double, the beds were a bit hard, bathroom was also small although it was still nice and clean. Overall, it wasn't as good as the other places we stayed but still really nice especially for the price we paid. Would recommend

We stayed there 6 nights. It's very convenient because opposite hotel is 7-11 and Lawson. Supermarket and train station just 400 meters away. Con is hotel don't provide shower cap and no body lotion. The rest is perfect. The floor I stayed had vending machine and washing machine. They also have water bottle for you to grab whenever you want.

Kitahama is a few stops away from Namba. But the space in the room and their service would make up for it. The room is spacious compared to the usual hotels in Osaka. We can open two luggages at a time and can still walk freely. It is a business hotel so there is laundry and ice dispenser. The toilet is separated from the bath so the floor is not wet and the shower is outside the bathtub unlik the usual hotels. You can get the bottled water in the lobby. We always get two bottles whenever we’re leaving for the day.

Overall great experience! Front staff were very helpful and accommodating. When we wanted to ship our luggage to our next destination they were very helpful in doing so. Also close to Kitahama station and 15 minutes away from Dotonbori. Would highly recommend for your next visit to Osaka!

Great place to stay at! Staff were very kind, rooms were very clean, and breakfast was sooooo good. It was only $13 dollars per person where you can get unlimited rice and miso soup with a beautifully displayed bento. They also have water thats free displayed in front of the lobby. There was also a 7 11 across from the hotel so that was very convient for us. Overall, if I come back to Osaka I would definitely stay here. 😁😁👍👍👍

A nice spacious, apartment, located in a quiet neighborhood. It comes with a complete kitchen. There are several grocery stores nearby so you can eat breakfast in & have snacks in the evening. This place is not near any major attractions but accessible by train. It is situated between two train stations, a nice walk, except when you have luggage. The price is reasonable. I recommend this place and would stay here again.

It has been a great stay - the rooms are super clean and neat, small but comfy. It is a great location with both a 7/11 and Lawsons across the road for a quick trip. Close to Kitahama Station and about 1km from Yodoyabashi Station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the self-service washer / dryer machines are so helpful, especially when you can with limited clothing for an easy trip.

Awesome hotel! Friendly staff and very spacious (for Japan) and clean hotel. The hotel is in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle, but it was convenient to connect to most subway lines and coming in from other cities. Most attractions are not too far just 1 to 4 stops away. 2 convenient stores across the street doesn't urgent needs as well.

We're still staying here for a few more nights, and I'm already happy to give them 5 stars. It's the best hotel we have stayed during our 2 weeks of holiday in Japan. Great value for money, big room and bathroom, unlimited mineral water, close to station and shops. Super highly recommended 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 🌟

The location was good and the room size was comfortable, however, there were bed bugs in my room! I told management and they moved us to another room but it was not a pleasant experience. They should also improve their breakfast. They only had 2 choices for breakfast (Japanese style and Western style). For a guest who stayed there for more than 10 days like myself, I had to eat the same foods over and over again I got so sick of it.

Room sizes were satisfactory but we love their bathroom & the toilettries supply. Clean & tidy. Front desk staff can speak English well (that's a plus thing) & quite helpful. We like the location since across it was a 7-11 convenient store.

Very satisfied with my experience at Hotel Brighton City. It is very close to the subway station (~2 min walk) and has 7-Eleven and Lawson nearby. Not to mention, the room was very nice and well-equipped with a spacious bathroom/shower. They also had water bottles available in the lobby for all the guests staying there - adds a nice touch to the entire Brighton experience. Highly recommended!

I would say this is a typical business hotel. We stayed there as tourists and found it to be satisfactory for that purpose aswell. We found the staff friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would say the rooms are a bit bigger than they usually are in Japan. Convenience stores is nearby and it's just a short walk to the nearest subway station. Overall we are very pleased with our stay.

A very nice stay in Central Osaka located in the business district. Very convenient 2 mins away from the Metro and a 7-eleven right opposite. The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable.
