Hope there was some score less than 1 star. They should learn the hospitality business first and then take bookings. The rooms 101 and 102 has broken latches. The fans did not work. The sliding doors were not working. The restaurant had too many flies. No hygiene was maintained in the restaurant. The only plus point is the location. It was an exceptional location.

After reading some fascinating reviews on Google, I visited MTDC Malshej with my family last Sunday to enjoy the beautiful weather and beauty of Malshej. Firstly we waited for half an hour to Check-In at the Valley View AC Suite. To our surprise, we found that the room was dirty and unclean. There was a sign of water leakage on all the room's walls. There was dampness all over the room, which isn't good for your health. One might fall sick. The furniture and upholstery in the room was too old and dirty. The room doesn't look the same as shown on the MTDC website. The water heater in the room wasn't functioning correctly. MTDC Restaurant is Okay. The food is OK, not great, but you don't have another option for restaurants. We were unable to see and enjoy the beautiful valley of Malshej due to the continuous rain and dense fog which was all over. The weather was super cool. Forget AC, but we didn't even switch the Ceiling Fan. MTDC management should have kept a necessary Room Heater. There was no WiFi in the room, nor was the Mobile internet present, which caused a significant inconvenience. Only the restaurant has wifi. Altogether Our entire trip was a failed mission. I would request whoever wants to visit Malshej dont stay at the filthiest MTDC resort. Instead, go to the newly constructed Blue Deck resort, hardly 2/3 KM away. The best time to visit Malshej is during Diwali

Rooms, canteen premises needs maintenance. Insects are seen in the room just before booking the room. Hence, decided to cancel. Location is just perfect, resort area is also beautiful, only thing to improve is care taking of hotel rooms. Cleanliness and pest control can be thought upon.

The biggest USP of this place is surely the place where it is located . The view is amazing as it gives a complete mountain top hill view . There is a very spacious grassland also attached to the property. The canteen is big . Wish they had better and a vast menu . The perfect time to visit is monsoons. The roads leading to the spot are amazing and it's a very good experience.

You won't get better location than this resort. This resort itself is a separate site to experience. People visit malshej ghat to experience monsoon magic but u can view whole malshej ghat and much more from this resort. They have large area around the resort.

Value for money stay. The restaurant is expensive. The view is beautiful. I am not sure if the valley view rooms are worth it. We enjoyed our stay. We booked the b rooms. The room was clean but the water heater was tricky to use. I don't think anyone will ever need AC so do yourself a favor and save money.

It was a great location hotel, nice surrounding. 360 degree View from its garden is breathtaking. Specially before and after rain. Clouds come below and above from this place. It has children play area as well. Food was also very tasty and at reasonable cost. Valley view rooms are great. Must visit attraction of malshej ghat. You can spend most of your time here only.

Travellers beware. This place should just be visited for location and location and only for location only. Nothing else is good about this place. I think this place should also provide lpg connection so that people can cook food for themselves. The food is just meeting average standards. Don't expect any variety. I have stayed 2 nights but only once I was satisfied with the food (matki usal) and the same breakfast the next morning. The rooms are just horrible. No maintenance of the rooms. There is a damp smell which is annoying. After complaining the staff handed over the room freshener to my son and said do it yourself. Consider whatever money you are paying for the location. And don't expect any hospitality. This place has a lot of potential but it needs to be maintained like a hotel and not like a lodge. Very bad experience overall.

We stayed in the valley view rooms. The rooms were damp, filthy, from beds ,pillows, walls to curtains all had black spots of fungus on them. Bugs, spiders and all kinds of pests are in plenty inside the room. The restaurant offers basic food which lacks taste. The 2 good things are view and a dedicated kids play area 1. Nearby blue deck and saj by the lake have better amenities and food offerings

Our family visited for 2 nights stay. The place was clean and hygienic. Food was super good. Staff was polite and service was also super fast. We were with our 1 year baby - the staff was completely supportive for her food. :-)

The location of Hotel is the best deal. Cloudy sky start last week June. Better go Advance booking. Children playing garden is good. Room service quite late. Restaurant people too helpful and polite. Best Hill station to roam around Pimpaljoga dam , U point ,Natural car wash waterfall. Many small and large waterfall on Highway.

Very scenic view from the valley view room! The location of this resort is exceptional! The food was good, they can improve in the room interior. But over all its value for the money being the location.

Better than other mtdc resorts , room n bathroom was very spacious. Give the room service guy a good tip and they will ensure they clean yr place & provide fresh linen. Bcoz it was the monsoon season when we visited, The location is convenient for fit persons to good walk on the main road & also take the above road to walk to the upper areas where its totally secluded and scenic view of the waters, the mountains.

I went with my family for a one day picnic at Malshej ghat. We went for lunch at this restaurant and was satisfied with the quantity and taste of the food. The ambience around the hotel during monsoon is breathtaking.

You must be lucky to get a room booking in Malshej MTDC on weekend during monsoons.....there is mad rush here on weekends. We booked 6 weeks in advance. Nestled on edge of valley this is one of most scenic MTDC resort. Valley facing rooms are best for views. Cottage are good if you prefer to walk less. Food served in restaurant is reasonably good given that market is away. Play area of kids is good. Room Service is OK. Carry Odomos and good night of you want good sleep since it is surrounded by dense trees. Overall best monsoons gateway for Puneities.

Location is the only advantage that this resort have. Other than valley view rooms, rest all rooms are not in good shape. Food is ok. Oh yes, approach road to resort is narrow 2 big cars cannot cross each other.

Best location. View is awesome. We booked the AC Valley view room. These category of rooms are only 7-8. So if you are planning for a weekend it’s better to book in advance. AC is not required though but those rooms are better and provide a nice valley view. I believe rooms maintenance should be improved. Fridge doesn’t work. No kettles provided. 2 small soaps are only provided in the washroom. There is a restaurant inside which serves buffet only on the weekends, other days it provides ala-karte. Complementary breakfast is buffet on all the days. Better to take the breakfast option during booking coz there are no other restaurants nearby. Food here is good in taste. Best time to visit is during monsoon. Fog all over the place. There is a small park for kids as well. Parking is sufficient. People who are not opting for stay can also visit the place, enjoy the view, separate washrooms facility is also there for these visitors. There is also an outside separate entrance through where people come and enjoy the valley view. We went there on weekday, wasn’t too crowded, so the stay and visit were good. 1 night stay is sufficient here. After that you can visit the nearby lake/ waterfalls. Carry raincoats during rain as umbrella won’t sustain. Nice place to come with family and friends. Service is also good. Network issue is there. Wi-Fi works only in cafeteria or reception area

MTDC resort is situated at prominent location in Malshej. It offers beautiful view of the valley and various waterfalls of Malshej Ghat. Flamingo restaurant of this resort offers warm and tasty food even if rooms are not booked. They ample parking space

The MTDC Resort at Malshej Ghat by the name Flamingo Resort is having a fantastic location with scenic beauty & nature. It is a big resort with different type of accomodation with affordable rates. The service staff is humble & kind but need more professional training to keep the standards up to the mark in compare to Private Resorts. The rooms are good & specious but need better maintenance in reference to cleanliness.

Absolutely mind blowing if you are here for scuba diving. The training the team - very professional. The beach is amazing. The rooms are basic but clean. The restaurant again is not very commercial - variety is limited but very fresh and has a mix of options - local flavours or Indian cuisine.

We went on 31st Dec and 1st of January for small trip on New year eve. It was good experience. Rooms are big and well maintained. As MTDC resort is at Top of the Malshej Ghat the entire look of surrounding area was amazing. Pure air, clean atmosphere and cold breeze... superb refreshing experience

Excellent location. Beutiful landscape. Nice place to drive and spend 2-3 days. Food is costly especially breakfast. Can't charge like high end restaurant for the kind of food and service. Rooms can be maintained better. Nearby lake is must visit. High speed boating in the lake is a very good experience.

Highlight of tour is Resort location. Places at amazing location, surrounded by valley, mountain. Food is good. Rooms are big. Resort needs painting:) Note: If you have option, don't go for expensive valley view rooms. Fogg might spoil your mood and money.

Superb location in monsoons, rooms were ok, linens were clean, the rain did not let us venture out much, so dependent on hotel for food, which was limited to specific timings, no room service, actually no phones in rooms. Food was tasty, but confused waiters. Only recommended for location if you can tolerate moody staff.

Very bad service. Intercom was not working. Water leakage from window. Restaurant is useless. Limited items. I don't know what's the purpose of menu card, most of the items are not available. Location of the property is really good. MTDC should maintain the property.

Very good location, badly maintained rooms with skeletal furniture and a 21 inches TV which is kept too far away from the bed. Restaurant served good freshly made food, and that is a saving grace. Staff was quite helpful though but they can't do much with run down rooms with damp walls.

Always full. You wont get place to stay if not booked a week prior. Place is awesome at extreme top with beautiful view. Its between clouds and has lot of space. Rooms are also good to stay. Staff is polite. It is the only hotel in malshej ghat hence always fully booked. Prices are bit high as premium is charged for monopoly in stay at that location.

One of the best spots in Maharashtra in monsoons. Clouds enter your rooms. The plateau is green n will soone be a yellow carpet of flowers. Waterfalls on the way make u stop n enjoy the nature. Food is economical n good. Tip - go on a weekday to avoid crowds
