An amazing and authentic Chateau with exceptional wines to taste. The manner in which Johan highlights the differences in taste & experiences throughout the years were extremely clear. Highly recommend to stop here when in Saint Emillion. 10/10

We thoroughly enjoyed this visit off a our Celebrity cruise. It was about a 2.5 hour bus ride, BUT so worth it. We enjoyed learning about the family and the background of this winery. We felt very welcomed to be there as guests and treated very special. The wine is very special too. We purchased a case to enjoy at home with shipping being included in the purchase. We hope to visit again in the future.

We booked an English speaking tour and we're surprised to find that AJ, our tour guide, is from the USA. She ran us all through the family history which was fascinating. (I won't spoil it by telling you here). Then we learned more about winery management and wine making in the following 90 minutes than the previous tours we have done added together. It was absolutely brilliant. Then we were invited into the house to taste 4 wines and eat cheese. A perfect way to spend a morning.

An enlightening & enchanting encounter … AJ brought humor and a beautiful family history to our tour. Great wine & cheese to top it off! We thank you for a lovely visit - 3 Americans & a Frenchman

Very unique and personable vineyard tour with AJ, filled with generous sharing of wine-making, family love and rich history - in addition to tasting wines, grapes and good cheese! Get ready to indulge time, it’s worth it. An experience not to be missed! Found new collection with the Centenac st emilion grand cru!

Delightful tour this morning. AJ was fantastic and very passionate. The family should be very proud of their vineyard. The tour is dog friendly too!

One of the most informative tours I've ever experienced. AJ was awesome! She took her time and gave the group a lot of attention. I've learned a tremendous amount about winemaking from her. No high pressure sales at the end. We liked the wines and had some shipping home. Very positive experience.

We came to visit for a classic tour, it was such a lovely and informative experience for all of us. This was our first time visiting a winery and we were so glad that we found this family owned Chateau in Saint Emilion region. AJ was so friendly and easy to communicate. The guided visit included history and the making of wine from growing/caring grapes to blending and bottling. And of course, the wine tasting experience was awesome too. We learnt a lot from this tour and definitely recommend this place. Email them and schedule a tour when you are in Bordeaux. I'm sure you'll love it. Thanks AJ.

Lovely visit. Very professional, knowledgeable and fun tour guide that is part of the family that runs the winery. AJ told us so many interesting and fascinating details about the history of the place and the process of making wine. Also, it turns out their wine is excellent! This will definitely be our go to place whenever we have friends or family members visiting from abroad.

It was an amazing tour. AJ, the tour guide, who is also a family member of this chateau, has given us a great experience. Happy to know about the interesting story of this family and also the knowledge of wine making.

Visited in August and had a great time. We did several visits to different chateau and Cantenac was amongst our favourites. AJ was incredibly interesting and kind. Learning about the family history behind the chateaux and the business made the tour very engaging. Their wine is very good and we would love to go back and order more! If you’re in the area and able to book a tour, it’s definitely worth every penny - you won’t be disappointed!

I brought a group of 39 friends with me to visit the Château Cantenac vineyard/winery in September 2023. Adrienne Jennifer Roskan-Cheung (AJ) was extremely easy to work with during the planning stages and very professional. Once we arrived, she was a remarkable tour guide through the vineyard and it's history, the process of making wine and finally in sharing their wines for our group. Additionally AJ's mother in law welcomed us into her home (the Château) with a selection of cheese and breads to accompany the wines we tasted. The entire experience was amazing including the great stories of AJ's family and how she came to be part of the family run Cantenac vineyard. This is definitely a vineyard worth seeing while in Bordeaux.

Had a wonderful and informative tour of the family owned vineyard with AJ followed by a tasting of their wines with cheese in the family parlor. It was a great end to our stay in Saint Emilion. Even had wine shipped back home to share.

My wife and I traveled around Europe for nearly a month. We visited many wineries and tasted a lot of wine in three countries. Visiting Chateau Cantenac near St. Emilion was one of the better decisions we made. As others have stated, out of probably 100 vineyard tours we have been on over the years this one provided by AJ (Adrienne) was the most informative tour we have ever experienced. To us novices AJ brought to life the life of a vintner at ground level, literally. Her passion for the family business and knowledge of every aspect of winemaking made it fun. Thus there is no surprise the wine is great too! A very memorable experience. Thanks AJ!!

👍👍 We’ve visited 5+ wineries in Bordeaux and this was our favorite experience! Vincent, the winery owner, met us at the door, welcomed us into his home, and shared the details of his wine making process. He was a gentleman and extremely informative. At the end we tasted his Grand Cru €60 wines as well!...
