I
recently
spent
a
weekend
at
Hotel
Leveque
with
my
family,
opting
for
this
boutique
hotel
over
The
Joseph
after
careful
consideration.
It
was
a
delightful
experience,
enhanced
by
the
hotel's
subtly
charming
design
and
a
cozy
ambiance.
Not
too
fancy,
it
struck
the
right
balance
of
comfort
and
elegance.
The
staff,
particularly
at
the
front
desk,
were
friendly
and
welcoming.
I
appreciate
that
they
recognized
my
Platinum
status.
I
had
actually
requested
the
suite
upgrade,
which
they
graciously
provided.
We
were
upgraded
to
a
junior
suite
and
also
allowed
a
late
checkout.
The
weather
was
freezing,
around
10°F,
so
we
spent
a
lot
of
time
inside.
The
view
from
our
room
was
a
bit
disappointing,
mainly
showing
the
walls
of
adjacent
buildings.
This
unfortunately
resulted
in
limited
natural
light
entering
the
room,
contributing
to
a
somewhat
claustrophobic
feeling.
However,
I
can’t
really
complain
as
they
fulfilled
my
request
for
an
upgrade,
and
I’m
not
entitled
to
a
specific
room
type.
In
retrospect,
a
room
with
a
better
view,
even
if
smaller,
might
have
been
more
enjoyable.
The
standout
feature
of
the
room
was
definitely
the
bathroom.
It
was
huge,
spacious,
and
impeccably
clean.
The
design
and
color
scheme
were
particularly
impressive,
adding
a
touch
of
elegance
to
our
stay.
I
was
a
bit
surprised
and
disappointed
to
find
Keurig
machines
in
the
room;
I
expected
Nespresso
machines,
which
are
more
common
in
upscale
hotels
nowadays.
The
valet
service
at
the
hotel
was
slightly
expensive
at
$45
per
night
and
appeared
to
be
understaffed.
At
the
time
of
checkout,
which
was
on
a
Monday
afternoon
and
wasn’t
even
busy,
we
waited
for
over
30
minutes
to
get
our
car.
I
wish
there
had
been
better
communication
about
the
delay,
as
it
would
have
been
helpful
and
appreciated.
The
service
was
excellent
and
the
restaurant
was
great.
Despite
a
few
minor
drawbacks,
our
overall
stay
at
Hotel
Leveque
was
quite
enjoyable
and
definitely
worth
recommending.
