What a disappointed coffee and berry waffle! the coffee is tasteless. The environment is dirty, may be the window never cleaning. The staff is rude and unrespect customer.

Loved this place! Coffee is delicious and so great that it is locally sourced. The menu had a good variety which had me wanting to eat it all! My personal favourite are the Coconut Milk Custards. Will definitely be back to drink my coffee and watch the sunset at Origin. 🤩

Zero star for customer service. The lady at the bar has no interest in serving customers. Put up a straight face and not even trying to make an eye contact with your customers when talking to them is just way too unprofessional. Feel sorry for the owner of the store because the staff are ruining a probably good business. We just walked out and not bother to stay a minute longer. Visited on Sunday 24th 2023 around 10:15am.

I only had a coffee here but this shop is very impressive. Beautiful interior design great coffee, and a trendy crowd with almost all of the tables. Occupied inside and out. Located in the central shopping area this is a place to be seen and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. Recommended.

This place is the best coffee shop in all of Myanmar! Beautiful shop and awesome coffee. Try their Burmese latte- you won’t regret it! AJ- the manager is also amazing. He’s a great conversationalist, and is so kind and welcoming.

I enjoyed the view of the sunsets there, and it's fabulous. The coffee is ok, but it's not my favorite. The internet speed is awesome if you're looking for a good place to enjoy the internet with the sunsets. They got a lot of burmese dishes, but I didn't have them maybe next time. Overall, good view, awesome internet, the tastes are fair enough, clean environment and least good customer service. I hope this review can help!!!

✩Super high quality coffee. They roast their beans on-premise! I ordered the White Brew (a type of cold brew) for 5,950 kyat (around $4 USD) ✩Beautiful interior with gorgeous natural light. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. ✩Great place to get work done. Each seat has its own electrical plug (with USB compatibility!) Free fast wifi as well! ✩Staff are very kind and knowledgable about the menu! -Areas of Improvement- (1) Currently the only milk option is full-fat milk. I would LOVE to see more non-dairy free options, such as almond or oat milk. (2) Giving plastic cups and straws to every customer (regardless of whether or not they are eating in or taking to go) is wasteful! (3) Having a self-serve water pitcher on the 1st/2nd floors (next to the condiments/napkins) would be a nice touch. It is something that a lot of other higher-end cafes in Yangon provide to their customers.

Origin Coffee & Roastery is one of a kind in Yangon. Local coffee beans are used in their daily operation. Price is fair enough. There are new drinks items update weekly. Their food is also astonishing. Curry Puff is a must to try. The baristas are well trained and they can definitely get you a good coffee. For me, I really love the packaging of their items.

Please be advised that this is a genuine and honest feedback about this store after having personally visited quite some number of times very recently. This review may be quite lengthy. . Upon entering their store for ordering drinks respectively, a group of friends and I searched for a table outside by the store sidewalk as we wished to grab a seat outside. We were able to find one vacant table but due to some unfortunate circumstance, the table had no vacant chairs to be seated with. Therefore, as finding a solution to this issue, we went inside the store to grab some vacant stools for us to sit. When the store staff got aware that their in-store stools were being taken outside for seating, the store manager and baristas included, they RUDELY and ARROGANTLY informed us that, as customers, we were not allowed to take their in-store stools for outdoor seating purposes. Thus, as one of the person resolving this, I asked the staff NICELY and POLIETLY for a resolution on this issue and was given ABSOLUTELY NONE apart from asking us to be seated indoors when it was close to their store closing time. . . On a another case, they normally keep their outdoor seating tables and chairs outdoors even after their closing hours but for some strange reason, they are now storing their outdoor seating tables and chairs indoor by informing all their customers that they are no longer welcome even after their store closing hours. . . . Overall, I would NO longer visit nor recommend this store for any purposes to anyone AT ALL.

Coffee was quality and pennywort salad was delicious. Staff are kind and attentive, and good pricing considering it’s The Central. Lots of natural light so nice place to kick back Sunday noon.

On the day I visited, they had a coffee roasting session -- very cool to watch while I worked on my laptop, and smelled amazing! A very pretty space with lots of natural light. The pennywort salad and fillet-o-fish rice burger were delicious, as was the ginger coffee. Reliable wifi too!

Best coffee in the east side. If you are nearby and craving for some great coffee, this is where you go. I love the industrial vibe of the place and they have some bakery collection but not really fresh. The coffee is amazing though and they have good good outdoor and indoor seating. Latte is great and the prices are economic. Give it a try.
