I recently had the pleasure of staying at here which located in a walking distance to Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort, and I must say it was an outstanding experience! The staff at this inn were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the things I loved about this inn was the delicious food served. I enjoyed every meal I had there, from the hearty breakfast to the savory dinner options. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients to create mouth-watering dishes. The owner was helpful throughout my stay. Whether I needed directions to the ski resort or recommendations for local attractions, they were always happy to assist me. They even have karaoke and let us played on our last night there. And of course, the location of this inn is perfect for anyone looking to hit the slopes. I loved being able to walk to the ski resort in just a few minutes, which made getting up early and hitting the slopes even easier. You can also get cheaper chairlift ticket from the inn. Overall, I had an amazing stay at this inn. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, delicious, inexpensive and helpful experience, and especially to those who want to be within walking distance to one of the best ski resorts in the area.

Came here for 2 years already, and again I really enjoy the stay over here. Very friendly host and nice foods! Definitely would recommend this place for people who are coming myoko!

The best experience of stay ever, family run host is extremely helpful in every enquire, they are super caring, facilities are great, home cooked dinner is delicious and the family is always attentive and caring, provide us assistance and help whenever we need. 2度目の利用です！ 女将と田端屋の皆さんの温かさに触れたいと思い行きました！ 近隣のスキー場でイベントがありましたので、田端屋さんに絶対泊まると決めて今年もお世話になりました！ 朝食を楽しみにしていましたが、大変美味しく朝から沢山おかわりしました。 愛犬も泊まれる事もあり、わんちゃん連れの方には特にオススメです。 従業員の皆様、素敵な笑顔でお出迎えして下さるのでまた来たいなーと思える宿です。 妙高に来た際には今後も田端屋さんにお世話になります。 また行きますのでよろしくお願いします。

子連れで戸隠の忍者村へ行った際に、一泊させてもらいました。 とてもアットホームでサービスも良く、気持ちよく過ごせました。 ご飯もとても美味しかったです。 冬季にはスキー客が多く利用されるようです。こちらから歩いて5分くらいのところに杉ノ原スキー場のリフトに乗れるそうなので、また機会があれば利用させて頂こうと思います。

The family owners hosting us is extremely hospitable, and the food served is very yummy - just the thing you need after a day out skiing. The variety of meals provided over the course of the entire week is also amazing.

This Inn is run by 9th generation innkeepers. The hosts are an amazing family who are all so hospitable. Great variety of dishes for breakfast and dinner each day, all of which were splendid. A little gem in Myoko! Highly recommend!

食事は絶品です。夕食は刺身、すき焼き等、満足しました。朝食もおかずが適量かつ美味しく頂けましたので、良かったです。お風呂も綺麗に手入れされており、疲れを癒す事ができました。お部屋は少し古さを感じられましたが、寝るだけと考えれば問題ないです。

Could not recommend this place enough!!! The Japanese style rooms have futon style beds and are very cozy. The bath is located on the first floor and is also very nice and refreshing. But where this place really shines is with the staff. We arrived late in the evening on our first night here, and the kitchen had already closed. However, the owner offered to drive us in her car, to a local ramen restaurant. She then returned an hour and a half later, to pick us up and bring us back to go to bed. After such kindness, she didn’t ask for any money or compensation. To further the experience, when we woke up the next morning we were treated to a warm breakfast and coffee, also free of charge! Overall I would highly recommend this place for all types of travellers, particularly if you are travelling on a budget and looking for a traditional style inn to spend the night!
