I whispered to this special feline" I would like to take you home, hop into my backpack and much to the tower staff or owner's amusement, he quipped back rather quickly "NOT A CHANCE!"😂. I considered ourselves very fortunate when we visited on a weekday, we had the tower to ourselves and Frau Wendelstein. (Unusual name for a female cat but a name that exudes strength and might) had just woke up from her catnap, hopped onto the bench next to me and purred as I stroked her Fluffy and Furry Highness. 365 narrow, steep steps up and and down the tower daily must be taxing for this great old dame of 12 years and as the highest ranking employee in the city of Nördlingen😻, she must have sufficient rest to carry out her duties. The view: breathtaking, as we admired the traditional red pitched roofs below. Keep in mind: At tower level there is an obligation to wear an FFP2 mask. The ascent and descent as well as the view over the city on the round viewing platform can be done without a mask while maintaining a sufficient distance. The steps are winding and narrow. On weekends: The number of people is limited to a maximum of 12, the length of stay is one hour.

Well worth the walk up approx 370 steps! Amazing views of the whole town from the top. Reward yourself with a beer when you get down!

It’s worth visiting. Pay entrance fees at the top of the tower. I highly recommend coming here on weekdays, and we would only be able to see the Daniel Tower and the town wall on Sunday.

The tower was amazing. It really feels like you’re a giant when up in the tower. If you’re an Attack on Titan fan, please ask the tower keeper to tell you the story about the pig, and you will find some similarities with the series. Lots of “Tatakae” and “Sasageyo” writings everywhere. Beautiful look at the wall. Can only recommend.

They let you to go whole way up and then they wanted a money. If you don't Pay, they kick you Down... Very sad..

Just don’t leave your wallet behind before doing the climb. They don’t take credit cards up there and the guy will show your way out in not time. Not even allowed to take your breath. Did I mention there are no signs at the entrance about carrying cash? Or any fee as a matter of fact?

Very beautiful. Costs 4€/adult. You pay at the top. There is also a toilet on the way. It is windy up there!

Beautiful views and only €3,50 to see the entire Nördlingen area. Worth the 300-something steps to the top! I would not advise older people or very young children to attempt the climb but anyone of normal physical fitness will not have any trouble.

A cat lives the middle of this tower. She/he was so cute! Furthermore, from this tower you can see this town as circle shape. Awesome view!

Very narrow stairway. It wasn't easy going steps up but it was worth it to see the views.
