Nand Baba temple requires one to head up the steps or vehicles can go up to almost the entrance with a few steps to spare. Beautiful place. Idols are so mesmerizing. Temple complex is blissful. Pandits explain well but then beware of donation chasing people who will be behind you every moment. They say donate per your wish but then some pandas start bothering you till you eventually decide to run away without enjoying the beauty of the place.

Very beautiful temple it is. You have to cover a steeper path. The temple management artificially maintain the rush. They allow almost 30 to 40 people at a time. Then they try to play with the mind of people to get money. This thing runs for almost 10 to 15 minutes. After that they allow another batch of people. If they stop this and allow people to come and see freely, i think rush can be avoided.

With us you just don’t visit Braj, but revisit the golden era of Kanha’s childhood. We as Brijwale understand the importance of visiting pious places and temples in and around Mathura, hence not only help you plan your trips to the land but also keep you acquainted about the minutest information of the land. Nand bhavan: Krishna and his childhood pastimes amuse every pilgrim, and this amusement towards the supreme almighty brings the pilgrims to his own abode the Braj Dham. Every part of this region narrates a different character of Lord Krishna. From Mathura to Nandgaon-Barsana, the affiliation of Kanha’s childhood with these cities makes them a privileged destination of pilgrimage tours. Located at 30 km from Mathura, Nandgaon is located to the south adjacent to the Nandiswar hill. Nand Bhawan is nestled on a mountain peak verdant with green foliage all around. The rolling mountains at the backdrop make this place more spectacular. Mesmeric structure of devotion: Visiting Nand Bhavan in Braj is like revisiting the infancy of Lord Krishna. The opulence of Nand Bhawan can be judged by its sprawling vast complex. The premises are huge and few ascending stairs lead to its entrance. Nand Bhawan is wealthy in its manifestation. The wide open spaces around the palace bring the yester-world real to the eyes. There are fascinating rooms exclusively allotted to everyone including father Nand baba, mother Yashoda, mother Rohini, Shri Krishna, Baldev, Shri Radha and their allies. The residence is extensive as it had a kitchen, dining hall, restrooms, storerooms etc. The mythical place is wrapped up with stories from the spiritually significant era.

Holi Samaaj Gayan inside Nand Baba Temple complex. The air inside the temple turns scarlet and is a beautiful sight to behold! People from both the villages (Barsana & Nandgaon) celebrate the Holi festival in temple courtyard where they sing, dance and smear each other with colours, which is called as a meet-up of ‘samaaj’ If you happen to be here, be prepared to be doused in bucketfuls of water thrown from the terrace.

This temple is situated in the middle of Nand village. The distance of the temple from the main road is about 250 meters with a little climbing. Here Lord Krishna is present in idol form along with elder brother Balram ji and Nand Baba and Yashoda Maiya. Lord Krishna and Balaram ji are very adorable

You have to take the steps. Around 300 steps. What you see from temple is quiet phenomenal. Temple has very nicely depicted murals. Nandbaba made this palace, Away from kans. First Krishna Janmashtami was also celebrated here.

Nand bhawan means the residence of Nand maharaj. Lord Krishna spent his first three years of childhood in Gokul. After that Nand maharaj left Gokul with all residents and came to Nandgaon. There they built the house atop a large hill, known as Nandishvara Parvat, to protect child Krishna from the demons sent by Kansa. Krishna stayed here for 9 years. Nandgaon is a major religious and tourist attraction. Every year thousands flock to the town to witness the famous Lathmar Holi. Total spiritual experience. Must visit.

My visit to Shri Nand Baba Temple in Nandgaon was a deeply spiritual and culturally enriching experience. The temple's peaceful ambiance and the devotion of the worshippers were truly inspiring. It's in this very town where Lord Krishna spent his early years and the temple beautifully captures the essence of that period. The stories of Nand Baba and his love for Krishna come to life here. If you're looking for a place to connect with the rich heritage and devotion surrounding Lord Krishna's childhood, Shri Nand Baba Temple is a must-visit. I was profoundly moved by the experience and would highly recommend it.

Good place, but the pandas deliberately keep the door closed till you hear all the stuff they want to tell you to play with your sentiments to pay up. Don't fall for it and do good darshan and come out. Also, be aware of the Scam by local taxi, they will say it's steep and many steps to reach the top so take a taxi. They will charge you more than 6 times for not even 2 km, Not worth it if you can walk even a bit. There is a small temple before taking right towards the main temple. Pandas, there will try to fool you to it, too. That's not the main temple.

The residence is extensive as it had a kitchen, dining hall, restrooms, storerooms etc. The mythical place is wrapped up with stories from the spiritually significant era. Besides splendid and spacious rooms, pilgrims here are allured by the red sandstone temple of Nand Maharaja. This magnificent 19th-century temple is the major attraction for pilgrims. The ceilings of the temple are flooded with beautiful paintings and the walls are decorated with the scenes from the spiritually significant era. The murals and paintings seem so real that they bring the episodic scenes back to life that were once played in this palace for real. The temple has the idols of the deities Nand baba, mother Yashoda, Shri Krishna, brother Balarama, beloved Shri Radha and other family members. The enshrined deities are worshipped by the locals daily with faith. Childhood memories that come alive: Nand Bhawan beholds various stories of Lord’s childhood and youth days with his brother Baladeva. It is believed that Shri Radha used to come here on loving requests of mother Yashoda. With great delight, she used to prepare tasty dishes for Shri Krishna. Krishna would then eat the food with his friends in the dining hall of and Bhawan and take rest in the bedrooms. Nand Bhavan is a major site for Hindu pilgrims. Devotees come here from all around the world and soak themselves in the timeless power and get connected to the spiritual world. Must visit place 😍 Love 💕 it ♥️❣️ if you going to Vrindavan plz visit it I m sure you will not regret. Check the description for more about temple. Lord Krishna was shifted from Nandgokul to this place to protect against Kamsa. In the temple we can see deities Krishna & Balarama. On the left & right deities of Yashoda & Nanda Maharaja are there. Next to Yashoda Radha deity, a small deity of Rohini mother of Lord Balarama and Revathi Balaram's wife. Nand Bhavan, or Shri Nand Baba Temple, is built in the same spot as the residence of Nand Ji, Shri Krishna’s foster father. This is the only temple that has the shrines of the foster parents, Nand Ji and Yashoda Mata, of Shri Krishna. Shri Krishna spent his childhood in Nandgaon. Nand Bhavan is also known as Nandagram Temple. Raja Rupa Singh built this temple in the 19th century with red sandstone. My Experience at Nand Bhawan Nandgaon I was filled with immense joy as soon as I entered Nandgaon. This place holds so much of the history of Lord Krishna and his childhood. I was mesmerised by the enchanting beauty of Nandishwar Hill. The idols of Shri Krishna and Balram stood in the centre, with Yashoda Maiya at the right and Nand Baba to the left of them. Images of Radha Rani, Rohini (Lord Balram’s mother), and Revathi (Lord Balram’s wife) are placed next to the idol of Yashoda Ma, and pictures of Sudama and Madhumanhala (Lord Krishna’s friends) are placed next to Nand Baba. The experience holds a lot of value, as this visit made me feel like I could see Lord Krishna’s childhood through my eyes. The morning aarti

The place is cool as a spiritual point in mathura. It is called radhaji ka sasural. Saints there accumulate many people and create rush to get money in the form of donation through their spiritual speech. Dont come in their influence. See the temple and go back. Trying to visit inside temple and do darshan can be dangerous as people get suffocated due to that much rush.

Nand Bhavan, the residence place of Nand Maharaj, Shri Krishna’s foster father is most famous pilgrimage site in Nandgaon, Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh. Nand Bhawan also famed as Nandgram temple is located on top of Nandishwar Hill and just at 9 km away from Barsana. As it had witnesses all the youth-childhood leela of Lord Krishna and brother Baldevji, thus it hold special importance in all the devotee of Lord Krishna. Thousands of devotee and tourist visits here in Nandgaon across the year while they are in Mathura or Vrindavan. It is believed that Nandbaba relocated from Gokul to Nandgaon and stayed here along with Yashoda Maiya, Lord Krishna, Balram and all people of Gokul. Nand Bhavan literally means that home of Nana Baba is the only temple where Yashoda Mata and Nand Baba is worshipped along with Lord Krishna and Balaramji. In the central sanctum, idols of Lord Krishna, Balaram, Yashoda and Nanda are placed. Idols of Radha Rani, Rohini mother of Balramji and Revathi wife of Balaramji is placed. 👍👍 We stayed for 2 days in Rigveda Resort. It is located in a very scenic location. Roads to the resort are good. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms are cleans and bedding is very comfortable. The best part about the resort is the quality and taste of food. Recommend it to fellow travellers
