- Internet connection is very very bad and slow. Trust me, I've never experienced such a bad internet speed before in the Netherlands. I'm writing this comment by using my mobile data from the hotel, otherwise it's not possible. - There is no lobby hall in the otel and there are only 2 chairs in the enterance. If you arrive early, you have to wait outside in the cold. - There was not a single cabinet in the room nor fridge to keep drinks cold. - Area of the hotel is central but not family freindly with casinos and drunk noisy people all arround.

Hotel is otherwise nice but has two shortcomings. Firstly there is no fridge (minibar) on the rooms so I could not have snacks like youghurt available. Secondly, there is no air conditioning. I slept really badly and the whole stay was just painfully sweaty, indoor temperature was 32 degrees which is unbearable and unacceptable for a hotel this expensive.

The hotel is well located for an Amsterdam visit (just 20m by train) in a new and modern town, concierge friendly, but the room very small and there is any additional service (gym, sauna, etc...). If you stay in Almere everything close early.

Good room/bed. Nice personel. Good breakfast buffet.Located in walking distance to city centre and restaurants. Great beerfactory/restaurant annex to it. We had a great stay.

It has been a pleasure again to stay in the Leonardo Hotel over the triathlon weekend in Almere. Right next to the venue, friendly staff, superb breakfast. Ideal for me as an athlete and also for the family to go shopping, as you walk right into the city center. Only issue this year was the malfunctioning of the climate control system. In combination with the unusual hot weather, this was another challenge. I also missed the opportunity of cooling my water bottles, as the small fridge that used to be there was removed.

A good location - close to cinema and shops and relatively close to a supermarket and striking distance of Amsterdam, but my experience in the hotel itself was less than perfect. I had to change room once due to an insect of unknown origin and in the second room, the TV was not working.

Apart from the toilet paper, which is very bad quality, the rest is good. The location is awesome.

Excellent location which is close to every possible need in Almere center with a beautiful lake nearby. Helpfull and service minded staff. Freshly served good breakfast.

Right by the lake. Not a busy area, limited on things to shop, can't find supermarket nearby. The room came as a shock when I wanna use the kettle. Foul smell from the kettle and observed what looks like harden milk left inside. You can imagine pungent smell in the room. Went to recept and they apologies and quick enough to get it cleaned up. Still, this shouldn't happen. Aircon wasn't cold enough after trying different setting. Nice bar and dining area. The breakfast was decent. They allow us to pack food when we are in a hurry to leave, which is very nice of them.

Basic needs where full filled but can improve room quality, location of the hotel was good

The room was very worn. Broken door to bathroom, wood floor planks sticking up. Electricity not working properly, phones can´t be charged without lights on. Television can´t be turned of. Music from restaurant playing to the middle of the night.

Great hotel in a great location. Spacious rooms with good facilities, breakfast was good too! Staff were warm and welcoming.

Over all very good. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. I am not sure the restaurant is part of the hotel or not and it as very good, the only comment would be an have an expanded menu but that is a minor concern. Overall very happy!

The hotel was great, super accommodating to our fairly large group. The 3 and 4 bed rooms were perfect allowing us a cost effective place to stay in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and well maintained. Location is excellent and easily accessible. Will definitely be back!

Really quiet area and directly at the Shopping Center. Rooms are big and comfortable. 1 km away from the train station. The water is 3 minutes away and a small beach, too. Very friendly service at the reception. Gym possibility 2 minutes to walk. Parking space in a garage for 10€ per night. Would recommend to my friends and family!

Extremely cold, uninviting hotel with rooms to match! I have stayed here a few times before but it does seem that the standards have completely dropped.

Check out till 12 is confortable. Would be great if the parking was included to the hotel booking, but it's not a big deal, the collective parking price is 11 Eur/day.

Perfect place in centrum city. Underground parking with lift direct to hotel. Ideal for weekend visit and night party in city.

This hotel must be one of the top picks in the area. Very artistic design , also very helpful and attentive workers all combined with the excellent location in the city center , just near the lake. I think that it will be wonderful to visit here also during the summer , although i am not sure that i will pay such prices.

Excellently located in the City centre of Almere. You can park your car in a garage directly under the hotel. The Service was excellent, everyone was nice and friendly. I would perfectly recommend it if you just want to stay 1 or 2 nights e.g. for going to the Floriade expo. But there are several things I didn't like. First, in the room there was no possibility to open the windows and even with the air conditioning on low temperature and full ventilation on you couldn't feel any air circulation. So, in summer with 3 persons the air in the room was very sticky and after showering very damp. And then the breakfast: Everything that is usual was there but very basic, nothing special. And many things e.g. cheese & scrambled eggs tasted like nothing. And many unnecessary plastic waste, e.g. plastic cups for boiled eggs.

Had some mixed experience. We had family room and we found the toilet/Bathroom door was not closing all the way through. There was still some gaps there. When we complained about it to reception they were not much of help. They could do much more than that. Otherwise nice view and great place to hangout for peace lovers.

Great hotel with friendly staff. We really felt comfortable with a lift to the parking slots which were also pretty low in prices. We would like to come back.

I spend few days in this hotel and it was really nice in my pretty room. Really modern, really comfortable bed and nice view. Also the service is very good and they really make you comfortable staying here. I recommend.

Nice location and clean, but unhelpful front desk. Staff were generally courteous but when asked about their confusing parking policy (which states 24 hours, but it actually charges you each time you go in-and-out, even within a 24 hour period), we were met with conflicting advice and condescension. Additionally, our room's AC didn't work, leading us to need to open the window every day so it didn't get stuffy. The wifi was also spotty (I couldn't work effectively on the property) and their gym policy is not useful-- they only get a ltd number of gym passes per day, and all of them were gone, preventing me from using the gym. Although the location is convenient, would be reluctant to stay here again.

The hotel is nice but a bit understaffed (check in took forever and seemed strangely complex). Rooms looking out over the Bierfabriek have a marked smell of cold fried food but apart from that they're clean and comfortable. Direct access from underground garage and nearby shops, restaurant and beach make it a very good location.

The hotel is quite good, and above a very fun pub. The rooms are excellent and large. It is a bit far from Amsterdam and a good walk to the train station so it is not the best for people that want to see Amsterdam but it is by a charming lake,
