Netter kleiner Strand, wenn man "mal kurz" einen Bade-Abstecher in Holland machen will. Parken ist direkt am Strand möglich. Strandwache ist vorhanden & Toiletten ebenso.

Well, after the serious lockdown, catching with the owner, his dedicated staff and some locals from "afar" again, with a few drinks, it was so nice to be being able to sit outside a café again having a few. Hallelujah, it was great and thoroughly enjoyed it. Btw well covid organised, good card for lunches and nibblies, so let just hope we can continue to go there. The weather itself ? If behind the "terrace screens" out of the wind very comfortable. If on the "kade" itself, if there is not too much (northerly) wind it is also a top spot !! Yess, glad we can go back.

The village beach of Huizen. Usually it is't no crowdy, plenty place of free parking, which itself us quite unique in Holland. Children friendly and quite few bars & restaurants nearby. Not very far from village centre and yaht harbour.

The beach is okay if you don't have the time to go any farther. There's a decent playground, some food and drinks, clean water and a decent parking lot. Just be careful that your child does not approach any Dutch kid, because they will be bullied a lot. The other ones are normal.

Suitable for locals peopel with their kids.

Calm, not crowded. Water not cold, what is very rare in the Netherlands. Plenty of parking space. Missing infrastructure around, like restaurants, cafes or beach club

Do not expect a proper beach! It's basically a big waterway with some coastline (roughly 500 meters of beach coastline). Water is still and full of algae. It works for us to get some sun since we live really close. Otherwise I wouldn't go here.

Havent been in the summer, only winter time lets say autumn 😉 I definetly like the place so waiting for the season to start .

Schöner, sauberer Strand, sehr flach und damit gut geeignet für kleine Kinder. Nur leider kann man kaum über die Begrenzung hinaus schwimmen, da fast überall die Wasserpflanzen recht dich bis zur Wasseroberfläche wachsen. Hier ein kleine "Schneise" durch die Wasserpflanzen für Schwimmer sehr hilfreich!
