This place is a hidden gem. The ambiance is very cosy. The owner and also the chef welcomed us inside. And immediately we felt so welcome. The food was lovely and very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Came here because of the raving reviews, left early because of the lack of attention and service. When we arrived there were 3 people behind the bar, but no welcome or hello from anyone. When we mentioned we booked a table we were met with shaking heads. The hostess then found our booking and reluctantly made space for us without uttering a word. Once we got the menu and wanted to order, it took ages for someone to get our order. We ordered the chef’s menu which was good, but we expected it to be better for €50. Once we finished our main, they cleared our table and weren’t offered any more drinks or dessert. After waiting for 15 min we just got up to pay. During our whole visit not a friendly word or smile was given. Very unexpected and disappointing after reading about the warm service here. We won’t be coming back here.

Very welcoming owners with great passion for food and hosting. This was another visit of mine with a larger group on a friend's birthday and owners set a perfect vibe by playing lovely music, tastiest Ethiopian vegetarian food and then in the end offered a Champagne on the house to celebrate birthdays. The food is made of organic ingredients and Injeras were very soft and tasty with flour grounded in windmill. See you soon again Ghezae!!! Amish

Delicious, well cooked food ! Everything was cooked in the spot but the service remained very fast ! Grateful flavours , the staff was very very friendly and happy that we ate well ! Will definitely come back to Almere just for this restaurant !!!

Ate there recently. The food is amazing, really amazing. I think the owner both serves and makes the dishes and she does a wonderful job. My friend and I both took the large pancake with several spots of small dishes. Was quite a lot, and so tasty. Really reminds me of a mix of Italian and Indian, but earthier. You can really taste the love in the food. And the owner is so nice too.

The food was delicious! The service was okay tbh. I hope they get some help, because there was only one person at the bar, and it was pretty busy in the restaurant.

I had a lovely experience at Seni. We came here with a group of 8. The food was cooked fresh on the spot, it was colorful and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and engaging, and they were very excited to share with us their food and culture!

We ordered a vegetarian and a meat platter and everything was super tasty and flavorful. Soft and well made injeras. Hosts are very friendly, inviting and always smiling. Must visit in almere.

The place is really authentic and the food is amazing! But what was most amazing of all was how much effort the owners put on the presentation of the food, the music, decoration, and atention. They received us with so much joy. The beef was amazingly good.

Amazing African (Eritrean/Ethiopian) in Haven. Each dish is unique and you get a generous portion of injera (sourdough flatbread) used to scoop up all the delicious items. The owners have a genuine passion for the food they serve and are very friendly. Get the spice powder and add to all dishes if you like some heat.

Went here to end a teambuilding day with colleagues, the food was amazing, people too. Ambient can be a point of improvement but while being there you wouldn't notice it as everything else is super!

Very cosy and authentic restaurant with delicious food from Eritrea. All dishes were served on one plate together and we could eat with our hands. It was a great experience with a very sympathetic owners.

Amazingly tasty experience we had at Seni. We came for an international food project and we were very delighted to find this hidden gem in one of Almere’s neighbourhoods. The food was a blast. The fried chickpea and tomato spread in combination with the sour pancake was a total revelation. I am also still dreaming about that warm, soft yet crunchy and not too sweet pistachio baklava. My gosh. Another big thing is how super friendly and helpful the staff is. They answered all my weird questions. I would definitely eat there often if I were to live in Almere or around. Highly recommended. Very grateful for the experience.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Food was superb! Everything was so delicious from the starter to the dessert. Starting already from the place, nice and very cosy, and then I could see the old african lady working in the kitchen (and at this very point, I knew already we were going to eat something special) We got 5 mixed dishes from the chef and it was the best choice we could get, I personally went to collect every bit left in the dish for how tasty it was. Last but not least, the dessert... Please order the Baklava, it's the best one I have ever eaten in my life. I know for sure I HAVE to come back eating in this place. Please follow my tips and come to this restaurant, you won't regret it, I swear. (I wanted to take pictures but my hunger was quicker than my photography LoL)

We were 11 people having dinner last Saturday, it was just amazing. The service was perfect, all time asking if everything was okay and you could feel they were really happy just because we were enjoining the food so much. We asked for advice and tried many dishes, all of them nice, I couldn’t prefer one than other. We will come for sure, I surely recommend this place to everybody!
