Really nice place to make a stop for a refreshment especially if you are on your cycling trip. I was on my afternoon cycling trip from Amsterdam to Almere, and this was a lovely stop.

Free parking, which is nice. I arrived around 18.30 after work. they told me if i wanted food i needed to be in the restaurant and order prefferably before 19, which i find too early for a restaurant. The room was nice but incredibly warm 29 °C and no airconditioning. Openening the windows was no option either because immediately muskitos started coming in. All in all not a bad a stay, I was just unlucky with the heat and muskito thing. 131 euro/night is on the high side tho for this.

Stayed here a short while ago, and recently had the thought pop up in my mind that I must leave a review. I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel often for work, and sometimes I forget when an experience really deserves a review. We visited here for a team meeting, with about 15 of us, mid week. Our Amsterdam based team wanted us to visit somewhere outside of the Amsterdam centre. I found the location and building charming. The staff were friendly and clearly took pride in their jobs. We ate at the restaurant the first night for dinner and also for lunches between meetings - very high quality. The breakfast range was also perfect. My main personal take away was that I found the bed to be extremely comfortable. The next would be that it was a very quiet at night. Often I stay in hotels with amazing staff and decor, however they can often forget the basics. Things like having access to a hot shower and to have a comfortable bed in a quite room at night. I say thank you to, and applaud the people of Hotel Restaurant Het Rechthuis 👏

We stayed for 8 nights in April 2023 and used the location for daily bike trips in the region. This is a very nice place to stay. We had a large room on the second floor. Described as a “monumental”, it had two twin beds and a wardrobe. The shower was hot and big enough in size. The hotel and the street outside is extremely quiet at night. The breakfasts were more than ample. There is locked bike storage and the village has a store and several restaurants. A great location close to Amsterdam (1 hour) and close to great biking in the Gooi region. Would definitely stay here again.

Very kind staff and the rooms are clean and beautiful. the location is also wonderful. It's near the sea, Lidl and Burger King( if you want to buy food). The mattreses and pillows are so comfortable. There's only one thing I wish it were there : a small Fridge!

Excellent service and a clean room. We had a wonderful stay when in the area for business travel. Don’t forget to find the geocache that is on the property if you like history.

I liked the breakfast, but all the rest is a little bit poor.. we had to stay into a separate room old and poorly furnished, unfriendly hospitality in case of families with children (little noise from kids during breakfast and excuse from our side - bad answer from hotel members)..prices way too high for the final result. I wouldn’t come again

Stayed at this hotel with my fiancé for two nights. It was a beautiful clean room and a great experience to stay there. The restaurant on the first floor has excellent service and delicious food. Also perfect location to take day trips into Amsterdam. We are looking forward to returning again some day!

Only open place in the town on a Saturday morning for coffee! But we'll worth the stop for us cyclists.... it actually had a beautiful French charm about it!!

Nice quiet hotel outside Amsterdam. Drive 5 minutes to Weesp station where there is free parking and then get the train into Amsterdam, which is €7.50 return. Parking in the city is €5 per hour on the street! There are some lovely walks close to the hotel. The hotel itself is a little dated and there is no air conditioning, but it was pleasant enough.

Cozy hotel. Decent sized rooms. Comfortable, if small, beds. Good pressure on the shower.

We were staying here for a family weekend with over 20persons, the reception was really warm & friendly and the rooms perfect, spacious and most important (for me) good beds! One tip; ask for anti allergic bed decks/pillows if you’re allergic to down (feathers) Thank you staff for the way you tended to all our wishes!🙏
