Highly recommend this place! A guesthouse/co-working space and a cafe, all in one building. I will definitely be staying here again. They often hold interesting events here. Plus the staff are so friendly and the coffee is 👌👌👌 Also, they're diversity friendly 😉🌈

This hostel was made by rich people who have never stayed in real hostels. Allow me to explain. I’m currently sitting in a common area drinking beer and waiting for my clothes to dry. Why am I sitting in the common area instead of the lounge? Because the lounge doesn’t have any outlets near the chairs and sofa. Why am I drinking beer? Because my clothes are drying (drying only) for 1 hour and 39 minutes. When I checked in, I specifically asked the clerk if the washers were hard to use. I asked because this happens in Japan a lot. She said no and also said that there were English instructions on a paper. OK. I thought I could be efficient by washing and drying my clothes before I went out tonight. So I go back to the washer and follow the instructions. The display reads 8 hours and 41 minutes. I sat looking at the display for over a minute because I thought maybe it was the time, like it’s 8:41. It wasn’t 8:41 at the time, but maybe the time was wrong like on VCRs back in the day. But no, it was counting down. The clerk confirmed this when she came upstairs to look at it. She stood there pressing buttons for almost 5 minutes, making it clear to me that these washers are not easy to use. Different times appeared each time she presses start. 5 hours. 3 hours and 38 minutes. Finally she set it to rinse only for 16 minutes. She said she would come back in 16 minutes to turn it back on and set it to dry my clothes. After I got back from buying beer, the display read 1 hour 39 minutes. I just checked again and it’s at 35 minutes. When I checked in, the clerk made a photocopy of my Japanese ID card. That’s fine. That’s common practice for hotels in Japan. But then she said, “Is this your first time in Japan?” I thought that was strange considering only people who live in Japan have Japanese ID cards. Are the facilities nice? Sure. Everything looks new and it’s clean. But...this place is strange. For example: The cubbyholes for the beds in the shared dorm are insane. I have a top bunk, but the ladder is off to the right side of the opening. It’s too high to boost myself up, but when I climb the ladder my head bumps into AC ducts. So I have to duck down and step left and forward to get into my sleeping area. Basically I almost died the first time I did this. The lockers don’t have a lock and are in a recessed corner of the room without lighting, so I can’t see what’s inside. There’s a small lockable cabinet in my sleeping area, but using it requires me to climb into the sleeping area and risk falling again. The door to the street has a lock, but it doesn’t lock automatically. The clerk told me to lock it whenever I go in or out, which I’ve done. But I’ve been out 3 times, and all 3 times it was left unlocked by other guests. All right, then. The design choices for this place are strange. But I dunno, maybe it was designed by Japanese people for Japanese people. But, to me, it’s just too sterile and strange. Like an alien saw a hostel on Google and then built a new hostel based on that. The common area includes a large tent set up on artificial grass. There’s a camping grill set up next to it, but I don’t think it’s meant to be used. They have a Dyson vacuum cleaner and some kind of glowing humidifier that may also be a sentry robot. It sounds crazy, but you should see this thing. Speaking of seeing things, I don’t know if I can upload photos to go along with this review. Maybe it’s the next step in this review process, I dunno. Anyway. I was gonna rate it 3 stars, but 3 stars is “good” whereas 2 stars is “OK.” I consider this an OK experience considering the kind of night I’ve had.

This is a high standing guest house. Common part are amazing (kitchen, living room, tv, board games, terrace...). There are people who lives there all year long so atmosphere is very friendly. It’s like being in Terrace House for the ones who knows this show.

(Translated by Google) There is a cafe on the 1st floor and a coworking space on the 2nd floor. The coworking space can be used for 500 yen per hour and 2000 yen per day. The cafe on the 1st floor is a nice open space with many customers. Card payment (also compatible with NFC) is advanced for payment of drinks at cafes. The coworking space on the 2nd floor is convenient because it also has Wi-Fi and a power supply. You can enter and exit the 2nd floor with your card key, so it is safe in terms of security!

(Translated by Google) I usually use Huff (subscription/nomad service). I have only been to this directly managed store, but I recommend it. The interior has a rugged, minimalistic, modern design that eliminates waste. Except for where you sleep, it's a shared space, but the shared living room is quite large and divided into several areas, so even if you share with your roommate, you won't feel too tired. The sophisticated design of the cafe on the 1st floor is also good. Coffee is good too. It is easy to use because you can stand or sit at work. Spacious and not littered. I didn't have a chance to use the workspace on the 2nd floor, but this one has a tent and lawn, and it feels like a free office of a venture company. This is an inn that you want to repeat when you come to Nagasaki.

I had a fantastic stay here! The staff member who checked me in was so warm and confirmed that they were able to accommodate my request for a bottom bunk. I was in the Yataro room which is configured in a way that three bunks are in one part and another 2 beds are on the other side of a sliding door partition inside the room. I was lucky enough to be in one side by myself so I essentially had a private room! I loved the layout of the 3F living area. Breakfast the next morning was really good and included in the price of my stay. Highly recommend!

This hostel is absolutely amazing! The design and decor of the common spaces, cafe downstairs and the room is really cool and very modern. The private room itself was really spacious with a comfy double bed, desk space and wardrobe. The shower and toilet area was clean and spacious too. The common space upstairs was absolutely massive, shame we were only able to stay 1 night and not use this space but it's great for hanging out and cooking. The cafe downstairs is really nice too and they had amazing breakfast with great coffee. The staff speak decent English and helped us very well. Location of the hotel is good to, maybe a bit harder to reach with public transport but there's lots of stuff to do and see around here. We'd highly recommend staying here in Nagasaki.

Capsule hotel with unventilated but huge seemingly wooden capsules. There are other rooms as well, which I did not check. I deliberately slept with my head towards the entrance of the capsule, so I don't know if ventilation is an issue. Slept like a log. Very dark after lights out, maybe there should be some soft, dimmed light in the corridor. Breakfast wasn't too too expensive, but it included a lot of things I didn't like, so I didn't get it. Friend got it and enjoyed it, but had to order extra things. Staff was nice, we could store our bags after checkout, while exploring. Price wasn't too bad. They have a very interesting and weird, fun communal area, but we didn't have time to use it.

Great location and service. The room was small but quite enjoyable due to the huge window. The whole building is very nice and stylish. The food (lunch/dinner and breakfast) was very good!! I haven't put 5 star because of one of the staff (all the others were super nice and professional). I initially booked one night and then I contacted them to ask if a late check-in was possible (later than mentioned on the website) and if so, I'd like to book an additional night. I received a message telling me it was possible, and 1h later, another message telling that someone booked the room in the meantime, so it's not possible anymore. I work in hospitality and it's quite strange to me that they didn't at least hold the room 1h, as I clearly mentioned that I was planing to book it. So I had to book another accommodation for the first night. Then, upon check-in, I gave my Japanese driving license (acceptable ID card) and the staff strongly push for me to give my resident card (to check my resident status), while there is not legal reason for that. All the other hotels accept the driving license.
