A nice, refreshing spot along the Nakasendo hiking trail. Great for a rest and enjoying the cold wind from the waterfall. If you get too close, you may get wet!

A small waterfall on the Nakasendo trail between Magome and Tsumago. Really lovely.

Definitely stop here for a little bit when walking the Nakasendo trail. There are 2 small waterfalls here.

Take a break here and enjoy the sound of the waterfalls ! Or, dive right in if you dare !

Scenic waterfall along the nakasendo trail between tsumago and Magome. Falls are named male falls and female falls. Crisp autumn foliage that is on the cusp of the turning red. It would be fabulous in full fall colours. This was probably the highlight of the hike.

Small parking area for a few cars or many come through on foot on the trail. Beautiful falls.

Pictureque location. Worth the 3.5km hike.
