An amazingly beautiful, symbolic place for the capital of Tatarstan, as well as a favorite place of recreation and entertainment for residents of Kazan. The rather long and very well-groomed pedestrian and bicycle embankment of the Kazanka River is replete with very inventive and original places for a fun pastime. Here you can find almost any kind of entertainment to your taste and carefree spend a bright sunny day in a friendly company.

Awesome place to walk around during any time of the day. It’s especially romantic during evening with all those lights giving the impression that stars above you at within your reach. Clean pavement. Plenty of benches to sit and get some rest. Free library in the middle gives you another opportunity to enjoy your quality time reading. Recommend to use mosquito repellent though, since it’s riverside there are huge population of mosquito and flies.

One of the most scenic walks of Russia, on one side you're adorned by the calm and peaceful river and the on the other side you that the majestic Kazan Kremlin. It's a perfect spot to spend the evening with friends and family. You can even hire rental scooters to cover the long expanse but we chose to walk instead.

Beautiful place to walk, in winter is possible to skate, plenty of cafes, and every season the place is decorated differently, most beautfiful decorations are usually in Winter and Summer.

Good place to visit, but beware that it’s only third illuminated at night. Although the light polls are there, most of them doesn’t work. Very common thing for entire Russia, beautiful at the glance but very poor maintained. Place is overcrowded at the weekends. If you decided to take a scooter for ride to the other side of the river, beware there is no scooter lane or bike lane and pedestrian lane is very tiny, you will be trying to squeeze through the people all the time.

Beautiful Place, very lively, especially during the evening. Great place to walk or stroll with family and friends. The lighting during the night looks fabulous. There are carousels which you could ride on. Amazing place, highly recommend!

Beautiful place. Amazing architecture. Eye catching scenery around. Decent atmosphere in the Nearby Masjid.

Great place, a must go! You can rent a bike for indiv.or family.. all long there are speakers with classic songs; soviet, french, italian... there is a big section for children almost at the end of it.. restaurants along the way too, Russian blini and Russian Kvas and beer! Great views on the river. During sunset it is especially pretty.
