After his death, the wave of interest in him subsided somewhat. But the organizers of this museum managed to maintain this fire and not let it completely go out. The museum is small. The cost of visiting is also low. Photography is permitted (no flash). You will spend little time, but the unusual impressions from his work are guaranteed.

Музей расположен очень удобно,в центре на Баумана.Поискала в сети информацию про художника и решила зайти.Вход 160 рублей,экскурсия 400.Нам рассказывал Алексей Вячеславович,сначала про основные работы,потом с чего начиналось творчество художника.За 34 года он успел написать достаточно много картин.Очень красивое свечение получилось за счет смешивания красок,огонь на полотнах как будто горит.Выразительно нарисованы глаза и почти все картины устремляются вверх.Интересно, что некоторые картины сшиты из кусков холста,а также написаны поверх предыдущих вариантов (как Рождение Дуная).Стоит посетить.

We took the excursion and did not regret it, this is not the first time I have visited Konstantin Vasiliev’s exhibitions, but here I discovered many previously unknown versions of works and facts. There are many visitors, the location on Bauman attracts both casual passers-by, locals and tourists. I would like to repeat it. Now about the cons. Wild sounds from the street - it feels like there is a medieval panopticon or a traveling freak show outside the window. And, apparently, you just need to come to terms with this. And the lighting, from my point of view, is extremely poor. Many works are simply impossible to consider because The spotlights are directed very poorly. You may need other lamps or diffusers. In any case, this museum is like a journey into the world of history, magic, legends, and epics. We rested our souls. I recommend it to everyone!

I saw few prints of Vasilyev's pictures. And i wasn't exited about them. I had time in Kazan and decided to visit his museum. I was suprised. Vasilyev was a genuis. I loved his artworks. Instead of read many words it is better just to visit and see them with own eyes.
