It’s a bit of weird place, but not in a bad way, a bit like a lot of Russia, I guess. Great location, good services, nice if slightly dated pool and sauna, and great breakfast. It feels like someone who had never visited the US tried to recreate a great American hotel based solely on the TV show Dallas. Now that’s not a plug for the US or Dallas, but rather for the electric way the hotel is at once a very plush place, but the attendant asks you to wear a shower cap in the pool. Not wrong, per se, just a bit off. If you’re looking for a bit of luxury on your trans siberian trip, but don’t want to stay a Marriott, try the Mirage. You’ll not be disappointed.

Great experience. Nice and very friendly staff and clean rooms. I liked breakfasts as well. Mutch better than hotels in Cyprus and Germany :)

The rooms need maintainance. The lobby is nice. And the views to Kremlin are excellent(request the room with). Reception very kind and helpful. 1st floor bar is very disappointing. Although there are a lot of waiters, we have counted 6, for only 6 clients, the service was really poor and slow. Even for the glass of wine we had to wait like 15 min, while it already been served on a bar stand, none were able to bring it to the table, letting the white wine instead of cold get warm. We requested to adapt a bit the air conditioning, as it been really frozen.. about 16°C...we were not lucky.

Great rooms, good breakfast, excellent bed and clean. Overall a very good place to stay. Lacks a bit in lobby design, but that's not a big deal. Location is great too. Close to major landmarks and the Riverwalk.

Definately not worth 5 stars. Breakfast was cold every morning. Coffee awful. We had dinner in the restaurant. The order took over 1 hour for 2 meals which was not right when it came out. The 1st meal came out in 10 minutes. When the pasta came out it was not as described in the menu, better when it was re-made! They offered us a drink for our trouble which we had to pay for! The pool had tiles missing from the bottom and was very dark. Steam room was out of action. Jacuzzi not warm and no bubbles! Room had almost no Wi-Fi but they did move us to fix the problem. Reception very helpful and friendly.

Very nice hotel. Since last time I've been here internet connection improved a lot. Restaurant staff might be more friendly. And it is cold in restaurant in autumn-winter period.

I do not recommend this hotel. It definitely does not deserve five stars, the hotel does not have a swimming pool in funcion and the site I booked through did not inform me of this. I asked nicely to return money for the my second night, but they didn't want to do that because she said that they published on their website, but I dont have obligation to follow their website!, its their problem with agencies…that's fine, but the female manager immediately started arguing with me. Her colleague Ana translated, I think the manager's name is Alina, in any case the hotel manager does not speak English and they are very rude in their communication. Also in the room the air conditioner is extremely loud, the internet in the hotel also works a little, a little doesn't work. ridiculous and shameful!
