Lovely staff whose friendly and patience! It’s a small pottery store cum cafe that serve nice drinks, snacks and dessert! We order a traditional tea and a red bean shaved ice with brown sugar. The traditional tea was served with traditional sweets such as biscuits and pastry! The traditional tea taste really interesting! The tea is made from jasmine tea roasted with rice and top with foam. The foam is made by vigorously whisking a large bowl of tea with hard water with a wooden whisk. The staff will invite you to a counter to see how they make the traditional tea. She will whisk the foam and explain to you how it’s made. She would even teach you how to drink the tea! You have to hold the tea straight and take a slip of the tea. If you tilt it the foam will touch your nose! If you are have trouble to drink the tea cause of the foam you can use the wooden spoon provided. It’s a good experience! The traditional sweets blend well with the tea! As for the shaved ice, it’s really light and refreshing! The ice were shaved very fine and they were quite generous with the red beans. We had a great time! You can have a look at their potteries for sale they are very pretty potteries!

Delicious shaved ice kakigori (zenzai as they call it in Okinawa) with black sugar. Reasonable price, nice atmosphere. Stop here for a rest during ceramics buying spree.

Relaxing cafe to take a break from pottery shops. The plating is lovely, the service was prompt, unobtrusive, and helpful. I, personally, am not a huge fan of buku buku tea, which is hot water in which roasted brown rice was steeped. There were several items which were out of stock when I was there, possibly due to the New Year holiday being so near. They had other interesting drinks such as golden tea (turmeric tea) as well as shaved ice.

I tasted Buku buku tea and Zenzai here at this gallery cafe with great atmosphere. Located in the middle of Yachimun(pottery)-dori, it is a nice spot for tourits to stop by and rest while enjoying Okinawan dessert. Buku buku tea was simply tea with fluffy foam upon it. Still it was very interesting to experience it. Zenzai, the ice flake dessert was okay.

I’m giving five stars for the friendly staff, delicious treats (和菓子) and good ambiance. I tried bukubuku tea for the first time and honestly, it was not for me. The tea itself is refreshingly good but the foam feels quite weird. The set was 1000 yen. I feel it was worth the experience, plus I was able to rest after strolling Yachimun street in a sunny, hot weather.

Great bukubuku and delicious shaved ice (with cold zensai underneath), with extremely friendly and kind staff, in a beautiful atmosphere! The owner speaks excellent English too. The perfect stop on pottery street.

A welcome pitstop while walking along tsuboya yachimun street. Love the cute and cosy vibes and interesting menu. The staff were very friendly and you can choose what mug to drink your hot drinks out of. We ordered a hot latte and iced matcha zensai and were quite happy with both. Would return to try the brown sugar zensai!

A very relaxing cafe tucked away inside a pottery shop. We found this shop while we we walking and it was a really nice break to rest our legs. I had a beniimo parfait which was delicious and refreshing after the hot day, and my wife got some matcha shaved ice which was also very good and had other Okinawan style snacks in the bottom. Definitely recommended if you are passing by.

👍 This is the place where you can buy lots of local souvenirs back home for friends and relatives. They are not only packaged so attractively but they taste good as well. You can actually sample the snacks before you buy at this shop. This is a small factory located at the back of the shop as well. I...

👍👍 Can't beat it for the price. Great steak for 1,000 and all you eat soup, rice, and salad. Of course not the most amazing cut of steak but for the price it's unbeatable
