You can find there a lot of shops for tourists. However, every shop has the almost the same stuff and the prices are similar, so if you looking for some souvenirs just buy at first shop you find something you like and do not have to bother for looking if there is something cheaper. There are also a lot of restaurants, bars and local fast foods so you will not be hungry there.

It’s the main shopping street in Okinawa. From one end to the other end, without stopping to see or visit any shops, it should take about forty five minutes to an hour to finish the whole stretch. There are many food eateries along this particular street, from your Starbucks and Mac Donald’s to your family run Japanese styled restaurants. Souvenir shops are scattered all over this street and most of them are selling the same thing. Out of this Main Street springs many other small shopping streets. A well known shopping street in Naha city. We spent a whole day there for shopping, site seeing and food. Be careful if you drive there over the weekend during peak hours. Use public transport if possible.

Kokusaidori is a fun and touristy street in Naha which is pretty clean and well organized. You can find many souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, and other fun stores here.

I love areas like this in Japan, and Kokusai Dori was no exception! It is definitely the big touristy kind of thing you expect but if you like that sort of thing like I do, then you will not be disappointed. There are tons of stalls, souvenir shops, food, treats, drinks, etc. Some things are completely overprices whereas some are really reasonable and even cheap compared to the US. I even saw a stall that had no employees, only a scanner for patrons to use themselves. This whole area was such a great vibe, and we never felt unsafe. But there are a lot of small alleyways and different paths, but I felt like there was lighting everywhere and a stall or two opened in every area even near closing time. This is a really fun place to walk and shop around, even if you do not but much and then you have the main street that stays open late that has all of the bars, restaurants, and other nightlife options.

The must go for any tourist in Naha. The one stop place for all your souvenirs and gift shopping, lots of restaurants and small local shops to see. You can easily spend the day here, making a stop at the public market and the department store nearby

This is an okay place to visit if you would like to shop Okinawa souvenirs at once. Nothing really impressed me since I live in Okinawa-si. I prefer things to be sold at shijo hon-dori, which is the traditional market inside of kokusai dori.

Busy street with lots of restaurants and shops for tourists. Breeze from nearby ocean helps with hot days. Try out various famous dishes. Good for teens. Many places to listen to traditional Japanese music.

Lots of shops, some with really tacky things I wouldn't expect from Japan. If you want some souvenirs you probably won't find a better place in the whole town.

Amazing amount of shopping and eating. You can get the Hawaiian style shirts and matching dresses, carttoon paraphernalia, souvenirs, alcohol. This is a must go area. Only minutes from the cruise terminal in Naha. Most stores open between 9 and 10 am

Naha’s unofficial main high street. A bit touristy but lots of interesting shops, restaurants and cafes and just fun things to check out. Worth checking out for a couple of hours.

A nice tourist place destination in Naha ,Okinawa. A lot of shopping and souvenirs stores, restaurants. There’s also a nearby market place called Makishi Public Market where they sell fresh seafood and can be ordered to be cooked by nearby restaurants. Worth visiting if you’re in Naha..

Came to Okinawa for 5 days, and came to this shopping street for 3. Very convenient shopping street with almost anything you need and want. Lots of food and drinks here, also great place to get souvenirs. If you want to buy tax-free goods, I suggest you come by here but also check out Donquijote to get the best deals out of almost everything.

One of the best places we found to do some unique shopping. Almost all vendors took credit cards and are so polite even given the language barriers.

Too many shops. Too many things to see from souvenir to food to night life. However if u enjoy the city or shopping definitely not coming to this part of Japan. Take the drive and tour the island than staying hereeee. But do come visit for food.

The market had a lot of little shops that you can see, though I felt the prices were pretty ended expensive. The street has a lot of shops you can browse through and you can spend a few hours walking through here.

The major attraction of Okinawa, filled with lots of touristy shops. Easy spots for chained store and souvenir stores. It would be quite packed at night.

A lot of small and interesting shops and izakayas all under one roof. Great to visit when the sun outside is too hot or it's raining.

On my first day here it was windy and rainy. Now, the weather is very nice. I stay around here so I can just walk out of my hotel eat and shop around here at any time. There are many food and restaurants. Some open 24 hours.

Please make sure to eat your lunch at Makishi market! Fresh fish and lovely waitresses at Machiguwa (2nd floor)

We were there on a Sunday (purposely) as I read that the main street is closed for activities every Sunday. There were performances and a play area for kids. Not too crowded when we were there. Lots of souvenir shopping along Kokusai Street.

Super fun street with many restaurants, bars and shopping right on the main strip. Very easy to find with public transportation and enough to keep you busy for a couple of days and nights. Fun for all ages.

A whimsical street full of souvenirs shops. Lots of small alleys away from Main Street worth to explore, especially walking to markets and small eateries. Don’t have great expectations than you will enjoy the relax and friendly experience.

Very interesting walking street. However, due to Covid-19 some are closed, or some close earlier. There are local souvenirs, vegetables, fruits such as mango, papaya, ananas, banana, clothes and restaurants. I bought cheap souvenirs and mango which was extremely delicious.
