Grilled pork chops and fries for Kes 750. The pork chops were tender, The fries were okay but the portion was small. Chicken wings,Potato wedges,Chicken skewers,Beef Samosas,Kachumbari and sauces for Kes 1000. Everything was very flavourful, 💯 would recommend it! The platter serves two but if you’re really hungry you can eat it alone😂 PS:It’s only available during happy hour😅 OVERALL VERDICT The ambience is amazing✨ The place is perfect for drinks,small birthday groups and dates They have board games which is a plus The place is kind of tiny so I’d advice you to book in advance to avoid disappointment✨ Definitely going back in future💯

I loved Cafe Kaya because they have board games and the restaurant is lovely. It's a really amazing place to hang out with friends. We had cocktails during happy hour. Their cocktails were a bit too sweet and had small amounts of alcohol. Their food is so delicious and their customer service is great!! They also have great music.

If you haven't been here you're missing out! Food is delicious with proper quantities. Cocktails definitely not watered down especially that 3 for 1k happy hour. Service was much better than most 'high end' restaurants I've been to... Ask for Victoria, she's amazing! Won't post the menu since they already have it online, go enjoy and thank me later.

A nice place to go for a fun date. They have board games you can play for free although there's not much variety. The food is excellent, I loved the bacon and cheese samosas. They also have a great selection of cocktails and there's happy hour in the evenings. However, if you're going in the evenings past 5pm I'd suggest making a reservation so that you get a nice table inside, otherwise you'll be in the balcony outside and it gets a little cold. Parking is also an issue as you have to leave your car on the street, the parking inside is only for those going to Fogo Gaucho. However, the guards do a good job of looking after the cars.

Their cocktails are to die for, try cosmopolitan and thank me later. For the food, I took fries; they were crunchy and really sweet. They also give you games to play while chilling and books too!! We played Scrabble and poker. Their decor is also unique!!

Small space but really cool and vibrant. Definitely have one of the best happy hour deals in town.... 3 cocktails for Kes 1000. Foodwise , had the chicken stir fry which for me was a 3/5 (Could be better). Service was on point... fast and friendly staff. I must note that it was mainly a very young crowd, not sure if it was just the specific day I visited or thats the norm.

This place is only good for strong cocktails during happy hour. Remember to make reservations prior. I do not recommend having a meal here. I ordered lamb chops and fries. The fries were basic at best and the lamb chops were full of oily sections. The chicken skewers were cold and bland. In addition, the waitress was slow and uncooperative.

It's a cute place! You can play games while you wait for your food, a great way to interact with friends. The food is amazing!!! The portions are good meaning you get your money worth! The staff is so nice... I will definitely be going back for the slow cooked barbeque pork ribs!

One of my favourite places in westlands. You just have to fall in love with this cute spot. The details are out of this world, the decor is so unique. And on top of that there are games to play. This is actually so cool because other than enjoying your drink or food you can play games too. Its a perfect place. I love it

Its awesome... The view and antique art on the walls make the place just lovely. Its a spot to meet for a date or friends or even a birthday party. One thing I loved are the indoor games available such as snake game, scramble and monopoly... You won't notice the time pass by as you sip the local beers and well prepared cocktails... I recommend it any day...

Cafe Kaya is an unassuming cafe off Waiyaki Way in Westlands, in the same premises as Fogo Gaucho. Currently confusing to access due to all the roadworks, but once you get there, the food, drinks and ambience are well worth it.

Steak and mashed potatoes was really nice, a bit dry but that’s on me since I didn’t tell them how I wanted it done. The place tends to attract a young crowd, I’d say 18-23 mostly so can get a bit noisy. Ribs & wings + wedges were really really dope and the portion was large. Proper value for money. I eat a lot and I couldn’t finish it. The rice and beef (not sure what the name on the menu was) was pretty basic. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Service was really nice, no complaints here. Tips can’t be paid via M-PESA paybill or card. I don’t like sending money directly to peoples phone numbers but I had no option since I didn’t have cash. Would recommend not driving here. Parking can be an issue. There’s also a lot of commotion at the entrance (for cars).

The location is convenient. Cafe Kaya is located in the Westlands so it's easy to get to from anywhere in the city. The service is top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Cafe Kaya. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great happy hour, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere.

I think Cafe Kaya is at a convenience place in Westlands. Their drinks are good and food is good too. Their food portions were a bit small and their service a bit slow. I did enjoy being there because of the convenience in location 📍

Food was good though they come in little portions and was served slightly cold. Had the cafe Kaya wings which were a 8/10. The house steak was also really good 9/10. The drinks -berry mojito and classic mojito- on the other hand were great 9/10. Service was slow. The place was under staffed and we had to wait a while before we got served and even for refills as well. Atmosphere was good though they should have a section for smokers away from everyone else as not everyone is okay with the scent of it. Overall very good place would definitely recommend

Location is very convenient. Ambience average for me. I had BBQ pork which was very tender and tasty. Service was excellent- our service hostess was very attentive. Definitely coming back for the happy hour :)
