Was
I
lucky
with
this
one!
Came
to
it
on
the
recommendation
of
a
Thai
lady
at
another
temple
and
boy
did
I
get
a
interesting
time.
I
turned
up
expecting
to
find
another
temple
with
all
the
glorious
beauty
you
come
to
expect
in
the
area
only
to
find
that
a
festival
was
starting.
Before
I
could
take
any
photo’s
of
the
buildings
or
statues
I
get
caught
up
in
the
event.
People
dancing,
music,
food
being
handed
out,
the
people
of
the
area
are
very
welcoming.
As
I
take
photos
some
Monks
turn
up
and
a
palaver
starts,
obviously
very
important
people,
from
what
I
could
gather
a
new
building
had
been
built
and
as
part
of
the
end
of
raining
season
festival
they
were
celebrating
its
construction.
Inside
Monks
and
important
looking
people,
outside
about
a
hundred
or
so
locals.
I
am
soon
ushered
into
the
new
temple
building
and
directed
to
the
side
where
I
am
allowed
to
take
photo’s
and
video
of
the
proceedings.
I
stood
and
watched
the
whole
event
showing
as
much
respect
as
I
knew
how
to,
bowing
to
the
right
people
and
saying
hello
in
Thai
to
all
who
looked
towards
me,
of
which
they
were
all
very
friendly.
I
am
very
honoured
to
of
been
allowed
to
witness
their
holy
event
and
cant
believe
my
luck
to
of
been
up
close
to
view
the
whole
thing.
(To
the
locals,
Thank
you
so
much
for
such
a
wonderful
experience,
I
feel
truly
privileged
having
been
apart
of
your
holy
occasion)
The
Tai
Lue
building
with
original
wooden
roof
is
very
beautiful
and
now
accompanied
by
a
new
smaller
temple
building
of
the
same
style
but
is
not
yet
complete
and
uses
some
more
modern
materials.
