👍👍 Cruise from NJ will take you from Liberty state park to Statue of Liberty. Actually there are 2 stops. One is Ellis Island and second is Statue of Liberty. We always skip Ellis island per our interest and go to Statue. There is plenty of parking for folks who are visiting by car and catching ferry.... People often mention Liberty, ferry, time, Ellis, Statue, Island, tickets, line, island, boat,

Cruise from NJ will take you from Liberty state park to Statue of Liberty. Actually there are 2 stops. One is Ellis Island and second is Statue of Liberty. We always skip Ellis island per our interest and go to Statue. There is plenty of parking for folks who are visiting by car and catching ferry. From parking to ferry it is 3-4 min walk (7-8 min walk for slow walker). Ferry tickets are like (I think don’t remember exactly but it is is in the range). $24 for an adult $18 for Seniors $12 for kids You can spend 2-3 hours easily. I prefer not to choose too much sunny times. Evenings are better!

Bought walk up General admission tickets without problem. Just missed departure so next boat about 35 minutes wait so fortunately weather was ok at the time as absolutely no shelter for people waiting once they've cleared security. Courteous and professional security staff (except one jobsworth).

We really enjoyed our trip on Statue City Cruises out of Liberty State Park. We purchased tickets ahead of time online and made it through security and on the boat without issue. If you get motion sick then you may want to take something before hand. Ellis Island had a really interested audio tour. Then on to Liberty Island and back to Liberty State Park. Concessions folks were very helpful at keeping the line moving but best to pack a snack. Beautiful views of lower Manhattan!

What a wonderful experience! We came on a weekday and booked tickets ahead of time and the security screening was very fast. The ferry ride was great with amazing views. Spent about 1:20 on Ellis Island and could have spent another 40 minutes to see most of the museum. Over to the Statue of Liberty and we were able to go straight up to the pedestal. The views were incredible! Spent about 1:20 on Liberty Island but didn’t get to see all of the newer museum. Couldn’t access the ferry schedule online (link wasn’t working), but the ferries are every 40 - 45min from the state park and the islands. Parking for ~5 hours was $7.

Statue of liberty has been something that we see in movies and in pictures all the time, it is that icon that represents the United States of America, and specifically New York.. so thanks to the Statue Cruise, i had the chance of finally seeing this famous monument in real life in front of me! And i should mention that the trip was so organized (except for the part where we had to wait in queues for hours..) but i was so disappointed by the statue itself, because i spent my life thinking it is huge and big, only to find out it is smaller than my expectations. But overall i loved it!

We liked the City Cruise from New Jersey, it was quite and no lines . Perfect timing . We didn’t buy tickets in advance since May it’s not a busy time . No lines at all to get tickets or getting on the City Cruise.

Even though they're the only way to travel to Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty... everyone is courteous and helpful. From those that help you board and disembark... to those that work concessions. Always a great trip.

Horrible experience trying to get out of Ellis Island. 1h30 on the queue, nobody would come tell us whats going on… a line full of kids, elderly. Just horrible and a monopoly that offers bad service. Would NOT RECOMMEND, disrespectful

Absolutely hassle-free and straightforward ticketing process and the actual cruises. Be prepared to go through airport style screening. Backpacks of all shapes and sizes are barred from the liberty Island statue area. Lockers are available at 25c.

Before boarding on ship while standing and waiting in line road that connects to ship was shaking since floating on water it seems like u r fainting. In the sheep 3 levels are there. 1st one is covered good for stroller people but doesnot have cozy seating arrangements. 2nd one covered good seating arrangements take stares to take ur stroller. 3rd one is open and best view. Staff are very helpfull.

We took the cruise from Jersey City. It was good and less crowded than the one from battery park. Strongly recommend taking it from Jersey. We skipped getting down at Ellis island and directly got down at Liberty. We had the pedestal tickets which was great. The pedestal tickets are limited so recommend booking in Advance as they get over soon.

on first boat from New Jersey 8am. Need 25cents (quarter) to put all bags into locker when entering statue. FYI if you’re wanting crown entry must buy tickets 4 months in advanced they only allow 500 a day for crown entry.

If you order tickets online in advance you can get access to the pedestal and crown. The museum was interesting and informative. I have been on the Liberty island multiple tomes with friends and family - always worth it, always would go again. It’s the atmosphere, the view- everything is just amazing. You feel free there.

My dear friends , A memorable moments plus Stayed togather to reach the liberty 🗽 statue. 2023. NY. NJ. USA. Very much cheerful and thrilling experiences while the water was very much in a dancing phase due to wind and storm alert. It was not so steady or peaceful but every citizen including myself, my family members had really enjoyed it. Thanks again the captain with whose safe & secure operations we all had seen the statue of 🗽 liberty very great way. Thanks.

We went late morning on a Saturday in July, got out of security and board the boat with no waiting. Visited liberty Island only due to travel time, but it was a very pleasant visit and we only waited in the ferry line about five minutes or less before the next ferry came and we got right on. It was a very scenic ride and the employees were helpful.

Excellent! Parked at Liberty State Park, got off in NY. Took Liberty Landing back to the park. Highly recommend getting on in NJ, the wait line in NY when we got off was over 2.5 hours! Ellis Island was very informative and can spend 30 mins to a few hours there, depending on your interests. Statue of Liberty was beautiful! Loved our trip, thank you!!

The cruise is well maintained and the boys came on time and boarded people with courtesy. Has cafe for water, coffee, tea and snacks on board with cash/card. Excellent views of Manhattan, Liberty Island and Ellis Island

Way too many people and ferry service insufficient for the number of visitors. Stood in line waiting for ferries longer than we spent viewing the statue and museums. We should have never gotten off the ferry at Ellis Island because we were stuck there in line trying to get back to Battery park. Do better.

The only official cruises to the statue of liberty, buy in advance (online). Offers two separate routes from NY and NJ each with attractive prices

Loved the experience! When exiting the ferries, of course takes a bit but they offer food and drinks!

It's a good service and works how it should. The cruises depart in the schedule and the queues are not so long. However the access to the service is a bit big, I mean, you have to walk for reaching here there are no direct buses or trains.

I was waiting in a giant line on Ellis island to go back to New York, in about one hour’s time there were two ferry’s that came to pick some people up, the ferry that was there when I joined the line, and the ferry that was there which got me out of the line. There were at least two more ferries worth of people in line after the ferry I was on left and I couldn’t see another Statue City Cruises ferry, even though I knew there were at least four from seeing them earlier that day. On top of that, I was kept waiting outside in the winter time on a windy island, with only the clothes on my back to keep me warm. The ferry ride itself wasn’t even as good because they take in about five times as many people as they have seats, making it quite cramped. I’m not saying they shouldn’t have done that when we were trying to leave Ellis island, but all three rides were just about the same in terms of passenger count, which contributed to the Ellis island problem in the first place. In short, I will not be visiting the Statue of Liberty or Ellis island until this company gets its act together.

Beautiful place to visit with the family, great for a barbecue, cycling, and with a beautiful view of New York and the Statue of Liberty. It also provides beautiful photos.

you get to go to ellis island and the statue of liberty, overall a very pleasant experience with the company, even though some things were unpleasant but mostly beyond the company's control: -we took public transport to liberty state park and the walk to the terminal was really long, esp with kids -then more distances had to be covered between ticket buying desk and security and boat - my kids were champs to not give up at that point! -the queue after check-in, before getting onto boat, was uncovered - it was a hot sunny day and waiting there was the hardest bit at the end, my kids understandably went on strike as soon as they got into the shade on the boat - and couldnt really enjoy the unforgettable views of the statue of liberty (from the bay, from boat) anymore...

this is second time visiting Statue of Liberty and first time with State city Cruises and it was overall good staff was very friendly and welcoming. However if you are visiting in summer it’s goof but winter be careful with the bizarre cold breeze and there is no shelter at all once you are done with security have to wait till the cruise arrives so make sure your body is covered with warm clothes.

The experience is really fun for everyone at a decent price. I'd recommend taking at least half a day if you are interested in viewing the museum at Ellis Island besides the Statue of Liberty. If you are with kids, make sure to have some food and drinks beforehand especially in the time slots for later since they run out of items later in the day.

Good communication throughout, well spaced times in between ferry's, staff was extremely pleasant. And of course the islands were well with the money paid.

Great national treasure and yet so easily ruined by the cruise company. I usually give very good reviews for businesses. I want them to thrive. But o boy, this is a horrible experience. It is the Memorial weekend. We wanted to spend quality time with kids showing them the Statue of Liberty. When we got there, seeing the long lines we decided to purchase tickets online using the QR code provided at entrance of the ticketing building. Yet the website was down and won’t let us purchase tickets online. We ended up waiting in long lines to get tickets inside the old train station. I had encounters with two staff members, both were indifferent to our questions. One of them realizing extremely long lines asked folks to “wrap the line”. Apparently the long line was blocking the entrance to some forgettable place. I asked the gentlemen inside the ticketing booth about the website being down and his response was equally frustrating. He suggested we were on the wrong website for the purchase. Come on. It is the memorial weekend and you know ahead it is going to get crowded. Yet no preparation ahead of time to accommodate fellow passengers feeling proud of being American. We deserve better. Once inside the ferry, almost everyone skipped the Ellis island as we already waited more than an hour to get on the ferry. Such a shame.

I am totally disappointed!!! We came at 8:45am in Liberty State park as the website says 9am, however, the guy at the gate gave us a wrong information saying that he will open the security gate at 9:30am and the boat will depart 9:55am. Given this information, me and my family spent some time taking photos at the park. When we head back, it was 9:28am and a new guy said that the boat just left!!!! He said the schedule was 9:30am for the boat to depart!!! What a waste of our time!!!!

Nice ferry ride. Crowded but plenty of seats. Get there early to sit on outside seats.

Only buy direct from "Statue Cruises"! They are the only authorized company selling tickets to Liberty Island and into the statue. All others are just brokers and will charge an extra fee for making the purchase for you.

It was certainly a great experience going to liberty Island and they did a great job getting us on and off the boat in a quick fashion. It was a little difficult to understand the schedule and with some features being closed it would’ve been nice to know ahead on the website so we could plan accordingly. My advice would be get to the ferry earlier than you think. It took us more time to buy tickets, go through security, and wait in lines than what we were expecting and missed our targeted time.
