What better than treating your taste buds to a sumptuous comfort meal at Gam's Delicacy. The food was tasty. Less spicy. This is for the third time i am eating Assamese food and I am very enthusiastic when it comes to Assamese food. I will recommend this place. Spotless. Reasonable.

They served very authentic Assamese cuisine. And the ambience was nice too. But the service was little slow.

The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior decor was tasteful, and the lighting was just right, setting the perfect mood for an enjoyable evening. The service provided by the staff was exemplary. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and accommodating special dietary requests. The waitstaff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal without being intrusive. Now, let's talk about the food - it was simply exceptional! Each dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was artful. It was evident that the chef put a lot of thought and effort into creating each dish. From the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, every bite was a culinary delight. The menu had a great variety of options to suit different tastes, and the ingredients used were fresh and of high quality. It was evident that the restaurant takes pride in sourcing the best ingredients to ensure an outstanding dining experience. I must mention the wine selection as well. The sommelier's recommendations were spot on, and the wine complemented the food perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The portion sizes were generous, and we left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The prices were reasonable considering the exceptional quality of the food and service.

Delicious, home-style cooking, low on spice and grease. This restaurant specializes in food from the North-East (in particular Assam, of course) though they do also offer the Punjabi/Mughlai food popular in Delhi. You can order a la carte, though if you're a smaller group, ordering a vegetarian thali (with a non-vegetarian dish on the side, if you want) is a good option. We did this, ordering four vegetarian thalis, a borali fish curry, and a pork fry. All the dishes were delicious, and the bill came to an unbelievable Rs 1320 - for four adults and one child! Excellent value for money. Plus, surprisingly efficient, friendly staff. Thoroughly commercial restaurants can take a lesson or two from this place.

If you are from North-east India and you are looking for the flavours of Assam, this is the best place to be in Delhi. We literally ate like people who haven't eaten in a long time and got a bill of Rs 1500. ( 4 pork dishes, 1 chicken, 1 fish, rice, dal and salad). Pork dry fry was amazing. The waiters are absolutely courteous. Already missing it.

Super pathetic food, services and even staff! I visited here recently! They have given menu and 8 out of 10 items are not available! Tables were dirty and staffs were super lazy to response! Over increasing price! It will be worth if taste is good! Order paneer chilli and got chicken chilli! One word suggestion- if you are vegetarian, don’t go here! If you are non vegetarian should be very lucky so that your food item is available!

Delicious food with ethnic taste. Food items with least spices ---------> healthy. Visitors advised to visit the restaurant🍴 to taste an extraordinary delicious and ethnic food items of Assam. Eco friendly and good hospitality. Peaceful environment. Central place and well maintained road connected. Number of staffs need to be increased for smooth service. Assam House needs to show Gamusa on the reception as cultural symbol.

This newly made restaurant is vibrant and tastefully furnished. The food seems quite authentic too. Though we couldn't get any momos for lunch, the veg thali was interesting, with a big portion of rice along with two leafy veggies, aloo mash, a dal, a raw papaya puree that was supposed to be an appetizer (this we came to know only at the end of the meal when a knowledgeable server explained it to us). The mutton and duck fry and chicken gravy were okayish.

Gams Delicacy's chicken fry is a symphony of flavors and crispiness that left my taste buds dancing. The perfect blend of spices and the golden crunch make it a must-try for any chicken enthusiast. Each bite is a savory delight that keeps you coming back for more.

Went to Gam's Delicacy after a gap of few months. Food has been good always. Several dishes in the menu were not available (was available earlier). On enquiry we were informed that they are transitioning and will soon be taken over by another group ( Maihang). Hopefully they live up to their reputation and we have a place for home food, away from home. Best wishes !!

+1 to my bucket list of Indian state "bhawan" located in Delhi It is newly constructed building in Chanakyapuri. Was waiting for them to open for public. It is one of the beautiful state houses situated in Delhi. The paintings in corridor will definitely slow down your speed. They have a restaurant named as game's delicacy. I tried chicken with banana flower for first time, and it was damn tasty. Became a fan of jujubepickle Must try this restaurant if you want to have Assam, India food.

Had veg thali and pork today. Below expectation and the place is run like a road side stall. No professionalism. Sad to say it's a shadow of yesteryear Gams Delicacy. Wake up u have a way to go. They have a captive customer base, the Assam House residents hence there's isn't any effort to improve the standard. Sorry but one star is just too much for the shoddy food and the below par service.

Great food - especially Veg. Thali, which has unlimited refills. Roti/Tandoor was not available; which serves to further emphasize that the restaurant focuses on Assamese cuisine. Very limited vegetarian offerings, but the ones available are very good. Highly recommend the thali.

The setting of this place is absolutely charming. The cuisine served here is truly delectable. The staff members are courteous and attentive. During my visit, I decided to try their vegetarian thali and was extremely pleased. The fried vegetables, particularly the broccoli and potato dish, were exceptionally delicious. It was a fantastic culinary experience. Moreover, the presentation of the food was quite appealing. The use of brass plates and bowls added an elegant touch to the serving style. Overall, it was a delightful experience both in terms of taste and aesthetics.

The first time I tried an Assam house restaurant, they were serving their own traditional food and the atmosphere was looking awesome. Especially veg thali, they served a really awesome combination of dishes. I highly recommend this hotel when you cross this way.

Authentic Assamese food, rare to find in Delhi . Thali was good.. Reasonably priced.

Authentic Assamese food available here, which is what we wanted, considering that our family is partly Assamese. Was quite delicious. As expected the staff was very polite and helpful. We talked in Assamese. Even my 7 years old grandson enjoyed himself. The washroom was good. Overall cleanliness, however, could be improved.
