Every time I have gone here something interesting happens. I saw a bird swoop down and catch a frog for lunch. Another time I had to help a turtle back into the pond. The former Osawa family house in this park is worth seeing. It was well maintained and the volunteers explained various things to us. There are 61 pillars outside the house, and although they are not very thick, they protect the house from earthquakes and wind. Lovely park area with a thatched roof house from that Edo period, a small steam train (for viewing only), Nice big pond with ducks and fish. If you go in summer it will be infested with mosquitoes, but every other season it is wonderful!
