Super clean with COVID-19 measures in place as of 26th June 2022 so order and take away style for hot and cold meals. The bar is open anytime and you can choose from a great selection of alcohol (beer, wine, sake, Shochu, etc). The lower floor is only for beverages where people can enjoy calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Here on the day it reopened after over a year being closed. Buffet is now a service counter but the menu is decent. Snacks are very poor with just nuts and cookies on offer in small bags. Alcohol offerings are fine and all other non alcoholic drinks are catered for.

I flew JAL First Class from 20 June LHR to HND and then Business Class from NRT to MEL 26 June and Aoki (26th June 2023 at 4pm) refused to let me even look at the First Class lounge in NRT. The food was terrible in Business Class on Japan Airlines Sakura Lounge. I received cold chips with my fish basket and one piece of beef in my JAL beef curry. I've flown First Class on Emirates a number of times including on this trip from Brussels to Dubai to NRT and this airline knows how to deliver premium service on the ground and in the air. I had a massage by a real person (not a machine like Japan Airlines), shoe shined and white shoes cleaned like new and a wagu beef cooked to my liking with scallops as entré. In contrast, the Sakura Lounge was loud, overcrowded, and felt worse than Starbucks at the departure gates. Japan Airlines must pay attention or I will leave very negative feedback with my network and never fly with them again.

Very spacious, plenty of charging outlets. Not a lot of food, just snacks but plenty of drink choices. The shower was the most luxurious and perfectly timed amenity I've had, especially after walking in the Tokyo heat all day. Being able to reset made my trip much more enjoyable. Large bathrooms, lots of jets, great pressure, perfect! Thank you JAL!

Food in business class was pretty underwhelming, I got the curry and a salad and both were VERY salty. I would recommend just skipping it and grabbing a drink and a snack. Long lines for food and for the showers- I wasn’t able to take a shower as there were too many people(10) ahead of me in line so if you want a shower put your name down ASAP. For being JAL airlines lounge in Tokyo Narita I was expecting much better.

Excellent lounge. The food is high quality, personnel friendly and ready to help. Nice dining 🍽 areas! Lot of space and charging possibilities. Some business phone cells available downstairs. All in all a good lounge. Negative point, the lounge closes sharp to expected departure... our flight (last of the day) was delayed and we had to step out.

Awesome lounge even with Covid restrictions in place, shower facilities were magnificent. Food is limited but ala carte ordering is done and fresh made to order sushi is available as well. Everything tasted delicious and good selection of food and drinks. Seating is ample however not much for long term overnighters. Wifi however is barely useable when there is a high guest load, something that needs to be remedied especially for a first class lounge. Service impeccable as always with JAL staff.

Clean and spacious as one would suspect. Very relaxing as it’s quiet as well. Not a lot of food or drink choices but that’s fine, one cannot complain too much. I had the beef curry which was awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Overall good experience. Great way to end a good stay in Tokyo.

Quite luxurious lounge provided seatings, showers and quick bites/drinks. When visited in June 2022, I ordered through a QR code and delivered to the table. Coffee machine, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are served. Shower queues are unbelievable.

Business class gives you access. I found plenty of space and amenities for a nice two hour stay. Enjoyed the dining, drinks and comfortable seating. They provide massage chairs, showers and some beds. A really nice lounge.

the layout and atmosphere of this sakura lounge is excellent, but the food offerings were somewhat disappointing. the 2 Japanese options were delicious but that's about it. i appreciate the small portions but you do need to keep on returning for more servings. at least tjis allowed for a proper sit down dining. at least the free pour bar had some good options. sake was good. I arrived 9pm, an hour before closure and they wouldn't allow me to book a shower.

7:00 pre open and 7:30 staring meal services. It is one of the best international business class lounges in my entire life. It has still been getting upgraded.

Very good lounge with great spread of food ranging from Japanese fares to western breakfast. All kinds of drinks are also available ranging from fruit juices to coffee to beer to wines. Courteous and attentive service by the staff. Phone charging facilities are also available.

They have a lot of comfortable seats and really good food. They also have small rooms to take calls and they have some massage chairs. The whole area is very bright with large windows that see the runway. Very silent, clean and comfortable lounge experience overall.

Kinda small but, surprisingly easy to find a table. One of the vendors promoted western food. When I checked it out, not much to get excited about. The tempura was very tasty. I did see a lot of people eating from the noodle shop. Also the Creme Brulee is very worth the little bit hier prices.

Clean lounge with good food and impeccable service. Perhaps a little sterile, but great way to relax on a layover. Showers were well furnished and maintained.

Nice lounge, especially with the shower facility, which my wife and I used, after a long 14-hour layover at Narita International Airport before the next flight to Honolulu. We were there early and were denied early entry, as the Lounge has a time limit of 3 hours before departure. While waiting to be admitted, we used the seats at the departure gate that allowed us some rest. There was a water dispenser nearby, along with toilet facilities. So disappointing there is no entry even if you are early and when there are not many passengers patronising the lounge, perhaps due to Covid-19 pandemic. The range of food available is limited, as well, but the drinks offered suffice. We did, however, get our needed rest and meal at the lounge, which was what we wanted.

Ala carte menu, only a few choices, and always the same for time to time this year i think. and one more thing that tb hey should improve in my opinion, JAL shall train their ground staff to smile!!

Large expansive lounge but dining only available on the upper level. Since reopening from covid there is no longer any self serve options- you must order from the staff. It does get quite busy during peak transit times but the curry and rice is still top quality. I can’t say much about the chips since they seem to be made in batches and not to-order. The downstairs is expansive and offers great views of the airport and also has a business center/smoking area in the back

Visited at 2 pm on the Sunday 30th of April transit to usa . We had a stopover of 3 hours We had wonderful seating face the apron so that your 3 hours passes by without any montony. There were absolutely no choice for vegetarians barrine penne pasta. Excellent choice of coffee , wines and beer. Coffee was excellent and service levels been exceptionall. The biggest issue was toilet for such a big lounge there was one for male and one for female. In the male section there 2 urinals and 2 toilets. Both the toilet were perennially occupied and despite my several attempts to use them was in vain The toilets has auto wash which squirts warm water and you can choose a direction for the spray . This is good and hygiene and also you need not waste much of the paper They should definitely need to increase no fo toilets consider the floating visitors and the people have long transit time.

Very satisfied with overall experience there. Reception is fast. Food & Beverage Not a lot of options for food but everything I tried was great. I like the Pana cotta served. More options for drinks at the bar counter downstairs. Do head downstairs if you prefer quieter experience and less crowded space. Shower & Massage Didn’t need to queue for shower room. It has everything you’ll need amenity kit, hairdryer. Spacious and practical. The massage room is just right outside shower. Control is in Japanese but they do provide a simple user manual in English. A very relaxing experience while waiting for flight!

This lounge is just after the immigration and is spacious with dining on the first floor. Food options ranging from simple croissants to Japanese or American breakfasts are available. The staff is efficient, friendly, and attentive. Certainly, a great place to rest while waiting for boarding.

The was the Sakura First lounge. The only lounge available due covid restrictions. It’s large and airy. Lots of facilities such as baggage lockers, massage chairs plus the usual showers etc. the lounge seemed very busy and the catering was a bit like a canteen. I’m sure when the business class lounge is re opened. Everything will be back to normal where you can enjoy the peace and quiet atmosphere.

Sakura lounge in Narita is a great lounge. The shower rooms, massage rooms, resting areas, dining areas……various of beverages ….wine, whiskey, sake, draft beer, spirits, soft drinks. Only the choice of foods is limited and disappointed. As they serve in order, so the no much to choose from. Maybe after the Covid is got , it will be improved. Not to mention, the meals on flights was not as good as ANA (personally speaking)

JAL business class, sold through American Airlines. The AA/JAL fare from SEA to BKK was $9429 total for our 2 round trips tickets. My husband and I have flown biz class from Seattle to BKK many times with Eva air. First time trying Japan airline (because Covid ...long story). The onboard experience was a shocking disappointment in comparison with Eva. The quality of everything on our past flights with Eva was top-notch, especially the fresh and incredible dining experience. Whereas at JAL, the Salmon and other meat were mostly over cooked, I had to spit the food back out after one bite. I asked for noddles, again, Eva air had impressive restaurant quality noddles, JAL had instant cup noddles only, really? For biz class! When comes to inflight entertainment, the selection was very limited, and 90% of the movies came with Japanese subtitle which’s very annoying. Sakura Lounge at Narita offered beer and coffee, the only “food” in there was small packaged seeds with two pieces of almonds in each pack. The Eva Air lounges are top quality in all regards including food choices.

The food was excellent; the space was extremely clean and well kept; and the staff was professional. Great place to take a break while traveling.

Always enjoying the visit of JAL's Sakula frist class lounge because I always like their Beer curry bowl with a ice cold beer. I just can't pinpoint which Sakula lounge I was in, so I just wrote my review for this one. I was in the one in the international terminal (I believe is terminal 2). The staffs always so friendly and helpful that they monitoring your eyes, once you make eye contact with any of them they will come towards you and offer their help. I have little bit trouble to use the QR code to order food, one of the lady quickly use her iPad and helped me. To have access of this lounge is definitely one of the reason to fly JAL.

Very impressed with the lounge. Super liked the locker storage where you can really sit back relax without watching your bags. The dining food & drinks options are incredible & delicious. Service level is top notch as well, would fly Japan Airline Premium Economy again just to visit this lounge.
