DESA Consulting changed my life in a very positive way. When I was diagnosed with Type-2 Diabetes, my weight was escalating. I also suffer from years of Depression which was making my life like Hell. I was referred to see Shabby as an educator. For 6 months I procrastinated because I didn’t see the point of someone showing me how to read labels. Soon I was on insulin where my life was going ‘No Where’. I decided that I had nothing to lose & just give DESA Consulting a go. Well, it was more than nothing that I had expected. It was a ‘Life change’ experience. Shabby was a force of inspiration, motivator, caring & understanding with knowledge that inspired me. Shabby redirected the course of my life to where I had to re-evaluate my eating behavior, fitness level with the right dose of medication & vitamins. I lost 35 kgs & I am so proud of myself of this great achievement. It was very hard work with lots of discipline. Seeing Shabby on a regular basis at DESA Consulting, motivated me not to give up. Today, I am committed to eating a healthy meal & exercise every day, as I want to have more energy, be more alert, & get a better night’s sleep. The lifestyle choices we make impacts our physical health, mental health & well-being. I wanted to make these better choices & have a healthy lifestyle. DESA is a lovely modern & comfortable building to visit. The staff are always so lovely. They are friendly, efficient & always go above & beyond. But most of all, all the staff are extremely professional.

I was seen promptly by the plastic surgeon and upon seeing my wound and knowing that I had planned to travel overseas the following week scheduled my surgery for a few day time. The surgery was completed and I was seen as a follow up appointment a few days later The wound was inspected thoroughly and I was given given instructions on how to care for the wound whilst travelling. I found all the staff at the consulting rooms very professional and friendly.

The surgery is easily accessible ,reception is welcoming and polite the seats all have arm rests and for a very large person like me are impossible to sit on, so either wider seats or seats with no arm rests would be great or one or two of those would be ideal The staff were helpful in getting me onto a comfortable seat Dr Ahmadi is stern but comforting in her explanations of what she wants from me and is a nice person I look forward to taking her consultations

Absolutely brilliant, from the receptionist who bends over backwards to accommodate patients, and the surgeon ( Mr D Webb) who listens to what you say, checks you out thoroughly and tries other options of pain relief before considering surgery. I wish I had these people 7 years ago. Highly recommend this practice.

First visit and left feeling a sense of hope for my health, that I was genuinely cared for and that the practitioner I met with was onboard for the long haul. Couldn’t be happier.

The premises is modern light and tidy and the staff have the utmost of professionalism. They are flexible enough to meet special needs in a non quibble fashion. I loved my session with the diabetes educator, she was friendly and non-judging. I felt as if my situation was being well accommodated by her. She explained easily how to approach my diabetes from using my glucose machine to diet and exercise. She is pleasant and friendly and I felt really good after my first session with her.

Consulted with Shabnam, she is absolutely awesome in her area coming with vast knowledge and experience. The front desk staff also are very polite and client centric. Would recommend Shabnam for diet, diabetic and weight management.
