Good food, slow service and the price for roasted meat is really expensive. I don't recommend Getva for a quickbite.

Had a pleasant 1month stay there.Clean King Size room, good and fast Room Maintenance , Taste Food in Restaurant and Outside Bar. Would mention great work of Tsige and Gabriel at Draft Beer dot. The only weak point is the lack of communication, 95% of the Personnel speak very low level of English or doesn't understand it,could be improved.

I like that the lobby and hallway feel grand and spacious (there's a garden in the large stairway area), while the rooms are small and cozy (so they'd get warmer quicker). There's some attention paid to details too. I appreciated having a place where I could unload my luggage and that the was a small bottle of lotion in the washroom that camr in handy in such a cold and dry city. There were two things I didn't like, though. The food was substandard (I had their vegetarian firfir twice) and the window beside my shower seemed to partly face the dozens of windows on the other side of the hotel.

Totally it is good. Some services shoud upgrade with moder technology as the country have. There shoud be immidate sulf–adjusted electric power supply. It shoud also open for disable person such as whellchair. So make it easy to all user

During my stay at the hotel, i enjoyed best of their services. Their cocktail, traditional coffee, juices, conference room, beds, outdoor seats, campfire, ... are the few among the memories i have at Getva Hotel. However, i observed waitress inability to host large number of customers at a time which has come from lack of experience or exposure which need to be addressed. They get confused to manage orders during such event and what they do is only going around

Looks nice and would have been a 3 star if things were working. The internet, very slow. Drain in shower not working But the room was nice and I enjoyed the stay, expect for the shower. I don't know if it was a blocked drain or a combination of a blocked drain and a tilted shower. The floor was full of water when I was taking my shower The food in the restaurant was good, but otherwise it was a disaster in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet, well, there was toast that I could eat.

Stayed for four nights for work with two colleagues. The availability of hotels in Debre Bihan is very limited and thus, Getva was really the only option. At first we were told that there was no vaccanies because whilst they have over 80 rooms, many of them are permanently booked by companies (yet they are mostly empty). After some discussion, rooms became available! The rooms were run down and not well taken care of. The sheets had stains (but the bed was comfortable), mould in the bathroom and the windows didn’t close well, so when it rained, water leaked in the room. The shower did not drain, and the towels were dirty. The room rate includes breakfast at the onsite restaurant. The food looks and tastes old, tables are not clean or set, and the customer service is very poor. Poor communication between staff which results in delays in food orders and incorrect food served and the restaurant is always running out of produce. Overall, service and food is poor, rooms are not clean and availability of rooms is dependant on which staff member you speak with. Little options in Debre Bihan but Getva really needs a facelift and to improve their communication based on the price charged

Hotel needs a full makeover; however service is quite good. Its the best place to stay in Debre Berhan since there are not many good options.

This place to my knowledge is the only good place in DB suitable for tourists. The new building has more comfortable rooms with affordable prices. Saying this the management should strive for excellence at all times and ward off complacency.

I did not receive an amenity kit, the breakfast was terrible, and the shower was only warm, not hot.
