Lovely room! Super clean, luxurious bathrobes!!! We thought that was a deluxe addition to a regular room. The staff at the front desk are very welcoming, kind and accommodating! The restaurant in this hotel is amazing. Again wonderful staff, super efficient. Great service!Great pizza and an all around interesting menu and homemade everything! Also the location is very central! We can't wait to come back to Nelson we loved everything about it đź’š

Hotel room window was looking against a wall. No option to open window at all. Old room, bad smell. Shower no pressure. Reception did not allow for a late check out (1h later) without extra charge on a Sunday! I will never stay in this hotel again... much nicer options in town.

Truly one of if not the best stay at any Best Western I have stayed at. I felt treated like royalty. Every staff member I encountered was awesome and helpful. The room was clean, amenities like the hot tub excellent and appreciated. Excellent across the board. Kudos to the staff here.

Great hotel. Hot tub and fitness centre are decent. Only complaint is you can’t open a window to get fresh air in the rooms (or at least not in mine)

Excellent location. A great restaurant besides the hotel where I could have a voucher for breakfast. Delicious.

Great stay! Amazing restaurant attached to this hotel for breakfast. Would highly recommend. Few items broke in the hot tub area but overall great value

Rooms were nice, quiet. Hot tub was great, nice that it was open till 11 pm. Service was great. Parking was in the lot across the street. Restaurant attached was ok, but not a lot of selection.

Overall a nice hotel and the staff up front is great. Parking is a bit of a pain as you need to park across the street and it fills up quickly. Other than the parking, no complaints.

This is a very decent hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff were polite and accommodating. Our king sized bed was comfortable. The attached restaurant was a great place to eat, especially for breakfast. Although the hotel is on Baker Street… the main shopping area in Nelson… it is on a rather shabby portion of Baker Street. There was construction on the street across from the hotel, and a lot of shabby sidewalks and pavement nearby. Although Nelson is in a naturally beautiful area, much of the city seems to need a cleanup and a fresh coat of paint (not the hotel, of course). Since our stay in Nelson was in August, I assume we saw it at its best. There are things to see and do in the area… but very little of interest in Nelson town itself.

Cozy rooms with comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff that's always able to help. Big bathtub. The location is great if you want to explore all the shops and bars

We were at the hotel on our honeymoon, after changing hotels. We loved it and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, Very LGTBTQIA2 accepting. We will definitely be back for our anniversary.

Very nice place very expensive. Only accepts credit cards. If you're coming from the UK your VISA card is considered a credit card. I got refused my debit card. This made by trip very uncomfortable. Other than that the place is very nice. They may take a deposit which may take 5 days to come back to your account. Whilst travelling I learnt a lot of things about this. Make sure you got enough money to put down deposits if you have a debit card. Especially in this area no one except anything but a credit card.

This had to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was downstairs in the basement with a window that does not open looking out at a 50ft concrete wall 6 feet away in the "courtyard" which by the way is viewable from the lobby elevator waiting area on the second floor. Upon entering said room, all that could be smelled was what I will descride as 3 day old warm mayonaise and keychup. Parking was across the street in an unsecured parking lot. All of this prison feeling room for $279... The ONLY nice things were the bed and the showers water pressure. Pay the extra 50 bucks and go to the prestige lakeside resort.

It's a basic Best Western so well managed and more or less comfortable. The 100's wing is damp and loud. I asked to be moved out. I got moved to a room near the desk and it was loud with staff. I didn't bother asking for a third room. I just don't think I'll go back

A few minor negatives but they were outweighed by the positives :). We’d stay here again! Not particularly friendly or welcoming at check in and not sure why I bothered to do the online check in via the email I was sent the night before as front desk ended up asking me all the same questions anyway lol. Great convenient free parking across the street. Trolleys for luggage as you walk in were greatly appreciated. Hume 2 Go for dinner (The Best Western Plus in Nelson is owned by same people as the Hume Hotel) was excellent!!!—customer service via phone and delivery person were great…..we had the 5star Dublin burger, chili lime brussel sprouts, salad, Tuscan pizza with whole roasted garlic cloves, and turtle cheesecake—all amazing! I had requested a fan in our room 3 times— once when initially booking, once on the online check in, and once at the front desk in person, however it never came but I called front desk right before bed at midnight and it was brought right away with a smile :). Room was clean although I was surprised to see a few cracked/chipped dingy bathroom tiles in a $250 a night room, but beds were very comfortable and pillows were fantastic. Air conditioning worked well. Lots of room. Appreciated the fridge and freezer and extra pillows and blanket! Decor simple, modern and relaxing. Hot tub experience for my husband was excellent in every way. Breakfast coupons for 1 breakfast for each of us (even though we were there for two days) at attached restaurant “Marzano” takes a dollar or two off regular price but not worth it—customer service was excellent, however my Granola fruit bowl was a 2 tbsp sour yogurt smear on a plate, a tbsp of granola, and 6 bites of orange and grapefruit full of large seeds, no strawberry syrup or gremolata as menu stated. ( Head up the street to Full Circle Cafe for a great breaky!) Free coffee in lobby with flavourings was appreciated! Pet friendly hotel and that was great— but definitely time to have the carpets cleaned in the rooms. Housekeeping was super friendly and we had some laughs with them while they worked. Convenient location!

Thoroughly loved our stay here. It was only one night, wish it had been longer. My husband and I were in a 8 night road trip, we stayed in many hotels. This hotel by far was the cleanest, most comfortable beds on our trip. I want to go back to Nelson just to go to this hotel

Beds were a little soft, but I do like a firm mattress. Clean rooms. The friendly staff and restaurant is amazing! Go ahead and book here! Our work group rented the banquet room this week and the catered food and staff were great and accommodating. Will be back.
