Update March 2023, Still like what BSC has to offer, but recently I've been ordering from their online store instead of at their retail stores. Their prices have remained reasonable in spite of Canada's skyrocketing inflation. Two stars off as I was recently charged provincial and GST taxes on an order I placed online. As we are now living in Alberta, I knew this was incorrect. I brought it to the attention of their customer service department (twice, by email) but received no reply and no refund. If they are charging me provincial tax in error, this is probably happening to other customers as well. I didn't appreciate my emails not being replied to and also having been charged for taxes that were not applicable.😔 We all have paid too many taxes in Canada already. And being ignored as a long time customer was unexpected and annoying too. ....... My previous 5 Star review, Beautiful, stylish AND comfortable clothing, well-made from natural fabrics and at very reasonable prices. I have bought many items at this store during the 8 years we have lived in Nelson, have always been happy with my purchases and have worn them again and again. I've received lots of compliments too, which is always nice. The store has a warm, inviting atmosphere and staff is helpful and friendly. If you are looking for some great summer (or other season) clothing that you will enjoy for years to come, check out Blue Sky in Nelson. You'll be happy you did! :-)

We were visiting in Nelson and stopped in this shop. Christine & Sky are absolutely amazing ladies! Top notch customer service! The ladies were very welcoming from the moment we stepped into the store. Both were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. They made suggestions and was able to help me get what I was looking for. Not to mention they were so wonderful with my husband and made him feel very comfortable being there. Christine and Sky are very down to earth women and if you are looking for quality clothing, natural fabrics and real excellent customer service I highly recommend shopping here. I will be back! I love this store, the bamboo is so gorgeous and soft! Washes up lovely, pet hair doesn't stick! Opra, Jazz, Gaylene, my faves! Fair trade, sustainable, colourful! The staff are incredible! They know their products and their stock and help me out with mail order! Thanks ladies, you're the best! 💛

The team at Blue Sky are amazingly kind and helpful. The clothes are very well made, all natural fibers, and ethically made. Blue Sky caries a great variety of styles, so I can always find something that suits my body and that I like. The quality of the product is of an excellent quality, and will be a part of my wardrobe for years to come. I adore the Baker St. shop.

Easily the softest most amazing clothing ever. The staff are lovely and helpful but never smothering. They have a great range of size from xs-4xl and do all the sizes well. From slouchly lounging in comfort right up to casual office wear and some lovely dress up options they've got it all. Prices are very good for the quality of clothing. I've got pieces I've bought here that are over 10 years old and still going, they've been worn often too. Their merino socks are so cozy too. Honestly I've never walked in and not bought something and I've never regretting buying anything from their store.
