The hotel organized the taxi from the airport for us, any query we had was sorted. They were most happy to book restaurant tables for us and taxis, and anything else we asked. I cannot recommend their staff highly enough. The hotel is in the center of Nerja, everything on it’s doorstep. We will definitely be back

The hotel is very nice. But in the full swing of August they don’t keep their roof top bar or the bar downstairs open in the evenings. We left the hotel at 8 pm and the bar wasn’t open and when we came back at 11 it wasn’t open either. The streets were overloaded with people so it would have been good to use the hotel facilities but that wasn’t possible

We will definitely be back! PLACE: The hotel is located in the strict center of Nerja, 2 minutes away from one of the biggest attractions of the city - Balcon de Europa. There are numerous restaurants, cafes and cocktail bars around the hotel. We were a little concerned that our little balcony was facing the bustling pedestrian street and restaurant, completely unnecessarily as the new windows ensured total silence in the room when closed. Privacy was provided by elegant wooden shutters, and a well-functioning air conditioning system ensured a pleasant temperature inside. There are two guest elevators inside the hotel. You can also use the spiral staircase located centrally. The rooftop pool is not huge, but enough to cool off, swim and have a few drinks with friends. The hotel provides all amenities - air conditioning, internet access, and parking - for smaller cars, a snack bar, a fridge and kettle in the room, etc. An unusual but very nice detail for us was a small elegant binder in our room, which contained all the information about the hotel, its rules and the attractions of the town. STAFF: Extremely helpful and polite gentleman from the reception helped us with parking the car (using a lift for vehicles) and warmly welcomed us at the hotel and gave us some tips on staying in Nerja. He assured us that if we needed any help, we could contact him directly. A very nice, friendly and always smiling girl serving breakfast in the hotel restaurant and in the snack bar by the pool prepared delicious smoothies for us. She also spoke very good English and was extremely helpful. People like her increase the value of the hotel for guests - I hope she is aware of this - she was just brilliant! The lady who worked at the snack bar by the pool and prepared meals there - I can admit that I haven't eaten such a good hamburger for a long time.

What a find and a fabulous location. Spotlessly clean and rooms good size and very comfortable. Such friendly staff from Reception, Cleaners and the lovely Pool Barmaid. The Rooftop Pool and Bar are fantastic and Snacks and Drinks very tasty and reasonably priced. Such a lovely atmosphere and such friendly guests. Cant wait to return

Fabulous stay at this hotel. Location excellent. Quad room excellent. Very spacious, fantastic bathroom with large shower. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever had in Nerja. The hotel was so clean. Rooftop bar and pool was fantastic and the staff so friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. A bonus we could see the Easter parades from our room too!

This is the only hotel anyone who visits Nerja should stay in. I have never in all my travels seen a cleaner hotel. The rooms are impeccable. The service amazing you can rent a towel for the beach and for the pool for 5 euro fully refundable. Which was so convenient. The location is absolutely perfect. So central you can walk to amazing restaurants and the beach. Its under 1 hour to the airport .Next time I go to Nerja I will most certainly book here.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Nerja, so convenient for all the beautiful bays and beaches. Perfect room (with tea/coffee facilities) with excellent, caring staff. Great buffet breakfast too! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return before too long!

Just recently finished a 30 day Spain vacation and this hotel was one of the highlights of the trip. We loved the hotel and we loved Nerja. It fell within the scheduling of our vacation at a point that we needed a break from the big cities and a break from basic sightseeing. It was/is a great place to rest and relax and it is very nice. Highly recommended.

The Hotell is very good. We miss confortable chair in the room when you stay a longer time. Servic are exellent. All the people are so nice and very helpfull. The breakfast is fantastisk! A perfect smallish hotel, ideal location slap bang central, rooms spacious fantastic walk-in shower, hotel absolutely immaculate and spotless, lovely friendly and helpful staff, roof top pool and bar, if thinking of booking, just do it.

Fantastic hotel,staff very friendly rooms perfect with a wonderful view,the breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from and the location right in the centre,we have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and will be staying again.

Fantastic Hotel, fantastic rooms and fantastic location. We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice and is delicious, if you haven't paid for breakfast in advance you can still go in and pay on the day €12.00. Parking. The parking garage at the hotel is underground and is accessed using a car lift which is only suitable for small to medium cars. To access the lift you need to drive down Calle Manuel Martin to the end and stop in the car park at the end of the road Parking de Giner de Los Rios. You then need to call the hotel and let them know you are there they will then send the lift up for you. You then need to drive through the carpark to Calle Granada which shows a one way sign pointing left ignore this and turn right the garage lift is immediately on your right. Enter front first and you will see a set of lift buttons on your left. Press -2 and the doors will shut automatically. The lift then takes you down and opens automatically at the bottom. If you car is too big for this or you don't fancy doing it the closest carpark is Parking Balcon de Europa situated under the Plaza de Espana off Calle la Cruz and is a very short walk to the hotel. If you use Google maps for car navigation do not put in Plaza Cavana as the destination because the Plaza is pedestrianised.

Really enjoyed staying here, it was out of season so was a great location in the centre of things so still got a good buzz. Could not fault the room and the best pillows I've ever had in a hotel.

The Hotel Plaza Cavana is an excellent hotel just two minutes walk from the Balcon de Europa, the local bars, restaurants and shops. There are nearby beaches plus the hotel has the good roof top swimming pool with a good snack bar selection. The staff are all friendly, efficient and the breakfast selection very good, well cooked and hot. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from this hotel and the staff are really friendly and welcoming very helpful. The breakfast was delicious something for everyone spotless. The location is fantastic you are right in the middle of town everything within walking distance. The only fault with this hotel was disabled access to the roof top pool as lift did not go to the pool.

This is a lovely family run hotel in a traffic free plaza in the centre of Nerja. We stayed in October. The rooms are immaculate and kept beautifully clean. The breakfasts are ample with a great variety of lovely food including gorgeous pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses etc. The staff are delightful and helpful. While we were there, we experienced no noise from the plaza below our balcony which has super bars and cafes in it. For a three star hotel, this is exceptional, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come again.

My husband and I just spent two nights at a Hotel Plaza Cavana, and absolutely loved it. The room was immaculate, and on the backside of the hotel on a very quiet street. The bed was very very comfortable. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful – helping us with parking, helping us figure out restaurants to eat at, giving directions. And the buffet breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve ever had included in a hotel stay. We absolutely loved it. The central location was also great! If we are ever back in Nerja, we would definitely stay at Hotel Plaza, Cavana again I enthusiastically recommend it to anyone.. It’s a great place.

Wow, beautiful hotel, friendly staff, our towels and bedding got changed every three days, they give 1.5 litres of water, spotless on cleaning. Brilliant location for getting around nerja , . Breakfast was excellent, and so was the snack bar up on the roof. Totally would come back again, we slept on Calle Granada, much quieter.

Located right next to a busy but 'not too noisy' playa or town square in the old town area. Very pleasant independent hotel with very personable staff. Receptionist, Inez, was very nice and helpful.

Lovely hotel in the middle of Nerja town centre. Very clean throughout. The breakfast wasn't great but it was plentiful. I would definitely return to it.

Beautiful hotel. It is listed as a 3 star but it seemed very good. What we loved: - fabulous central location (close to balcony) - we had an inside room overlooking a garden courtyard so it was very quiet - towels and water changed daily - beach or sunbed towels can be hired so no need to take these (refundable deposit) - small roof pool with snack bar - we had breakfast included it was perfect - very clean and quality hotel We would not hesitate to recommend and we would definately return. Nerja is a beautiful resort with several beaches that can be reached on foot. Lots of lovely resteraunts. Nerja caves well worth a visit - stunning (we went on the local Littoe train that stops near La Bottega resteraunt). Loved it! Thank you Plaza Cavana.

Parking is challenging. Dont use the lift unless you have a really small car. Hotel was nice clean , friendly, ,,, wonderful location, right in the city center, near the beach, all the resturants shops.
