This was at least the 5th dress shop I went to before I finally found the perfect dress. I thought I wanted a certain style, but after listening a little to my story and getting a feel for my personality, they selected another type of dress that I might not have looked twice at on the rack. After trying it on, I immediately loved the look and feel of it. Since my first time visiting the shop, I felt welcomed with so much warmth and happiness. They are very attentive and patient - I didn't feel any rush or judgment like I did with other shops. And such beautiful dresses for much more affordable prices compared to a lot of other shops. Can't express my gratitude enough for all the help from these lovely ladies!

Amazing bridal store! We went shopping for a dress for my cousin and hit the right store at first try. We've had a very warm welcome, very helpful service and managed to buy a dress! The ladies here really helped us by looking through the brides perspective and made her super happy! We really appreciate them calming her nerves down and the kindness they've shown. I came to this store from Utrecht because it had very good reviews. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I made an appointment beforehand and came to a set time. We had to wait in the store 30 minutes without anyone offering us a drink or checking on us. After 30 minutes, the store owner came to our table and was very rude in her communication. After asking about the budget, she left without saying anything. She sent a young assistant to help us who was absolutely charming and kind. When we came to try out and pick up the dress in a month on a set date and time, the owner moved us all the way to the back of the store which was a storage room “because she had other clients”. It felt like the deal was already sold for her and she just did not care anymore. We came to a young assistant and asked if we could be moved back to the main room, she managed to find a place for us afterwards. In the end, no one offered us any cake or Prosecco to celebrate, although we saw other brides getting it. Overall, they made me feel so unwelcome and sad. The dress I found was beautiful but I wish I would go to a different place.

We had an excellent experience, we were received promptly and kindly. From the first moment they made us feel super comfortable. The bride is my sister-in-law and we were able to walk into the store and choose the dresses without any rush. Elma's attention and delicacy were excellent, she really is a person with a lot of experience and guides you to choose the perfect dress for you. What an amazing experience - the friendliest staff I have worked with. So many dresses for any shape or size . Was overall my favorite wedding dress shop in the Netherlands! Would highly recommend , just bought my dress their and is am very happy! Staff goes above and beyond to make this and great experience!

So I did not end up buying a dress from Hartenvrouw boutique, as I unexpectedly found my dress before my appointment at hartenvrouw. A particular dress was ordered for me (which was very much appreciated!), but when I cancelled my appointment, Elma was very understanding and expressed that she was happy I found the dress. While I did not even set foot in the boutique, my email correspondence was positive. Thank you!
