At Schellach you can buy home-made cheese, vegetables, fresh bread and a range of delicacies. Just by crossing the road you can see where the milk is coming from and there is a little terrace to have a coffee and let the kids play in the outdoor area.

Huge variety of cheese and dairy products with a cafe next door. The way to get there by car makes it feel like a secret hideout.

Super local cheese farm. Amazing selection of housemade cheeses. Store also sells products from other local farms. Great service, knowledgeable staff(even the younger ones really know their products). Stables with young cows and older ones are open for visitors.

The cheese are very fresh,there are fresh milk and yogurt also.

A large part of the farm is open for the public to visit. And they make very good cheese and other dairy products. One way to improve would be to go organic.

We got to the counter and asked the lady who worked there in Dutch: “do you speak English?” To which she replied “yes”. I started asking for cheese in English and she stopped me by saying in Dutch: “well I speak English but here we speak Dutch” (in a very rude way, without a smile or a wink). You could have just responded “no, I don’t speak English” in Dutch and we would have figured out how to make it work (which is what happened anyways) if you didn’t want to speak English. Why would you feel the need to go out of your way to make someone feel unwelcome in the way that you did? I truly hope that the apparently bad day or week that you were having got better! All the best but we won’t be back 😁
