What a beautiful park/woods. You can find a lot of nice areas to walk and you can smell the trees and fresh earth. There's lots of little spots with water which makes for a beautiful peaceful view. Nice spots where you can sit and have a picnic as well. Highly recommended

This is a lovely park the whole year round. Good for sporters and families. With views of The Hanze Bridge and The IJssel Bridge you can walk around it. There are small lakes, lots of walking paths and benches to rest and enjoy the view.

Great place for an afternoon stroll. Not suitable for long hikes since its not really big enough to walk for several hours. For a slightly bigger walk you might walk to Katerveer. Both Engelse Werk and Katerveer are popular for wedding photography.

Park Het Engels Werk in Zwolle was built in 1830 on a former fortification, making it the oldest park in Zwolle. The park is now even a national monument. The landscape design, like the name already says so, it's based of the English Garden Landscaping.

Lovely park with beautiful views and lots of green. A few hills and the water make it a really nice place for a walk. Lots of benches and open fields as well so you can sit down and enjoy the park on several locations, in the sun as well as in the shade.

Enjoy this park in English style. Especially have your view over the dyke on the IJssel River.
