Phenomenal hostel with the lowest price in Groningen (currently). The staff is very helpful - always here for you. The beds are nice. The location is great, even though it's a bit out of the city, you can rent a Rebel bike and be in the city in <10 minutes. I'm really hip on this place. Also because of it's creative vibe and chill location.

Anna and Anika have created a peaceful and relaxed vibe with good ole fashioned Dutch kindness! Better than you could imagine.

Parked in the Camper Avenue across the street. Very helpful and friendly people. 5 Euro for a bike and 2 Euro for a hot shower. Calm Area, just 10 minutes by bike into the city

Very pleasant experience, nice people and no stress at all. Thereโ€˜s not a lot of space in the containers, but for the price it is fine. The only problem was that we had to leave the door and window open during the night to have some fresh air in the container, and because of that we got stung by some mosquitos.

One of the most interesting hostels I have stayed at. An industrial/refurbished eco atmosphere with accessible shared kitchen during working hours. The sleeping cabins are basic and clean with small lockers that come with keys for use. The bathrooms are a little tight but functional and well kept. There is ample sitting area outside with a mini-beach by the water, good for a small party or easy going lounging. Located in what feels like an old port refurbished into a lively and open space and a relatively short walk or bike ride into centre town.

It was a very pleasant stay at the hostel and the staff were very nice. They offer a minimal breakfast for a decent price, which is good. They recycle the water and provide more importance for the sustainability. It is located in a beautiful place by the canal which has great views. Everything is basically built inside the containers. All in all it is a good place to visit.

Great stay at Rebel Rebel. Friendly and helpful staff, rooms and kitchen were clean and up to standard. The common room is pleasant to hang out in.

I only stayed for one night but I enjoyed my stay. The hostel has a cool vibe, clean rooms and friendly staff. I'd have loved to cook something up in the kitchen if I had stayed for a bit longer.

Stayed at Rebel Rebel for a night in May 2022 and was the only person in the dorm! Cool little spot. The industrial in which the hostel is located is great for wandering around. Staff - or the one staff member I engaged with - is super nice.

Absolutely loved my stay at RebelRebel! No negatives at all. The rooms and common areas were clean and the hostel is so much nicer in real life than on the photos! The kitchen is well equipped to cook a meal and the location was perfect for Paradigm Festival. We rented bikes for 5 euros/day but the centre is also in walking distance. The beach at the canal is also quite nice. Will be back

I stayed here for 1 night while traveling solo. The hostel is incredible, with a beach and really nice places to chill. The bar is cheap. They offer snack food, the toastie I had was home made and amazing for โ‚ฌ3. The staff made me feel really welcomed and were friendly, there are plenty of bars in a cool industrial area right next to the hotel, it looks like on the weekend it'd be an awesome party! Only thing is the hostel is a 30 min walk from Groningen centre, but this hostel is worth it.

The hostel was okay. But letโ€™s start with the good stuff. The staff was super friendly and helpful, really amazing! There is a little common kitchen, which is very well equipped with a microwave, an oven, a stove, spices&oil, a fridge & pen to label your food, sections for food that doesnโ€™t belong into the fridge and a dishwasher! never had that before in a hostel. But sadly I didnโ€™t feel so safe in the hostel because you canโ€™t lock your dorm room. There are two rooms in one container and you can look the door from the container but on the day this door is always open to get in some fresh air because the window in the dorm room is really tiny. The bathroom is in another container which isnโ€™t a problem but there are just two toilets and three showers which is in my opinion not enough. In the nights it was always pretty loud because there is a club next to the hostel. The location is not the best but the hostel advertised their bikes. It is true there are bikes for 5โ‚ฌ a day but if the bike gets stolen even though it was locked you have to pay 300โ‚ฌ and the lockers were really bad. So all in all you have to outweigh what is the most important to you when you are in a hostel. But I loved the city Groningen, can totally recommend it to you!

Great location! Love the creative atmosphere. The hostel is owned and operated by two lovely hosts which makes your stay laidback and more personal than any other hostel in the area. A couple of other plus sides to this place are the bike rental and the free breakfast! Keep up the good work!

Brilliant little hidden gem. What a find!! We loved it!! Bikes voor little, walk to town only half an hour. Beautiful asmosphere, cool spot. Great little beach, good drinks. Simple cheap breakfast. Free tea and coffee. The only tip I would give: Make 1 designated snore-room. So all snoring can commence together. Otherwise non-snorers don't sleep (even with earplugs) which is a moodkiller. P.s. And food delivery was a great tip! ๐ŸŒป โœŒ๏ธ
