For the weeks that I stayed here I had a great time. Staff were pleasant and helpful and engaging in good conversation. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

I love the consistency of this hotel. Efficient check in, clean, comfortable rooms with consistently working A/C. Staff of check in were delightful and super helpful with a query. Restaurant staff whilst friendly were not as efficient/effective as check in. Good choice of non-alcohol drinks (beyond sodas) which was a pleasant surprise. Location is great for my (work) needs, but otherwise seemingly a little random. Haven’t explored the area but feels quite remote so beyond not eating in the hotel not sure where you can go that’s close.

UPDATE 10/13/23 - The hotel bent over backwards, in my opinion, to refund the overpaid amount. As such, I'm upgrading the service from 2* to 5*, and my overall rating to 4*. I would stay here again, but hopefully if I have a faster method of transport. Initial review - Booked 7 nights and paid upon checking in, but work ended a day early and I checked out. The clerk stated that the overpayment would be credited to my card, but 2.5 weeks later, there has been no refund or any response to email communication. I’ll have to dispute this with my credit card company and they’ll likely lose all credit for this stay, not just the one night of unused time. Since they’re supposedly transitioning to an immigrant housing facility, they’re probably in need of funding which shouldn’t be my problem. Overall, the room was nice but the elevator was out of order the entire time. The rooftop bar was closed. Being located on the edge of the town, it’s not convenient to the city center without a car or walking about 30 minutes.

Stayed here 17th to 18th the staff spoke fantastic English and the rooms were spacious, clean and fresh also the bed was comfortable however the door to the shower room had no privacy so someone could walk in while your having a shower and see you clothless maybe frost the glass door for better privacy also the window blind kept opening and shutting on its own other than that very nice hotel

We went to the restaurant for the „Menu de Chef December“ and it was amazing! So delicious, kind staff & the food came fast. I definitely recommend going here!

Nice and affordable hotel in Uden. Rooms are a great size for short trips. Bed was very comfortable. You can rent a bike. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and does not disappoint. There is also a cafe/bar to hang out in. We also had a drink in the Skybar which is lovely. Would stay again.

Nice hotel with a good location. The dinner is excellent, and the people are very friendly. However, for this price range i expect a 4* offer that should include minibar and not damaged resturant sits

Only went to their restaurant had relaxed early dinner. Food and drinks was good for the price, terrace surroundings are very good. Service was good. Recommended to stop by for a drinks or whatever.

Terrible customer service. They setup a group reservation and never sent out the terms for the group reservation cancelation policy. Paul never explained we could individually create reservations at no cancelation cost. Due to unforseen issues related to COVID the forced group reservation needed canceled. As a result, all people had to pay a 35% fee for the rooms. Finally, after talking to other coworkers the staff at the Valk had gone through bags and other personal belongings in past stays and they would also not recommend staying at this establishment. Do not stay at this establishment if you value your privacy and whatever you do don't do a group reservation... Take the extra time and do individual reservations as they are refunded up to check in. We also thought it was interesting Paul waited for his boss to go on maternity leave to follow up with collecting the 35% group reservation scam fee.

Very nice hotel, excellent service. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, the beds very comfortable. The restaurant is very good. Yes a place to recommend!! The only thing I did not like were the surroundings of the hotel.

I stayed for 3 nights there, love the breakfast selections from breads, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, fruits, cereal to coffee, tea and also fresh orange juice (very recommended). They clean our room everyday also change towel etc. We bring our 1 year old baby, and she played at their kids room, it's decent. Special shout to their waitress Brenda,very nice and friendly lady who is good in entertaining my baby when we had breakfast. Definitely we will stay there when we are in uden.

The hotel is well appointed and looks lovely however there are some bad choices which caused a lot of problems for me. -There is no minibar in the room and appeared to be no way to get any food or drink to your room - The only place to get any food or drink seemed to be in the resturant downstairs or the roof bar - The ground floor bar was always closed for some reason? - only when I left was I informed that the room service menu was available if I turned on my television - The beds are terrible. Two single beds put together instead of a double bed - The sheets are too small so within seconds the sheet comes untucked starts to bundle up - Single duvets are too small and very uncomfortable - No iron provided in the room is annoying - The heavily weighted door to my room hit me multiple times when it closed too quickly. I have bruises from this. - I don't drive and there are no nearby shops. The hotel does not sell any toiletries or sundries to help with your stay - Most of the staff seemed very confused On the plus side the resturant is very good, the roof bar is lovely. It's a shame these great aspects are let down by poor choices by management and annoying problems.

very much a standard hotel, everything as you'd expect from a non-budget hotel, nice, clean, plush. Pros: 1. Breakfast, able to get gluten free bread on request, good choice of food and drinks 2. kids play area 3. gym 4. free parking 5. friendly staff cons: 1. on a Sunday night we ordered ice and 3 glasses to the room but they took ages and then when we called they said they are busy and we had to go the bar to pick them up, at the bar only one person was working and she was dealing with a big order so had to wait 10-15 minutes to get it, very long! 2. mini-bar empty - just empty. 3. no soya milk at breakfast

This place was fancy. Breakfast was delicious with many options. The orange juice machine was my favorite. The room was small but comfortable and the air conditioning system was key for me to sleep even more comfortably. The hallway to my room was a bit too dark for my liking. The water temperature in the shower was hot or hotter. I was able to walk to the downtown area in about 20 minutes which was a very enjoyable walk for me.

Clean, modern hotel perfectly located next to the highway and within close proximity to central Uden. Next door to a KFC and McDonald's if you need a quick snack run. Also has a pop-up Dunkin Donuts inside the lobby with flavors we consider "fancy" in the US. Best of all, when not on lockdown due to a global pandemic, the chain of hotels usually offers an AMAZINGGGG brunch!

Very nice hotel, excellent rooms, restaurant is very nice, good beer- and wine collection, breakfast is excellent.
